I wonder if your grandson will do an Abandoned video on this some day...
Caviar i would like this comment... but it has 69 likes and i dont wanna ruin that
Giddity.
Caviar 100th like 💁🏻♂️
Has nice views, but I'd expect more for that price. The layout is really weird and limits what you can do with the space and the actual amenities aren't THAT nice. They're good, but should be better for the money.
scorpion3128 yea if I saw this place on a listing I would have guessed it was maybe $300,000 max
Canadian real estate is in a bubble that has being propped up by the Chinese investors. That's the reason why such properties are inflated in prices.
-Reviewtechnow I don't think you understand real estate
Welcome to Toronto!
You should see California prices in a major city it's insane
a 1.2 million dollar apartment with $2 toilet cozies. amazing.
LillyLavine right you are. Tacky and nasty looking. 75% of the price is location, location, location. Don't buy it!
Why the fuck would a window open like that, a baby could fucking fall out of that.
Knightguard1 Not too bright are you?
Jason Hensley How so?
Knightguard1 I fell out of that window at a young age I died I'm a ghost writhing this comment
+Justlogan

Tony T START A RUclips CHANNEL!!!!
$1.2mil for that? I am not impressed at all.
welcome to toronto
As a child of the seventies, I can't help but feel so much joye because "my little Toronto is all grown up!" Amazing view....I wondered what the "Christmas candle building" looked like from the inside. My partner and I own homes in both Leaside and Niagara Falls....it will be fun to say that one can see BOTH homes at once! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the tour Jake! Always such pleasure watching your videos 👨🏻💻
Believe it or not, I like your studio apartment better; it's a very efficient use of space. And the view of the park and trees from your apartment is beautiful.
Always nice to mix things up a little.
If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, it gets stale. I love making Abandoned and Explore, but I want some more variety on things that interest and excite me. Thanks for watching!
I see this building every day from my flat in TO, always wondered what the inside looked like. Thanks for sharing. If you were just here you made it for some record breaking warm weather! I'd expect a bidet as well!!!
geez for that price I'd expect a balcony
Too high.
+Bright Sun
well, the Jeddah is gonna be a km tall and still somehow have a helicopter landing pad that people can stand on.
Bright Sun Films not necessarily, the Empire State Building in NY has an outdoor observation deck and its over 100 stories. The original World Trade Center also had an outdoor observation deck on the roof of one of the towers on the 110th floor
Which is fine for walking out and observing the city in a controlled environment.
Not anywhere you would want to stay for a long time.
Cliff Hartle you don't know me
Had to come as soon as I could when I saw new video! I love your Abandoned videos!! :D
Thanks for coming!
When I moved in to my condo in Toronto with a very similar view, it was impressive to have that view. As I watch this video, with my old view I am reminded of that exact view- and day. Thank you for this brother!
I always wanted a second home in a Toronto high rise. But thanks to your video, the realization hit me that it ABSOLUTELY isn't worth that price tag. Thanks for the tour!
Thanx for sharing Jake!
friday's are my favorite because you post (:
I'm checking every day for your new videos! I love them!
This channel is getting the quality attention that it needs
Country boy checking in. Yeah, It's a totally beautiful view, but for 1.1 million wow, I would live anywhere but there! it would be nice to stay in once in awhile if you have the cash. Great vid either way :) The fact the windows even open is actually amazing.
one of the best channels on youtube
beefyisrare ricer
Gotta stay humble
Another awesome video
Great video as always Jake!
Thanks!
this is great!! thanks for sharing!
Yup that was looking east... I for sure saw my house in Oshawa in this video!!! So cool thanks for sharing.
