- Just a showcase of what I thought is the hardest mission to do without dying and its on normal difficulty.
the same mission on higher difficulty is also on the channel where I got the "the way of the vanquisher" achievement.

this mission during the 1st playthrough is borderline torture.
i also didn't know during that time that you can use travel amulet or earthfolding talisman to replenish anything you need.
i loathed this mission during my NG playthrough
I just finished this for the first time..
I cried blood after I saw the second otakemaru
I was expecting that a little but that William joined after that threw me off xD

I thought Lighting God was the last that when I burned through all my elixir, never been so wrong in my life...

I personally actually like this mission. Nioh 1's version of this was both hard and easy as you didn't have the "soft" checkpoints from this mission, but had to deal with human bosses rather than yokai ones.
was so fucking confused the first time i played this mission but it was so fun. love trying to join as a visitor to help first playthroughs or NG players with this mission 😁
The good old katana...never disappoint 👌
good thing that this mission have checkpoint per wave....if u have to start everything all over after 1 death, it gonna be torture
I really like this mission, and wouldnt consider it that difficult, since you get checkpoints. On DotD and upwards this becomes a marathon though.
fuck this mission to its highest degree. I had no idea what this mission was and every time i thought it was over more would spawn. I literally am still on break after beating this.

This mission made me want to pull my teeth out
Did this, got to evolved otakemaru, and just was like, nope I’ll come back in when I’m lv 200 with a purity and corrupt weapon
For me the hardest one was where I have to fight yatsu-no-kami then shuten doji then finally otakemaru in byodo-in 1 after another with no breaks in between no checkpoints
Poor otakemaru never challenges me with my build 😅 just take 3 plushy cats with u and he is gg ez like tbh any boss they are super op
The young Otakemaru in my opinion is so much harder and it unfair designed trash

@@ashtonstar8781 this is only frustrating bullshit, you have to learn a combo system thats bigger as in Soulcalibur and Mortal Combat plus you switch in an Item pool that is bigger as in witcher 3. You have to all these things against an enemie that spam more skills in 10 seconds as the father owl and isshin the swordsaint at the same time in 1 fight

I would have cried seeing a second Otakemaru for the first time blindly. These drawn out fights are too much for me, and having the sake difficult boss twice in a row would end me. Then a human boss? Even if its William, I would be frigged. Beautifully showcased, though.
Yeah, this mission can be a pain. Definitely one of the hardest out there. I just am so thankful that Yokai Yoshitsune isn't a part of it. He or Tsuchigumo. Those guys are THE WORST, as well as Saito Toshimutsu, the samurai mage! I hate a few other bosses almost as much as those three, but wow, they take the cake.
(Side note: a Nioh AND Destiny player. We could be best friends, lol)

I think as Team Ninja create this boss all of them was more drunken as the young Shuten Doji, the hangover was so heavy that Team Ninja forget to patch it Back.

this wasn't the hardest mission for me, since you have checkpoints. The hardest one was the one at the end where you have to save some friendly yokais and at the end of it there's a lot of hard enemies
did this mission at around 180 - was much easier for you at that lvl, but at the end it'd be one of the hardest to do without dying i agree

It would have been, without checkpoints. As it is, it's just long, but pretty fun for my taste

Mission name? I'll have to suffer through this eventually. Also, do you know how to level up divine armor or weapons? It's kind of confusing to me.
Its the side mission where nekomata said something about a contest of strengt between samurai and yokai. Its in the first samurai dlc

Its the first samurai dlc
This mission is easy. It gives you shortcuts with the dark Kodama.
Only things hard in Nioh 2 was dual sword tengu guy. And the stupid anime swordsman girl who has weird slash attacks.
Yokai abilities in Nioh 2 and the Fists make the game a cakewalk.
I plan on doing a kusarigama and no active yokai ability run because it was nerfed in nioh 2. Its tracking isnt the same as it used to be.
nah yoshitsune is ez, yorimitsu is easier, saito yoshitatsu is the true final boss, the onmyo/magic guy
True the Mission has Checkpoints but I never needed them so I did not know 😅

If you use the switchglaive reflect skill it can actually reflect the swords and completely drain his ki its funny

I don't understand why there are always 100 damn revenants in places that you can never spawn them. Does anyone know? I feel like there must be hundreds of orange inheritables just waiting on these guys.
they just represent the people who died fighting there, you cant even summon mid mission cuz you get clapped
Kurama sword dance spam, no stance switching, completely out scaled mission... I mean, it's not really that interesting gameplay imo
I really wanna know the name of the combo skills you were using the whole time in mid stance there. That seems so busted

The mission is called "Against all corners" its a DLC mission but I also found out there is checkpoints BUT doing it with no death in one go is the challenge there and I did that there.
I don't understand why people uses overpowered builds, like do you have fun beating every single boss in 10 seconds. But I guess if this is how you wanna play it doesn't really matter that much to me.
Yeah this side mission is where I call it, rather not torture myself going through that final round haha
Had a tremendous amount of enjoyment out of this game as whole
As I know by now there are checkpoints so it's actually easier then it I thought back then at release

Also, as I typed this, I saw Yasuke appear and die in less than ten seconds. Got a snort out of me. "Not bad".
It's the weaponart of the 1st dlc endboss.. took ages to farm it but its super fun because the tracking is insane

Yeah, I unlocked his Interim fight so at least I don't have to do the whole level to get to him.
@@shadowofthehitokiri5787 but it's easier damage wise to get a save point at the end from the lvl. Just fight him and if the loot isn't the skill just leave without saving and redo. Should be more efficient and easyr

How did you even change your attack patterns?
What exactly do you mean? If you mean the attack i use like 90% of the time it's a combat art for the katana.
Do they decrease the bosses health or are you just doing a ton of damage?

hes doing more damage because hes fighting a lower mission level than his character level
@@exp1ghost10 did the same on higher difficulties and I just show off the Mission nothing else 👀 I do always good damage.. not insane much like the others who have way too much time and rly grind hard xD but I'm happy with what I have... she btw pls.. she 👀

@@DynoSkrimisher I did the same mission on DotD (NG++) for the Vanquisher achievement also on the channel but this here was my 1st playthrough and is the normal difficulty
@@silencesymphonytwitch I mean you are at lvl 400-500 here doing a lvl 145 mission so your damage is ofcourse higher

I do have a build and it's nothing meta like other people posted 😅 it keeps me alive and I can do damage that's all I need and I would definitely show it if there is any interest 🙂
