Beautiful... Can you please tell me how did you select the anchor point of the curved C to create a bent line? When I am doing, even if I select the specific anchor points and trying to create a line, its selecting the whole object. Please assist.
Thank you for making the video slow enough to follow the steps.. I think it is easier to up the speed whenever needed, than to lower the speed on fast videos. And really appreciate the relaxing background song.
Use "C hotkey" to select the top and bottom of the anchor points, it will split the vertical line from the curve lines. Then, use A or V to select the vertical lines and delete
Using the Blur tool for the shadow will prevent you from using the logo on any other background besides white. If you use the Drop Shadow effect, you get the same look and a transparent gradient for use on different color backgrounds. Yes, Drop Shadow is a raster effect, not vector, but to maintain versatility in a company logo, drop shadow would be the way to go.

Thanks for your comment and love. I am sorry I didnt get what step you're having problem?
Same here. Also, is the original logo in this video coverted to outlines? Wondering what alterations/settings there were prior to the tutorial beginning. Thanks!!
@@TiaAnders429 Thanks for your comment. Yes, the original logo was a shape outline. Just follow each & every step of the tutorial as it is and you will have the desired results. Cheers!

Merci beaucoup!
Came out great but was the Gray piece supposed to be higher elevated than the Blue C? Seems like an oversight. Also that flat highlight had me wondering if it really looked like a highlight. Other than that loved it!
Thanks for your comment!
Love it
Thanks :)
Can u say me the type of police u used?
Thanks for your comment. Its custom-made.
good job
Thanks!
Is the UI and UX designer responsible for designing the icons, pages, shapes ..etc only? or does he have to bring them to life using css and html.. etc?
Just designing !! But if the client requires...It comes in the development process which is for the front end developer!!
Nowadays there are plugins that can directly convert the design into HTML CSS...
@@alexaplays7410 Can you suggest some of those plugins for Adobe XD?
please send me brush name or brush file i can't find in illustrator
8:10, See how you can create the brush OR download the source file including Brush from: www.creativealys.com/2020/05/26/how-to-create-3d-glossy-logo-in-adobe-illustrator-easy-tutorial/
@@Creativealys thanks i got it
I like it
Thanks!
awesome
Thanks!
The first 30 seconds, how do get to separate like that?
Thanks for your comment. Each and every step is mentioned in the video. Please watch it again and you'll find out.
Hold Alt on the key board and then drag the LM
@@Creativealys I've downloaded the video and watched on a large screen TV with friends and none of us can work out what was done to separate the image like that!
Please post the timestamp of the screen you are asking about?
@@chausinhthanh2063 *Thanks. If only he had put that in the instructions!!!!!*
That was pretty cool. But I don't think I'll subscribe if I think that subscription bell will be popping up on every video...a little annoying. But thank you for this tut, very nice indeed.
Thanks for your comment and apologize for the inconvenience!
Hi, just to let you know that yours and our other viewers' concerns regarding Subscribe Popups finally made us edit the video and remove the frequent popups. Hopefully now you can better enjoy the tutorial! Your feedback is always welcome. Good day!
Great tutorial! However can you provide one with what the tools you use do? I thought you would have just used the drop shadow.
Thanks for your comment. Its Blend and 3D Extrude tools used.
I feel the way it's done in the tutorial has a better fade and looks more like an actual item on a table/plane with the appearance of a slight reflection/sheen. I tried with the drop shadow...it's lacking something that this tutorial gives...IMO. Hoping I can get the blend to work (fingers crossed)
@@TiaAnders429 Thanks for your comment. You can just take the same logo & follow each and every step of the tutorial as it is and you'll have the results like it is in the tutorial. If you're having some problems at specific step, just let me know the timestamp and I will get you back with the clarification. Cheers!
@@Creativealys Thanks a million for your quick responses! So...I'm having a problem because I'm trying to add the glossy brush to an exclamation point (that has been converted to outlines) and there are only 4 points on the circle, so I'm trying to free-hand click points with the drawing pen, and it looks horrible! lol How can I create the brush on a curve that has no points? I tried creating a circle on its own (to just place on top of the exclamation point), and that still only has four points. Thanks again for your help.
@@TiaAnders429 Thanks for getting back. You can cut a quarter curve from a circle and add the glossy brush to it. Hope this works for you.
How did you made this logo ?
