I love the Bach organ works. I especially love the Taccato, Adagio and Fugue. This person person performs the work very well. Makes it pleasant to listen to.😊
Why is it that almost nobody (except Kooiman and this guy ruclips.net/video/gtRA5aRLyS0/видео.html) plays the fugue in the metre in which it is composed??? It's 6/8, not 3/4, with two, not three beats per measure. Played in 6/8, as Bach intended, it possesses a grand and elegant swinging quality that propels the piece forward, even through the two-beat rests near the end. Moreover, the subject forced into 3/4 conflicts with the harmonic rhythm of the countersubject, which ought to be another clue that something's not right. The only reason I can find to explain this is that organists do not think; they play the way their teachers told them to play. Perhaps Martin will rerecord it in 6/8, and change this. I hope so.
Love the pedal registration switches between phrases. Doubt Bach's genius? Look no further that here. It is all no more clearly laid out than here. There ain't no God? I don't think so. From whence did this perfect creation arise? Image and likeness? God is reported to having made a phenomenal creation. Well them's apples ain't fallen' too far from the tree. Nice try Satan!!!!!!!!!!!

Keine alte Spielweise, sondern legato, damit keine zeitgemäße Interpretation.
