Very interesting video. It looks like a lot of snow build up on some of the storms. Those grates in the front might be part of what's causing that. Interesting technology and vision for sure. It's nice to see videos in the hands of actual end users rather than beta testers. Please post more videos to help show the progression of the software. Thanks for posting. I just subscribed.
It doesn't seem to affect performance and more a property of the wet heavy snow that also stuck to my plow blade as well. Definitely looking forward to posting video of Yarbo handling very deep snow as soon as we get it. Updates and improvements are coming in at least once a week, which is more than I can use it
@PaulWerner nice! When did you order yours? I ordered Dec 1. Emailed Yarbo and they said mid Jan now. Even asked if I could pick it up in Chicago vs FedEx but they never answered that.
@@Skylabz0rz I ordered in August. Back then I expected the wait. I'm just glad it's almost over and the only snow in my area so far has been light dustings that already melted away
Thanks for sharing this. I was supposed to get all but the battery today but FedEx failed to deliver so hopefully it'll show up tomorrow. I saw online the suggestion to remove the auger cage. Have you tried that at all to see if it makes a difference?
I see those recommendations all the time but I have not seen any issues with snow passing through the cage yet. I still prefer the added safely especially to avoid a larger rock
@@jasonrusso7 yes. some of the snow build up on the tracks is because they face the wrong way. but don't think that's all. I also think there is too much snow under the core, so maybe lower the auger a little. 😊
It's already over 200lbs, but traction can be an issue if it does not raise the auger off the ground enough when turning. That has already been improved in software updates. It will also work much better on pavement.
$6000 is crazy! And so are you people for paying that! You could've spent almost half of that and got this! ruclips.net/video/ZQX_i-gDTuU/видео.html . It's night and day difference too! Half the price and 10x better job!
Give the future a chance - Rome wasn't built in a day. In a few years, robot snow blowers will be as common as robot lawn mowers. If people don't dare new things, they would still live on trees.
@acedogg692005 touche. Some gripes about how logic currently works and when it decides it's "stuck", but I don't mind going out and kicking it occasionally for now till they improve logic because I've been there, and trivial things tend to never be trivial 😆 But to your point, i haven't yet seen anyone post anything quantitative about how often they have to help yarbo, so I'll try to count interventions next time it snows.
Thanks so much for your honest opinion and great videos! I’m impressed with how it handled so much snow along with the safety features.

Thanks for posting this. Mine arrives mid January (was supposed to arrive before Christmas). Hopefully before any major snow storms hit Wisconsin.
@@Skylabz0rz Oh hey, I'm here in WI too. I wish FedEx would stop playing around and finally give me mine

@PaulWerner Gotcha. Yeah, thankfully the snows held off a bit in Southeast WI where I'm from.
You really paid $6000 for this?? F that! I could buy one hell of a manual snow blower for that! Top of the line one too!
WTF this thing rocks!!’n
Only $6000 and you could have one too! Haha F that!!
I really like it. Where did you purchase it
From Yarbo. I have a referral link in the description.
@JWardellTechEV thank you

@JWardellTechEV For sure. I think I'm going to do the same
Good video. You have mounted the tracks backwards.
I know :) I'll switch them soon
Do you think that may be the cause of some of the traction issues?

Interesting toy/tool. You can buy a lot of more practical options for $5000...
It needs more weight than it can move through the snow a lot easier.🙈🙉🙊🇨🇦

Tows 3500 lb? Doubtful.

That thing is badass!! But note the gloves, hat, time, and physical presence required to operate it. With Yarbo, clothing is optional.
@@MichiganRobots Ya, clothing is optional lol. How many times did it get stuck? lol.

In just three weeks, it has gone from constantly needed interventions and help, to completing the entire driveway on its own.
This thing is absurd.
Looks like a waste pf time and money
