When the water nymph was about to get acid injected into it, her fearful sounds made me want to rush in and protect her from the scientists who'd been torturing her. Luckily, she fought off her tormentors and kicked their asses which served them right.
The only reason an SCP like her would turn into a threat would be because of the scientists and personnel here. They would be the reason she'd be a threat, not because she's a violent creature.
@William wolf I mean let me like stab you or shock you every now and then, you wouldn’t get mad and fight back right? It was mostly self defense, not even evil.
@Erebus You do know if she was real, it would be even worse, right? Especially if she were in America. So many people that love guns, imagine what extent they'd go to to eradicate something that is totally impervious to their ever-worshipped guns, regardless of its actual lack of threat?
That poor water nymph. She's now on the list of SCPs I feel really bad for, and I think shouldn't be in containment whatsoever. She fought back because she had enough of the torture she was being put through. I'm glad they are treating her better at the end though.
They have to do experiments on the water nymph because they need to know as much as can about it. Just because an SCP is classified as “Safe” doesn’t mean it is harmless. For example Keteru Yamiko is classified as “Safe” but is very dangerous.

Well if anything. Should have just left it in its box and call it a day
Serpent's hand has a point. Jailers claim to be cold not cruel but this shows me otherwise.
This was a series 1 SCP so that motto wasn’t established then.
Ethics committee wasn't a thing during this era I believe, so more messed up experimentation was allowed, like with Peanut.
I think it's not harmful in any way, I think this scp isn't an scp at all, it's most likely a female spirit who is strong enough to exhibit a form in water. Most likely it is the spirit of the boys mother from the beginning of the video. This spirit activity is actually more common that you think. I myself have had encounters with the paranormal and I gotta say you guys are very lucky that this spirit hasn't killed anyone after what she's been through.
The way she was acting near the end is like a person who dealt with physical abuse
Well it'd basically what it is.
- yes. She can take any form
- yes, even having cat ears
I -don't- like where this is going
No just no
*evil laughter
OH YEAH
she looks like the water spirit from black clover
This SCP is an example of how the Foundation is really no better than the Global Occult Coalition
"Cold, not cruel". Well okay, maybe sometimes. Hypocrites.
As much as I hate what the foundation does to some of the anomalies, the GOC would've evaporated her as soon as they got her to a base, so they deserve a 'not as terrible as you could've been' amount of credit.
I mean , the GOC murdered two sentient boats who did nothing and worst of all the boats were sapient , they did this with a chair too , and they caused hell in another dimention because they commited anomaly genocide so in a sense the Scp foundation is better , not by a lot , by a very small margin .
They both suck
Meh, who cares? If this was real, you would be happy not knowing what anomalies roam our reality.
90% of SCPs are dangerous, many are hostiles or could be used for evil purposes. Looking at it, bot commit necessary evil to ensure mankind survival. One by eliminating treath and another by studying/contain
I wish I could hug her. She deserves better.
The priest ripping off his shirt revealing the scp logo was hilarious
It would be much funnier if there wasn’t anything beneath
