Hi. Could you please recommend a good budget retinol-containing product that a total beginner to skincare can start off with. My main concern is melasma on the cheeks and nose bridge.

Is meceller water ok to remove sunscreen and then use facewash? Or is it essential thay i was balm or oil based cleanser

Micellar water does the job but for deep cleaning to remove everything, make up, or dirt or impurity, a cleansing balm or a cleansing oil is recommended. Go for the balm is better.

Hi!But when i apply this cream i pair up with azelaic acid and niacinamide!Should i not be using these together! And idk why my face got burned when i apply this trenoin cream!I have burning sensation when apply this

Hello ideally Azelaic acid and retinol are a strong power couple together. They highly compliment each other when treating hyper pigmentation, acne and acne marks. And also niacinamide also goes with almost everything. But it's not important to layer so much together. Since there is burning sensation, I strongly suggest stop using it for few days. And when you begin just do retinol and Moisturizer in beginning, then slowing add Azelaic but not more, don't layer too much. Also check which brand you use, or consult Dr. For prescribed retinol. Be sure to Moisturizer a lot. All the best😇💖

First Moisturizer, then retinol, then Azelaic acid then again Moisturizer. Both retinol and Azelaic acid, very very less only pea size OK👍

Do I really need to add azelic acid in my skin care routine for stubborn acne marks ? How many times should I apply retinol in a week ?

Hello, how is your skin now. I wouldn't recommend using salicylic acid in morning and evening retinol. Both are peeling ingredients, if you use it use it in different days

Retinol since its been more than 1 year for you I would say twice a week looks good for you. But please don't over do it in quantity and just use pea size, i presume you might be using too many things on your skin together, it might show reactions, please cut down, less is always more. You need niacenamide for acne marks it works good, and also its something that goes with all other ingredients, even Azelaic acid is good but it's strong and since you have some texture and issues right now too heavy ingredients will be a bad idea💖