Courtney Shewan too bad it wasn't facing west and I could see my house in Mississauga
Maybe I'm jaded because I live in the pacific northwest and views like this are not rare at all but that view is not worth 1.2 million. lol. It's not even that nice of an apartment. You can get a nice ass house in Lake Oswego for that much.
cities are much much smaller n the Pacific NW that the east coast. Plus its all about supply and demand. People from around the world want to live here.... nobody has even heard of Lake Oswego lol
Yeah even though I agree with the first comment, there are some people that want this place, but they could improve the layout
well, Toronto is Canada's largest city - it's like the equivalent of New York. There are much nicer condos for just as much, in a shorter building with just as good views. The closer you are to the downtown core, the higher up you are, the more expensive. that's usually the rule of thumb. Also living in an infamous building is expensive too. In Mississauga they have the "monroe" buildings that cost more than most condos in Toronto on the waterfront. Auroa is the largest condo building in Canada - that alone will jack up the price :/
I found a few condos searching online, even closer to downtown for about $400k, also found DOZENS worth more than $1 million, too.
the detached homes just on the outskirts of the city are getting ridiculous. you can get an older home for $1 million...
you can get a nice house in the middle of buttfuck nowhere for a fraction of the cost, yes - but you'll need to commute. i've lived in the GTA my whole life and the 401, main highway into the city, is the BUSIEST in the world. takes on average at least 1.5 hours each way to commute in and out of the city, and that's if you live within 50 KM of where you work. many people will live outside the city, own a car but take the train into work - but since the transit isn't reliable, many people working just outsdie the downtown core will choose to drive.
also, check this out.
condos.ca/toronto/aura-at-college-park-386-388-yonge-st
condos in the building start at $485k - an average price for living downtown. they go up to about $1.1 million, nothing compared to this $7 million... condos.ca/toronto/residences-at-windsor-arms-22-st-thomas-st/unit-11B-C4046779
Same unit 11 floors up is going at 1.4m All about location and views... Pricing in this towers is on par with the city.
beautiful!!
Amazing view
Wow.. incredible view!
keep up the quality content dude! you deserve so many more dubscribers
subscribers*
Wow man! definitely a lucky guy to stay in a place like that, props to you mate. 👌✊
I'm a 10 min walk from there! Gorgeous building.
very cool place for sure.
When you went to the slightly opened Windows I literally got shivers
That rent is cheap, compared to Santa Barbara ! Great video Jake. I enjoy them all.
Very Cool Apartment you don't see anything like that in Halifax that's for sure damn what a view!
Love the view
Night view is to die for!!!
Gey bright sun films keep up the great work also you are on of my favorite youtuber your content is amazing and interesting.
I just stayed in a hotel across the street from this building and seeing it at night is breathtaking
Dear Jesus why are there windows that open on the floor? Were they praying for pet and baby deaths?
Apparently the architect hates cats
I think you can find better properties with that price tag. Yes the view is breathtaking, but the design of the apartment is dubious at best. A bedroom door adjacent to the kitchen?? Also the awkward corner in the living room and another one in the bedroom where you pretty much have to hop over the bed to reach? This is a classic example of architects with a massive ego who design a building to look flashy on the outside without thinking of the living space within.
Here to Another great web series
imagine seeing the view at night time. Ooh you've made me want this..
Amazing view!!! I was so distracted by the horrible furniture and poor decor!!! Million dollar apartment with hand-me-down furnishing!!! How dreadful!! Lol
Enjoyed the video.
+Pinkpolo85 That's exactly what I was thinking.
Maybe they are apartment poor and can't afford anything better.
1.2mil here in sydney aus is pretty normal these days. With no where near that view. I love that view!
I like it!
hey maybe one day you can live here when this channel blows up!
I would love to live in a place like that but I would always have the fear that the building would fall down one day, I could never live somewhere that isn't on the ground, haha.
Nice video!
great place
Anything in life is possible. If you want to live in a million dollar apartment that suits on top of the world, then achieve that stream. You can do it!
I love how our house has all of the amenitys that that apartment has, and its much bigger, AND it costs 400k. You loose the view though, but its 20 minutes from downtown austin!
Also we built it, so its brand new. The neighborhood is called... I wont share that :P
It all looks like so much else. Cheap!
That's actually a pretty good deal compared to many other large cities.
