Really useful thank you. Being from Wales, and using Welsh references, the surname Jones comes up a lot, and I didn't understand why the initials were coming up for Jones' in APA style! You have settled my anxiety over this. Thanks again. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Thank you. What about two different works with same author' surname.
Thompson, G - I get (G. Thompson).
Thompson, S - I get (Thompson).
How can I delete the author initial of the first example?
I tried several ways but failed.
