Oh, so lovely, Ashley! Is this a C hap that you have tuned to B? Is there any danger in retuning? How far can you go up or down in tuning before you get into trouble? I hope that makes sense.
Hello Janet, Thanks for the comment :) Yes, these harps are usually tuned to C major for both nylon and wire strings. I tuned the nylon down a full step to B major as it was going out of tune quite a bit in C, bringing it down seemed to stabilize the strings and so i kept it that way, the wire just naturally followed suit and also i discovered that i can mouth whistle better in B than C :) Tuning it up from C is more critical as there's going to be added tension so i wouldn't go any further than C #. D major might be pushing it a bit.
Thanks :) Yes, it is an anonymous piece taken from an Italian 14th century manuscript. Even though my arrangement is a slow one i believe it's labelled as a dance piece. Thanks again for watching.
Hello Glauco, The psaltery was made by 'Musicmaker kits' it is a discontinued line now but you can still purchase the blue prints/plans from them if you want to make one of your own. All the best to you :)
So simple; so good.
That is beautiful! I don’t even know the song, but it doesn’t matter. 🌹
Wonderful as usual!
Thanks Mack :)
Beautiful.
Thanks Jim :)

Very nice indeed, but may I ask where this music comes from?
Is it anonymous?

Dear Ashley,
Could you tell who's the maker?
All the best,
Glauco
