If the Fever players could catch the ball better, and shoot consistently from mid range and out, CC would annihilate assist records and the Fever would have a better record for sure. She makes these passes to wide open teammates on the perimeter and they try to go inside to score, going towards the defenders, turning a wide open look into a contested close range miss more times than not it seems.

CC is an amazing player, but she is not GOD. She has to stop committing silly turnovers. Also, did you notice Sides changed the starting line up for this game? Obvious results showed she won't do that again.

@@gabrielyardley6063 does Reece turn games. Does Reece make winning runs when it matters. Caitlin plays best in the hardest games. I feel like Reece is brilliant in her specialty but, caitlin contributes in multi fascinated and, goes beyond just doing her part. Honestly don't think its a fair comparison.

The Fever were down by more than 20 to the worst team in the W and lost but she almost single handedly brought them back never mind the plus minus of her on the floor versus on the bench
so after the "massive win" over NY.. the fever change the lineup... lol.. why? The fever coaching staff are a complete joke. Once they finally get it clicking.. they change it for no apparent reason. This league has over-paid coaches and under-paid players.. and the real skill-deficit resides with the coaches and referees.
This loss is mainly on Sides! She made so many terrible coaching calls starting with the lineup! I think she needs to go.

@@nellydavis7645 - *Lose. And, yes- when the loss happens because a coach changed a lineup that was starting to click, it's on the coach. Sides knows this. That's why she refused to answer questions about it in detail in the post-game presser.

The ref need to call offensive foul on clarke everytime she push off. The ref helping clarke look good. Just watch how she PUSH OFF ALL THE TIME.
Because people like me actually watched the Reese game and I was like - How is Reese a factor in the game. They give her a rebound when her shot is blocked and she gets in back. She is less than 50% shooting inside of 5 feet. The more the media places attention on Reese the more she is exposed. Cardosa LOOKS better as a overall player than Reese.

The fever players don’t have perimeter shooters that have consistency in there shooting. To many misses coupled with turnovers and lack of defense is never a good sign of a games outcome. Though a good effort to get back into the game, they lack the ability to rebound and defend against at the Mystics.
🤔 The FEVER should make a trade for Nika Muhl in the off-season to provide the team with quality defence .

ROTY Reese vs Clark. Reese will win because of the agenda of the WNBA - not because she deserves it but because of outside factors. Which is life so why complain about it. Clark is not complaining, so why should we.
ROTY is about 10 elements of impact lets be as objective as possible - Its hard because of the distraction of the social media - Double-Doubles or One Triple Double are not overall Impact indicators. These are just numbers - Number show a bit of the impact of each player on their team, the game, and how many ways they can contribute. For me personally, as a coach who would you rather turn over the game to when things are tough. Reese or Clark.

What happened to Smith?
So..., the team that (ahem) "beat" the *best* team in the league, The Liberty, couldn't -- with 3 days off to rest, & playing at home -- couldn't beat the *bottom ranked* team in the East!...: the *Mystics* ! Hahaha!!...
The *Mystics* won the 1st, 2nd, *&* 3rd qtrs!!... It was Mystics *26-17* end of the 1st qtr..., *51-37* by halftime...; & **76-55** at the end of the 3rd qtr!!...: a *21* point lead! With the *Mystics* having a maximum **22** point lead!!
The score was still wide the 1st half of the 4th qtr, so I guess the ending score was closer because the Mystics gave their benchies some time, but had to throw the starters back in when the benchies weren't quite ready for 'the *stearing* wheel' all the rest of the way.
I like it when the *Mystics* let the Fever *think* the Fever jussst mighhht win..., but like Lucy with Charlie Brown, the Mystics snatched the ball completely away at the last second!... Hahaha!!...
Maybe it was also the Fever's *23* TO's!!... In *10* minute quarters!! And *ddayyumn* ...!!: the Fever *starters* made *15* of the Fever's *23* TO's!!... That's *23* times when the Fever *had* the ball, & suddenly it was *ggonne* & headed *the other way(!!)* with a Mystics player!!
So what?: "The Grate Whyte HYPE" had 29 points... She *shud* be able to score 29 points against the *Mystics* . But I wanna know how many times are the refs gonna let her get away with *blatant push-offs* like she was used to getting away with back in Iowa!? Otherwise she wudda only scored *23* pts at best.
But, a *Mystics* player, Ariel Atkins (at only 5'10") had *26* points (only 3 less than The GWHype!) -- and 2 *other* Mystics starters *annnd* 2 Mystics benchies were in *double figures* too!!...
Ohhh I know that Mystics victory musta been *sweeet* ... -- against the team that (ahem) "beat" The Liberty!!... *GO MYSTICS* !!...
Horrible ending by Clark. Milk the time for everything, their just watching valuable seconds go. Too close for mismanagement of seconds

Now I know why it was said the Caitlin Clark has a "special ref whistle"🤔 . Near the end of the 4th, she pushed off Ariel Atkins and the Mystics coach challenged the call. The refs over ruled the challenge and gave the ball back to the fever and CC goes to get 2 free throws? It was a clear foul on CC fault, yet they are playing at Indiana and refs are scared of the crowd if they make the right call in the other teams favor.🤨👎 Glad Fever still lost.😀

8:07 to go in the 1st at 2-0 a total push off with Malika Andrews running mate calling out the non-call. An offensive foul is a TO. She's now #4 on the all-time single season TO list. She'd be #1 already if refs would call a correct game that she plays in. She would have fouled out this game & many others, lowering her offensive stats. I hated the Kobe & Jordan referee favoritism & this is no different. It is not right to all players nor fans.
