Takes place until Bond St. (Elizabeth line) station open today.
Wow, there is a hell of a lot of tunnel running. It took nearly 19 minutes of non-stop travelling before daylight emerged. 'It's really quite tragic'. Yes it is. I want a ride on the extended network, but will pick a branch that doesn't spend so much time underground. 😬
The whole line is fabulous and interesting. Enjoy it when you try it
While I dont personally care much for Lizzie Line content I admire the enthusiasm with which you all approach each episode 😎

Elizabeth line crossrail is much better london underground district line & central line to east meet west would say ?

What happened to the rule about numbers in the cabs then? (I know the underground bit is auto but from Stratford it's not). I 'm a retired driver and uased to watch Crossrail being built every day I drove past. Glad I stuck to overground though looks very very boring in the tunnel.
We weren’t all in the cab at the same time. We were all mic’d up but not always present. And for anyone who’s not a train driver the view is exciting. But thanks for watching.

@@uchiajason I won’t be around to see them go for scrap, let alone ride, end of an era once withdrawn, remember them new in 1980/81 on Network South East livery, was a time when I could ride them to Southend, even further.
@@jacksugden8190 i’ve used them for about the last 20’odd years, as soon as the new stock came around i’ve not looked back, it will be sad to see them go, but they’re way too far outdated

We actually squeezed our train into the operating schedule one day this week so the train we pull up behind is full of passengers
How come the signals look so similar to the French TVM 430 Flags. Do the 345s use TVM?
No, CBTC. The "TVM-style" "block" markers seem to have become the "standard" for any cab signalling, including some ETCS (without TVM also fitted) schemes in the world 🤔
