Dice Combinations
- Instant win: 4-5-6; 3-of-a-kind; Pair + 6
- Instant loss: 1-2-3; Pair + 1
- Set point: Pair + 2; Pair + 3; Pair + 4; Pair + 5
- Dead roll: any other combination (re-roll)

So, thanks for this, it's by far one of the best cee-lo instructions. However, it was my understanding that trips is not an automatic win, but the opposing player can beat it with a higher set of trips. Also, that an equal trips, pair+6, or pair+1 results in a "push" where both matching players have to double their original bet and roll again.
There are many rule variants. Very common in street dice games.

So, I'm playing this game in yakuza 0, and they have hands that are odd (1-3-5) that i've seen as well. The odd hand was beaten by a 4-5-6 and the 4-5-6 was beaten by a pair+6. I was confused so i looked up this video, and now i'm still confused but less so, so thank you for that.
I know this game involves no real skill, but it seems fun somehow. Thanks for sharing.
most dice games involve no real skill. Farkle at least gives you a little control on what dice to re-roll and when to quit rolling for points. A great dice board game is Can't Stop. It is a press your luck kind of game. Also there is a game called Qwixx you can find at Wal-mart that is unique.
Games that are pure luck can be fun because the intensity of them.

Suggestion: Roll the dice in a cup or bowl, and the results will be random (except when you use Crookies to cheat the game).
Straight shooter and mafia and drop dead are also fun dice games to play to i recommend u play those dice games with your family and friends @@nightbirdmedia
I started playing cee-lo last week. I was shown a couple varients: ones (or aces) high, and any number (including 1 and 6) can be the point (I did the singleton). I see that there are other varients; like a pair (instead of the singleton) being the point, and a lowball varient where the low numbers are the best rolls.

Because of the nature of gambling dice games, there are many rule variants. One called west coast rules sets print by the pair number, not the pair + number.

Rule Variation: Score it as a Musashi (6-3-4).

EDIT: I actually checked my sources and a Musashi is actually equivalent to a Point Six but wins you twice the bet.
Why they call it a Musashi? Any reference to the IJN Yamato-Class Battleship?

@@cipher0328 its kinda like an on'yomi pronunication of the numbers 6-3-4. 6 = mu like in 六つ (mutsu), 3 = sa like in 三 (san), 4 = shi like in 四 (shi)

I also advise dont play with 6 and trips is a automatic win cuz those numbers can be beaten...I once played with 5 people including me 4 people rolled a 1 and I rolled a 123 where I automatically lose where everyone else doubles down

Maybe, depending on how you agree on it.
Most of the time, it is treated as Trips and an instant win. Sometimes, Ace Out (Trips 1) is worth more than regular trips.

What if I as a baker roll pair+4 and opponent rolls same number, pair+4. What happen than? Rolling again?
Thats called a push. you rebet on top of the previous bet then roll again. essentially a double or nothing.

@@Rg-rc5kz Not true..The 2nd player only wins his individual bet with the banker if he rolls 4,5,6...The 3rd player would win his individual bet with the banker too. They both won (broke the bank) and the 2nd player would be the banker for the next round cause he was the 1st one to roll a 4,5,6
where does the point come into play? if the banker rolls a point. does he win if the opposing player rolls a lower point?
Exactly. If the banker sets a point, the opposing players can get a higher point to win and a lower point to lose. “Instant win/lose” combos can also win or lose to a set point.

Not the way we play at all ? Point 1 OR Point 6 is not an automatic loss ! Secondly, the pot is not taken until everybody rolls and 1 person wins the entire pot ! The Rolls are transferred every 3 wins !

I dont like playing with "bank" or "bankers" I rather get alot of people n bet the roll..like everybody throws 5 dollars in to roll highest roll wins...better that way so let's say 5 people rolling 1st person gets a 5 2nd gets 2 3rd person rolls trips 3 4th person rolls a 6 and 5th person rolls trips 5 the 5th person takes the money they game goes faster this way...works even better if you shoot 1st and roll a 456 headcrack I win b4 anyone else gets to roll

It’s a “push.” You leave the bets in the pot, double the bets, and roll again.

He did a decent job but what he didnt say was 4,5,6 is a head crack and now the roller can take bank from banker if he chooses and if the banker rolls 4,5,6 he can cut the bank meaning if the bank if $600 and the banker rolls 4,5,6 (Head Crack) he can now pocket as much of the bank he wants so he can now place $500 dollar in his pocket and Bank will be $100 dollars

What happens when you tie for points?
If they tie the banker's point, then it's a "push", no winner or loser, and the player pockets his stake.

They claim that an instant win is 3 of a kind or pair +6 and that’s wrong. The only instant win is 4/5/6. Instant loss is 1/2/3. Pair + # is the point and 3 of a kind beats a 6
If you’re the first person to roll and you hit 4/5/6 then that’s it, you win and nobody else even gets a chance. That’s the only instant win.
