Saw a couple of video reviews on this to replace my aging Tacwise nailer. Your vid was definitely the best and fully comprehensive. So much so, I think I’m going to get one. Thanks.
Great reviews 👍, I've been subscriber for awhile. Went to your channel while doing a "little research". Tired of dragging out a pancake, hose, etc to set 2 pieces of trim and quarter round. Huge waste of time. THANKS for the review, they're succinct, clear, no b.s. 👍👍
Great review. Of all the tool review channels I watch , you are leagues above the rest . You are always more articulate , informative , prepared , thorough and professional then all the rest . I am always impressed with how you put the tools through real tests and comparences. I know as your channel grows you probably get sponsorship deals from certain manufacturers who want a good review . I hope that you can continue to give unbiased reviews regardless of such pressures because that is want the viewers really look for. Just tell the manufacturers that if they want the best review than they need to make the best tools . Let them know that is coming directly from your viewers . kutgw !!!
I just got the 15 guage as it shoots a bigger finish nail. After 500 nails I really like this nailer. It shoots through oak flooring for those close to the wall situations it also gets into tight spots like inside flush wood floor vent areas. The battery lasts all day. At $400 its pricy but of all my nailers from framing to brad I use the finish most of all and no hoses is a really nice feature.
I am getting this nailer soon. Im only hesitating to get it because it doesnt have dr fire lockout. They shouldve added that feature to make this product perfect
thanks a lot for the great review!!!! very professionally done!! to take the precious time to shoot and count all those nails, film and edit the video.... tremendous work. magnificent!!!
Sure Hope You're Checking Out Older Videos!!! I agree that your reviews are heads and shoulders above the rest. I was stuck on which gun to get - now I'm left to choose between the Dewalt 660B and the Porter Cable PCC790LA. Both are winners, IMHO. Got a review of PCC790LA? Can you do a comparison of the two of those??
Great Video. Just wondering if you had to choose 1 nailer. What gauge would it be and would you recommend an angled nailer like in your review or a straight nailer ? Thanks
Hi, can someone tell me how would this go installing architrave around doors and windows etc on my old house that’s around 60 years old and has a hardwood frame?
Awesome video; very informative; (I am looking to purchase one of these; and using utube as 'market research' and this video answered all my questions.) Thanks!
I'm trying to figure out if I got a bad nailer. The motor sounds like metal on metal when I left off the trigger and stops quickly . I also have the dcn692 framer and it is quiet when I let off the trigger and the motor spins for a little bit.
I love it the videos are great 18000 subs congratulations I remember when you had 100 subscribers and now 18 thousand it is inspiring even from tool reviwe chankell Next Is 20000 Subs
Hey, ive been watching all your vids and enjoy watching them. I do need help with choosing which one to buy. It would be my first nailer and i am a diyer. Could you give me an advice which one to go with. Id really appreciate your help!
I’d suggest the Ryobi Airstrike nailers..... especially with Black Friday deals coming up..... you’ll probably get a free battery or something also. As far as nails, use Metabo/Hitachi nails from Lowe’s.... they are way better. And thanks! I am glad the videos are helping you out! Good luck my friend 👍
Real Tool Reviews - thank you for the quick response. Ill definitely take that into consideration. However, money wouldn’t be an issue for me. Ive heard lots of great reviews on this dewalt. My mind is kind of stuck on this particular item. I am kind of person to buy something quality rather than quantity. No offense to Ryobi but i do just want to purchase just one framing nailer. Thanks Again!
im not sure if your new to nail guns but that nail gun definitely leaves marks, the new precision point nail guns are the only ones that don't leave black scuff marks, but good video all together
I would have expected the single shot mode to last longer than the bump mode. Did you say bump mode is more efficient? If so, can you explain that a little further? Thanks and great review.
I am curious, do most companies ship you products to try? Seems like the products you review could add up in price quickly enough. Nonetheless, I cherish your videos man.
+Batrachian I am glad you like the videos! Thanks for watching :) and yes, a lot of the time....however we do review a lot of purchased tools also. Things like this nailer (for example) arrive prior to being available, so reviews and testing can be complete when people are actually researching them online prior to buying them. Here is our disclosure (it explains how things work pretty well) --> www.realtoolreviews.com/disclosure/
I have this gun, DON'T BUY IT, Dewalt astonishingly did not have the forethought to put in a stop fire feature after the gun runs out of nails, so you continue to " dry fire " the gun with no nails in it, this is an epic omission, and the gun jambs all the time, the Riobi 18 gage gun I have for 4 years works flawlessly and stops firing when nails run out, not one issue with Riobi.
Just wait till you use it for 3 months and it won't fire anymore. Then Dewalt tells you ,too bad we can't help you. This gun sucks. Bought 2 both won't fire but the light likes to blink a real lot.
Well Done!! The DeWaltt Users guide sucks it is a 1000 pages long and 999 are in Urdu. the Gingo page is devoted to Blue Booth compliance and Gluten Free Gay Pride.

