    K I've listened to it a few times I'm still not understanding the ground contact from here to here to here you say that's 3 contacts on the ground after the jump

    What do you mean count your ground contacts from here to here in between the box it should be a specific amount of space what do you mean count the ground contacts the child or the client should either touch the ground only the one time if they touch 2 times they're not doing it correctly that would be ground contact counting I don't know what you mean could you explain please thanks

      So a ground contact is everytime the athlete lands or strikes the ground. So of the box to the ground is one, and then the box landing is another. However, the box landing contact is less intensity than stepping off the box. Look at the box you're landing on as elevated and since the body is decelerating in the air (due to gravity) the speed is less. Where the depth drop box to ground is still accelerating the whole time until you actually hit the ground.
      So each rep is 2 ground contacts...one more intense than the other.
      A traditional box jump would be just one ground contact, with the lowest intensity possible.
