I have the Diecast Masters CAT model, and it is a quality product. It is nicely detailed, and is all-metal. It looks impressive as a static model, but quite fun when operating. All functions work as advertized: tracks, swing, boom, stick and bucket. Tracks are metal. Although not shown in the video, tracks can be counterrotated, and the stick extends fully. Digging depth is comparable to that of the 1:1 machine. The model is not hydraulically operated, but that is not a bad thing, as hydraulics add complexity, rather, the "hydraulic" cylinders are actuated by electric motors (think screwjacks, similar to that used on aircraft control surfaces). Bucket range of motion is excellent. I'm very happy with the model!! Nitpicks? While the stick extends fully, you cannot "tuck" the stick fully in (as you would in transport mode). Another thing I like is that functions can operate simultaneously, as in the real machine, which are smooth and lifelike. It's heavy, at about 12+ pounds. As mentioned, it looks great even standing still, and once again, this NOT a plastic model! Run time is acceptable, but hopefully spare battery packs become available, as presently one has to recharge the battery provided before operation can begin. I'm 67 years old, and have a blast with this model, and feel it was worth the cost. Highly recommended.
How about if it’s actually hydraulic or not or if it’s just all purely Servos? That’s a big one as hydraulic models are usually extremely expensive and even have an oil Reservoir and all
