“Hi guys” and the little wave just makes my heart smile 😊 What a wonderful young woman with a beautiful gift. Absolutely love these tutorials as much for the way Samantha presents them as the actual learning from them 😊💗
Hi I watched your video where you explained how to make thin sheets of clay with the sheets with the clay in the middle please tell me the brand of sheets thank you so much
I absolutely LUV the silver leaf technique. Your tutorial is the best. I will be duplicating this soon. The blue and black pendant at the end is fabulous. Did you do a tutorial on that particular piece? I’m guessing the silver rod thru the hoop at the end is for stability.
fabulous.....i loved the idea of that last piece you had shown as a sample, which was the Blue and Black one.....i actually liked the design or the shape of that piece......the shape was unique but with the translucent silver leaf Mokume Gane sheet it looked so cool...... the black side was just a textured piece of clay or sheet right?..... extremely good idea and combination
Just followed this one in the pinata ink colours of teal & sapphire blue & one in chilli pepper with a dash of sapphire blue in it as I wanted it more a blue red then an orange red & purple, and they are awesome so far, I love your work tutorials samantha, when i have some spare money i want to buy a few of your etsy tutorials, are the only written or youtube as well?
Thanks Samantha. Always pretty and clever. I wonder how it is possible that you obtain those curved lines like in a mokume gane without having cut the stack, and made holes etc .. You only cut in half and stack many times .. I thought you couldn't have obtained this mokume gane effect .. Please, could you explain ? ;-)
Love the tutorial! I love the red ones. One question: I am looking for a new acrylic roller. I would like a wide one. Mine is about 8" wide. Yours seems to be much wider. Do you remember where you got yours? I appreciate your help always!
Your tutorials are wonderful. One question: What is your secret to keeping the clay at the same width throughout its length? Mine always get wider when rolling it thinner. Thank you in advance,Shelly
Love your tutorials. Just one question, if you don't have silver leaf paper, can you use fine silver glitter instead? will it achieve the same effect in the end. Thanks again for all the lovely tutorials
I like to use the alcohol ink instead of solid clay in this technique because I can see more of the silver leaf through the translucent layers dyed with alcohol ink.
I noticed you use translucent clay a lot more than normal colored clay. You use alcohol ink on the translucent clay to color the clay. is there a reason why you choose to do that in making your designs?
Yes. I like to color the translucent clay with alcohol inks as the alcohol inks are translucent. So I find it's better to do that rather than color with normal clay as that would decrease the translucence. I also like that the colors it makes more than the normal colors. This is just a personal preference.
I like this technique too and the finished pieces are just beautiful. When selecting your inks do you pick colors that are close to each other? Thanks for sharing this tutorial ☺☺
It really depends what you want. You can have a high contrast in colors or they can be very similar. Either way they look great. It's really up to you as to what you want. :D
Make sure doors and windows are closed and tiny tornados aka toddlers are down for the night before attempting to use silver leaf! Lol 😝 also this technique would make great faux wood grain, minus the silver that is

Wow. I love how organic this looks. Thank you for sharing.
I really like the green ones! Very pretty thank you!
I love the way you have combined the mokume gane silver leaf and watercolour techniques in your pendants. The finished pieces are exquisite.
Oh my goodness! One of your best. Love the end results and the unique pendant shapes too. Truly inspiring!
You're very good at these tutorials. Have been watching tutorials since youtube started and, seriously, you're a natural. Thanks!
It’s like puff pastry, and the silver leaf is the butter! LOL!
I love your work; everything is just beautiful!! ❤️
possibly my favorite tutorial of yours!
Lovely technique! Very well understood and detailed. Thanks for your hard work much appreciated.

I don't have a tutorial for those beads just yet. I'm still practicing the hoop technique as it's a little tricky.

The black side is done using this technique. :D www.jessamatutorials.com/lisa-pavelka-peel.html

Beautiful
I can’t work with Alcohol inks, so do you think I can use acrylic paint instead?
I'm afraid you can't use acrylic paint. You'll need to look at brands of clay with tinted translucent colors such as Cernit or Pardo.
Love the tutorial! I love the red ones. One question: I am looking for a new acrylic roller. I would like a wide one. Mine is about

I do remember that I got it off of Etsy, but I can't remember the shop.
Great !👍

I have a tutorial on this over here. It tends to help me. :D www.jessamatutorials.com/polymer-clay-pasta-machine-width-guides.html

No glitter won't give the same effect. Only silver leaf or silver foil like the one Lisa Pavelka sells.
Why do you use alcohol dye in this one instead of a solid color clay?
I like to use the alcohol ink instead of solid clay in this technique because I can see more of the silver leaf through the translucent layers dyed with alcohol ink.
Very lovely pendants at the end! Is blue your favorite color?? ;)
Yes. Blue is my favorite color. Green is a close second.
Wonderful lesson as always. Will you do a tutorial on the beautiful blue and black pendants you showed at the end?

Cool idea. I might give it a try.
