- Leeds Warrior Josh Warrington had the IBF featherweight title until a loss to Mauricio Lara in a behind-closed-doors shock.
Until then, Warrington had seemed like a force of nature scoring big wins over Carl Frampton and Lee Selby and he was looking towards unification fights.
Here, he reflects on his career to date and looks ahead to the challenges he will face as he bids to turn the tables on Lara.

Another great interview Trish🇬🇧👊🏼
Great interview with a very honest and humble fighter, he will be back and will avenge his only pro defeat.
Nice surprise this. Thanks Tris.
Great stuff
Big fan of Josh, really exciting fighter but i was hoping he wouldnt have the rematch, hope im wrong but i get the feeling Mauricio Lara just has his number and i feel another stoppage loss... Fingers crossed im wrong
How mentally tough is Josh?!? To do this interview, be so open and honest about it! He is dealing with it and this is why I think he wins in September
He will certainly be up for the rematch.
Terrible recent management. For him to drop the world belt and fight an unknown and lose, that is on his promoter.
i dont agree, he needed to stay active, they found a guy willing to fight and he should have won. Im worried for him in the rematch, the Mexican might do him again
A lot of time for this kid. Was devoed when he got beat by Lara. But this guy gets up for his fans. End of
You can take a defeat like a world class boxer, just listen to josh my opinion of this guy has gone up 100 percent.Bily Joe could learn alot from this guy.
Great interview! Josh has taken his defeat like a real man and champion, but even with a crowd I can't see anything but the same result in the rematch unfortunately.
Fans make a big difference
@@azmclovin4141 Really though you can see it as a bit of a crutch if a boxer has to rely on fans to get him up for a fight. Then again I suppose there's an element of just being used to it when you get that successful?
@@michaelthompson3286 we seen it with multiple fighters during this pandemic so it's proven going to Leeds with all them.fans cheering for Warrington and booing the opponent it takes a mental toll
@@azmclovin4141 styles make fights. lara beats him again.
Michael hope your wrong, that guy can bang.Only as good as your last fight unfortunately. He needs to box, box, box and don't take it as a given even if your opponent is 0/15/ and a draw.
Wrecked his career when he left Warren
He’s not the same guy
