Have you ever found Gold in quartz and if so ...where? For more vids on Gold mining just watch this video ruclips.net/video/v2XvV-IsaiA/видео.html and smash that like button ...SMASH it HARD !!!
I purchased gold in quartz that was found on Klamath River north of Yreka , CA . A miner had a quartz vein on his property . The gold was very fine hair like crystals that formed in the Quartz. The gold was fragile and would easily break from the Quartz . It appeared as if the gold recently formed in the Quartz . I was told gas created gold crystals in the Quartz. The specimens were stunning ! I never saw specimens like this before & haven’t seen specimens like that since .
I know where the gold is, I have the gift, you know what I'm talking about, Its rare like gold. But right now its a curse to know where Gold is and not be able to get it. California Mother Dode.
I love the excitement Mr Williams brings to his channel.ill be listening and when I hear the kol aid " oh yeah" I come running g yo the screen I got gold fever pretty bad.
Great video guys , every time it is always an adventure and learning experience. ! there's got to be lots of guys who can't get out any more that feel the same way So a big thanks again Guys. TANK
At 6:20, Jeff discusses how the old-timers hid their goods. There is a famous case of a faith healer years ago in California called the Goat Doctor. He would take payment only in silver dollars. After he died, a crew went out to raze his shack. The front loader scraped off the top of a huge chest full of silver dollars that was buried under the floor. This was just the beginning. Silver dollars were buried all over the property.
Jeff if it weren't for your glasses ya might have thought it's just another bullet, lol. These posts of hunting gold teach us in so many valuable ways. Once again thank you and your lovely wife's dedication. Love seeing her posts of travels , sites , dining and just plain living the dream also. Your a fortunate man Jeff.
Nice work Jeff. There are some washes and crevices close to my house out in the desert. I’ve been meaning to go sample some of it, now that the claims have lapsed in that area. Maybe I’ll do a video about it? Good gold hunting! Take care.
I was chasing a tiny ribbon of a Quartz vein… from an old 1800s Mine Pit in NC. I knew it was good , when I saw deep red dirt surrounding it, in the regular clay. Saw Iron and sulfides with little pockets …with my magnifying loupe, in the tiny 1/4” wide and smaller...ribbon of Quartz . I Used a set of hand pliers, to Crush the small ribbon samples at the site. My magnet pulled out the crushed iron. When I Panned All of my sample material, the water in the stream below it…turned (Blood Red)! I did find a nice small gold flake that day, from that small sample! ⛏️⛏️⛏️💯💯💯
Very interesting strategy again. Thank you Lila and Slim and Jeff. Who says you can’t find anything to do in remote areas. Just have to be innovative 😊. Slim says look for old buffalo chips🤣
It amazes me how they found the small pieces of gold back then. It took from @9:50-12:10 to find a piece with a detector. They must have had good eyes back then.
Great video as usual. I'm headed down to Arizona in about 3 weeks, I figured I might as well look for some gold while I'm there. This video was helpful in that endeavor thank you.
yup my favorite prospecter and geologist and one of my favorite people jeff and his woman you know the one that keeps him on the right path love you both ❤❤😊
Still got my original gold bug. Love it. I've owned a gold bug 2. A gold strike and a whites gold master 2. Allways had to lend one. Buddies. Allways broke eating your chips and drinking your beer. Lol. I never let my bug outa my sight. ❤❤❤
was out learning about my nox 900 in gold mode. in the coolgardie area. ,then went by ord mountain. was horsing around with my gm 1000. ,was helping jim & yvonne. (high desert gold diggers) dry wash for some AU. was an awesome weekend. have a good day. 👍👍👍👍
Me and a friend have a claim, I use the gold bug 2 for locating the iron stones around the creek, we have these iron stones up top golf ball size and they ring up well with the gold bug 2 and if I locate them along/in the creek the gold is almost always good around them if I dig that area. The claim we got is a section of creek full of boulders some as big as a garden shed. The ground can be as hard as woodpecker lips to dig sometimes but the gold is a mix of rough and smooth chunky gold. Our gold in Western Montana may smaller but the fun factor is just as good 😁
Awesome old buildings and samples Learning all the time thank you 🙏 Just got back from a 1200 kilometre trip 18 hours strait driving twice lol lol yea ya gunna get tiered lol Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
On the east side of lone Mountain near Tonopah Nevada, a 5 to6 inch quartz vein presenting around 1 inch inclusions of cubes of iron, despite of being near the the Carlin trend, I don’t know how much gold on that Mountain, but there’s turquoise. I subscribe to you. Really, you have a quality channel I approve
Wait, the old miners didn't put their gold and money in banks? How did they use their debit cards and Venmo and stuff? Sorta drawing up plans for next year, to go poke around old digs. Had some minor mines that are easy to access still that I know of. Need to go scope out around Republic and such. Really haven't tested the Gold Monster out yet, putzed around in the yard...... Should go downtown where the old train station was til like 75 years ago. Big open lots now. Metal detecting as a kid we found a lot of old square nails.
FPV drones are getting smaller and smaller and the video quality keeps getting better. If you don't already, you should carry one to help you scout areas when you start running across signs of previous mining.
That’s a good sound machine my first gold bug was number 327 with a whole bunch of zeros in front of it. For many years that was the Detector for gold you must wear headphones you can discriminate by ear you can tell what kind of mineral it is a lot of stuff until the shape of stuff way faster than any other machine out there at the time. That is not the original Goldbug two. The original one was too hard for the general public to operate I loved it but most of public could never operate it so they went kind of back to the original Goldbug with just a couple modification . You can’t run the Detector without headphones you should know that Jeff.
I have found gold still attached to quartz in Humboldt Co NV. I use the 1000 and 7000. I bought my Nokta (pronounced NO-k-ta- Long O), for coins and relics. It has a gold setting at 40kHz. I should try it. I told you on FB, I saw a statue at the Nevada State Railroad Museum Friday that looked like you.
I bought a gold bug 2 on eBay a few years ago cause it was a good deal. I’m 45 and better get out there for fun while I still can. I don’t expect to hit a motherlode but finding a new spot along a vein would be cool. I’m in Sunland ca and there are many spots to explore within an hours reach. If I can find just some specs of gold, it would make my day😅
Did some hardrock mining close to the Vulture complex by Wickenburg... dark purple and red quartz that was super rich.... chased the vein almost 25 feet down in 3 months... what a blast.... hehe
Thanks Jeff, another very informative video A question/observation: 2 plastic pans are lighter than 1 gallon of water and 1 pan. With 2 pans you could re-use the water and get by with a quart or even less. A little plastic funnel would allow you to re-use the water for at least 2 sample sites. Save packing 7 pounds of water or do more panning of samples on site by conserving even more water?
Jeff, there's a fern that grows up here in Oregon on the creeks in the mountains it looks tropical its not big it's small I notice it because it's neat looking, anyway when i watch 911 up in Canada it grows there to and it's always all around minerals or mines on the rivers or creeks I don't no if they notice it or not but I can't help but notice it now if you ever watch their stuff look for it.I need to look for it here next time I go up the mountain I forget every time.
