    This is so helpful thank you so much! I'm coming to Waseda for my exchange year in September and am a little nervous about what to expect for the dorms so this is really great!

    waow, thanks for the super in depth video! i'll be moving to south wing next month so i'm keen and thankful for all these tips haha
    just a question though, is there like a parcel room? (sorry if i missed it in the vid) for big parcel deliveries, or just for deliveries in general? i'm planning on buying a lot of stuff online and was wondering about that

      Bella Chan the room when you first walk in is where mail is kept. The 寮母さん collects them for you and leaves them in the entrance. If you are expecting something you just look at the packages for your name and sometime a sticker will be placed on your name at the check in board to indicate you received a package.

    Would you recommend staying in the Crevia dormitory, or is it better to rent a place outside?

    Hello!
    I just watched your RUclips video, "Waseda University 早大寮 Dorm Tour", which I found it very helpful 😊 I'm thinking of moving in to the North Wing side (room has already been decided), but how safe are the showers, given that boys and girls share the bathroom together?? Like are there few security cameras placed around?

    • @livinglifewithdistractions
      @livinglifewithdistractions  4 года назад +1

      there are no security cameras but the doors do lock from the inside so it is super safe

      @@livinglifewithdistractions Oh okay! Was there any dodgy incidence invplved with this mix gender thing? Sorry my parents are extremely worried 😂.
      Also I'm in North Wing 204, but do you know if that room has a toilet?
      Thank you so much for replying!

      @@rionam3559 The rooms should have their own toilet. The showers are the only things that are shared. During my year there were no incidences so I am sure you will be fine. There is a dorm mother that monitors the dorm so if there ever is a problem she will fix it.

      @@livinglifewithdistractions Ahhhh I see yeah that makes me and my family feel better 😊. I'm from Australia too and it feels great to talk with someone who is from your country and able to share experiences together. If you don't mind, would I be able to talk on other media like instagram or facebook? It would be nice to talk more about Waseda!

    Hello! Can I ask for your help? Only 2 dorms of the A type (the only ones I can afford) are available: WID Tanashi 2 and Dormy Musashino. My faculty is the Toyama campus, so I guess Tanashi 2 is the easier one to access, but is there any difference in the accomodation? Do you or your friends know anything about these dorms? I would appreciate help very much!
