I love walking into model train stores you'll never know what could catch your eyes the most The worst part is that the feeling makes you want to buy something lol I wanted to buy some trains but I first need to plan benchwork and trackplanning before i go to a train store and buy stuff
I have a heap of A scale USATrains, and I got 99% from Charles Ro. Excellent products. Excellent customer service when I had a power supply problem. A good group.
Good to know that Lionel is still kick'n. There's a cool Mc Donald's next to Knott's Berry Farm that has a nice, working train layout on the ceiling! It has a glass case also in the middle with tables around it where you can see another working display. It's really unique. They are larger than "0"scale.
Man that store is fantastic, definitely one of those places I could not take my kid with as either I would spend way too much money or I would have to be the "bad guy" and say "no" a lot of times.
Thanks for showing the isle with American Flyer. They should have had some models out of the boxes on display. I have been buying from them for many years. There are 3 more manufacturers of S gauge: American MODELS, S-HELPER SERVICE, MTH. Some of these are being bought out and others are looking for investors.
Finally after 30 years of waiting. This summer we move into a new home with a basement for my Lionel trains. My grandson loves trains at 5 years old. Maybe our son will allow us to setup his Original Lionel G scale Thomas the Train too. Thanks for sharing
A great big thank you!! Our Bostonian accent can be a love it or hate it. Glad you love it, I do to!! Glad you still have the locomotive and caboose. Thank you for tuning in!! -RTT
I have to tell this story about Charles Ro, back in 1996, i seen some box sets in a ad in classic toy trains, i ordered them and i went out to work on rail gang sunday came back home early friday, the trains were waiting on me when i got home.
That place is my childhood. I've been going there for as long as I've been into trains, and it's where I got my Lionel O-Gauge Polar Express set many Christmases ago, which is one of my absolute most prized possessions. It's been a long time since I've been into Charles Ro: hopefully now that Spring Break is starting, I'll get a chance to go back soon. :D
@@realtoytrains Hey look at that your on your way to 10,000 subs now! I can see your channel exploding soon! Your videos are giving me motivation to get back into model railroading more!

Wow! This is heaven! In Europe, it is rare to get American model railroads in stores in Europe, but they can be obtained online, but sometimes it is also cumbersome. Of course, there are plenty of European railway models in the shops. But I really like American trains.
@@Mike__B The track is as wide as in America. The biggest difference is in the look of railroad cars and locomotives. It's hard to describe, to see. In this video you can see European railway models, including many Hungarian wagons. ruclips.net/video/5Oh2XinDsEg/видео.html
@@javorszkiandras1280 Well one thing that sticks out to me is the electric locomotives as they are practically non-existent in the US, as the US decided diesel was the way for modern vehicles. Also the US really doesn't have much in the way of passenger rail outside of local commuter trains, and any they do have most are going to be double decker, the Euro passenger cars had kind of an older feel to me back when the US was big with rail.
@@Mike__B In Europe, diesel locomotives and electric locomotives are still running at the same time, but diesel locomotives are slowly running only on sidings and in industrial areas.