If I won the powerball I would absolutely live in a high rise as opposed to a mansion. The view alone would be worth it.
can you imagine like 1 year later he does an abandoned episode on the aura towers!
congrats on the apartment
Jared Smith/squidkid1353 he said he stayed overnight with Airbnb
thanks
Cool AF!
It's crazy how you went from gaming to this
"Pretty extravagant stuff that I will never own in my entire life." My thoughts precisely!
You have a great channel :)
High rise living is AMAZING! I love it! It's not for everybody though...
Many would prefer a $1.1 Mil house. I get it...
Thanks for the tour. I was wondering what the inside was like but for that kinda money. The view is nice. But really. I personally aren’t fond of condos
I’ve been in the stores underground that building but the stores aren’t that great really
Overall way ti much money for what u get
I'm on the other side in Rochester! Pretty awesome views.
Do a Mervyn's video! I keep watching the Circuit City, Ames and Blockbusters videos over and over! I'm itching for a new bankrupt history video lol
I love how the bathroom looks like a bathroom in your grandmother's house
emm RUclips? where's my notification?
Those are some great #views of the 6
Just a suggestion...an Abandoned episode on Discovery Zone. Seems right up your alley.
One day, this apartment will be yours!
They still haven't connected it to the PATH system which was one of the main selling features and have direct access to the Subway or be able to go to the Eaton Center in shorts in the dead of Winter.
Damn. GTA 6 is looking dope
I got vertigo from the video I can't imagine staying there. Great video though.
Geez that's crazy...
Definitely not worth the money. Horrible layout, small amount of space, Windows that you can drop something out of... you could buy a huge house in Prince Edward County (where sandbanks provincial park is) for that money. Great video anyway.
I recognize the "swanky swag" chandelier (5:48) and the yellow chair (6:39) in the guest bedroom. Both are from IKEA. Neither are monstrously expensive. Oh, and there's one in the master bedroom (7:13), too! :-)
It was fun to play "spot the Ikea furniture" during the video.
Looks pretty small for that price.
But not for the height.
1.1 milllion is cheap for that place! Size. View. Aesthetics. Floor Height. Location. All checked! When you pay $2400 for an old two bedroom 5th floor with a view of Steeles, , this is a steal!
If I stayed in that master bedroom I'd be staring out that window all day and night
A bidet should be mandatory in $1M+ condominiums.
You can keep it... I don't want one
Being deathly afraid of heights, just watching this scared the shit out of me.
same, I was freaking the fuck out
I wouldn't mind staying in this apartment temporarily, but not permanently as I like my feet on the ground for the main duration, plus I love the country and only visit cities once a year. But I would love a desk to do work and look over the city. 👍
Not too shabby my friend, this building went up so quickly and fast starting in 2008 or so, and it is a nice designed building. I'd say tho that the master bedroom should of been facing the CN Tower, and I'd take the 2nd bedroom over the East view.
Nice to see inside a view of an very expensive apartment building! What were the amenities like?
JJ30
Could you see the Bond Place Hotel from that view? It's right near Ryerson.
Crazy
Do a timelapse looking out of the master bed's window. Preferably afternoon to evening
interesting great channel have you ever thought of doing a mine train video? in disney land?
Bright Sun Films videos and The Proper People videos are uploaded on the same day and time is this a coincidence or on purpose ?
As nice as the master bedroom is, I think the view from
the secondary bedroom is much better.
You should move to America its awesome out here!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's pretty, fun, and just great. At least visit it!!!
In Bellevue ( suburbs) of Seattle Washington. Rent for a 724 square feet apt is over $2,000 US dollars a month not included utilities, gas , cable and parking 🌦️🚗🏙️
your next video should be Port Disney in Long Beach
make a video on tombstone Arizona please .
it took forever for this to be built. but it is amazing. I like the lights at night.
I don't think it is worth it. the odd angles and layout don't really work. but fun to rent on Airbnb's.
That’s a $40,000 apartment with a million dollar view.
