    Has nice views, but I'd expect more for that price. The layout is really weird and limits what you can do with the space and the actual amenities aren't THAT nice. They're good, but should be better for the money.

      Canadian real estate is in a bubble that has being propped up by the Chinese investors. That's the reason why such properties are inflated in prices.

    Maybe I'm jaded because I live in the pacific northwest and views like this are not rare at all but that view is not worth 1.2 million. lol. It's not even that nice of an apartment. You can get a nice ass house in Lake Oswego for that much.

    • @orangeradishneo
      @orangeradishneo 6 лет назад +5

      well, Toronto is Canada's largest city - it's like the equivalent of New York. There are much nicer condos for just as much, in a shorter building with just as good views. The closer you are to the downtown core, the higher up you are, the more expensive. that's usually the rule of thumb. Also living in an infamous building is expensive too. In Mississauga they have the "monroe" buildings that cost more than most condos in Toronto on the waterfront. Auroa is the largest condo building in Canada - that alone will jack up the price :/
      I found a few condos searching online, even closer to downtown for about $400k, also found DOZENS worth more than $1 million, too.
      the detached homes just on the outskirts of the city are getting ridiculous. you can get an older home for $1 million...
      you can get a nice house in the middle of buttfuck nowhere for a fraction of the cost, yes - but you'll need to commute. i've lived in the GTA my whole life and the 401, main highway into the city, is the BUSIEST in the world. takes on average at least 1.5 hours each way to commute in and out of the city, and that's if you live within 50 KM of where you work. many people will live outside the city, own a car but take the train into work - but since the transit isn't reliable, many people working just outsdie the downtown core will choose to drive.

      @orangeradishneo 6 лет назад +2

      also, check this out.
      condos.ca/toronto/aura-at-college-park-386-388-yonge-st
      condos in the building start at $485k - an average price for living downtown. they go up to about $1.1 million, nothing compared to this $7 million... condos.ca/toronto/residences-at-windsor-arms-22-st-thomas-st/unit-11B-C4046779

  • @GustavEinarsson
    @GustavEinarsson 7 лет назад +9

    I think you can find better properties with that price tag. Yes the view is breathtaking, but the design of the apartment is dubious at best. A bedroom door adjacent to the kitchen?? Also the awkward corner in the living room and another one in the bedroom where you pretty much have to hop over the bed to reach? This is a classic example of architects with a massive ego who design a building to look flashy on the outside without thinking of the living space within.

    Not too shabby my friend, this building went up so quickly and fast starting in 2008 or so, and it is a nice designed building. I'd say tho that the master bedroom should of been facing the CN Tower, and I'd take the 2nd bedroom over the East view.
    Nice to see inside a view of an very expensive apartment building! What were the amenities like?