Excellent review, probably the best review of this nailer on RUclips - thanks!
Of course, I'm way behind the power curve here, but Dude, that was excellent, and very informative. Enjoyed it.
You sold me on how nailer handles. Have been looking for a good review before I purchased item. Thanks and please keep up great work!
Yes it works very well, and no stupid compressor and air lines to worry about
Thanks for the run through, but what’s the button on top?
Your easy to listen to, no goofy crap! Thanks
great review man. I dont watch alot of reviews, but I watched all of this one. Great Job.
i have the 14.4v pod style battery version, still using it daily, new batteries 3ah ni mh but still going fine after 12 years. not bad.
Great vid man as handyman i know this is how things are done and explained 👏
958 nails on a tiny 2a.h. battery is nuts. Thanks for the review
I bought mine today. Love it ! Cheers from Australia
Still the best delivery and scientific test of any channel
Bravo review! You are such an effective presenter. I wish you continued success with your great videos.
Great informative review, it's clear you rehearsed a bit : ) appreciate concise communication
I am getting this nailer soon. Im only hesitating to get it because it doesnt have dr fire lockout. They shouldve added that feature to make this product perfect
Thanks for the video. I'm a newbie when it comes to nailers. I just bought this thanks to you. Can I use any brand 16G nails in this nailer? Thanks
thanks a lot for the great review!!!! very professionally done!!
to take the precious time to shoot and count all those nails, film and edit the video.... tremendous work.
magnificent!!!
Great video! Did you try to put the nail into the wall (from bricks)? I mean for example to nail some floor finish mdf molding to the wall?
You easily make the best tool reviews hands down.

They are already phasing out Porter Cable & replacing with Craftsman...... I’d go with Dewalt.
Great Video. Just wondering if you had to choose 1 nailer. What gauge would it be and would you recommend an angled nailer like in your review or a straight nailer ?
Thanks
lmao, I was looking at one of these today and thought I would hold off until u did a review. Now I must have one! keep up the good work!
Can I hang carside Tongue and Groove with this nailer? My job site doesn't have electricity yet.
impeccable, as always. Jam demonstration was very informative.
... very much appreciated .
Thank you for your time

What's the difference between the Dewalt DCN 660 DI or 660 B? Is it the nailer only vs. the box kit with extra battery, and other extras?
Brilliant review ! 5 stars dude. Im sold
I got this gun but 18v end i registre tool to dewolt website for one year warranty or that mean usa version 20 v higer quality ?
How does this one compare to Ridgid's? Would you recommend one over the other? Thanks!
nice nailer! did you do any testing in hardwoods? my buddy bought a Roybi and it handled inch thick solid cherry base with no problems at all.
Yeah I need to nail intoxicated and through some Brazilian hard wood. The stuff is like steel.
All relevant information given thanks
Can you use Dewalt 15 Guage nails
Awesome in depth review, earned my Sub! Ty sir!
You’re awesome ima get one later today
i have a one of these from the uk and mine has a dry fire lockout,,
Great review, especially the jamb example.
Very good review! 👍

+carl neuman the motor "spools down" like a helicopter once you release the trigger....it doesn't stop instantly. That is normal with this nailer.
I love it the videos are great 18000 subs congratulations I remember when you had 100 subscribers and now 18 thousand it is inspiring even from tool reviwe chankell Next Is 20000 Subs
All on a 2ah battery, really really impressive
+goodall1bay I agree! I was VERY glad that I didnt do the runtime test with a 5.0ah!!
Will you ever come with a review on Dewalt DCN680. CHEERS
Not seen tool only for sale or maybe im just not looking in the right place any advice on this?

Great review. Very detailed, thank you.

Wheres the oak hardwood test
Few sizes of nails can be used?
+Bladimir Orellana Any within the size range.
Bladimir Orellana yes sr I think from 1 1/4” to 2 1/2”
I would have expected the single shot mode to last longer than the bump mode. Did you say bump mode is more efficient? If so, can you explain that a little further? Thanks and great review.
Believe because the motor is already rev-ed up to go, and all you'll do is bump the nail out instead of the motor needing to rev up each time
Great work on the video (audio could be a touch better, but overall very thorough). Thanks.
+Raul E. Fernandez Just got in new wireless mics......hopefully fixing that soon.....thanks for watching!
Nice tool, great review!
What type of nails did you use for your video?
+kevin4968 Dewalt nails
How about 6 months later with heavy use?
Don't buy one. I bought 2 both won't fire and I take good care of my tools.
when dewalt is going to make the 20 volts 18 g nailer
They have one now.
Came here for help loading my finish nailer and was not disappointed. The manual’s instructions were NOT helpful! This vid was.
Dear Santa,.........................
great video, I want one
+Stephen Smith Nice! Smart choice!
awesome tool and video
+Osvaldo Gutierrez Thanks!

I sent mine back because the motor doesn't sound right. Sounds like bad bearings. I have the framing nailer and that motor sounds like a normal motor.
9.0ah battery test, if your arm can take it
Guy should be a professional spokesman.
Michael Mancini I have the 16 gauge Ryobi ,it's a bit bulky but powerful and very reliable.
A case with a handle! who would of thought.
it comes with a soft case now
Helpful video but the garage band noise playing in the background was irritating. Generally, it's better not to include soundtracks in youtube videos.
Yes I don’t use music anymore in them....I agree.
Mail wasn’t set lol
I was turned on by your shop... then I seen the rigid.
Just wait till you use it for 3 months and it won't fire anymore. Then Dewalt tells you ,too bad we can't help you. This gun sucks. Bought 2 both won't fire but the light likes to blink a real lot.
Those lights look horribly placed, they seem to light up everything except the actual point you're nailing.

Sounds weak I’ll stick with Paslode
RUclipsrs please stop with the stupid music
Hahaha....I don’t use it anymore 🤣👍
God why all the fucking detail...just show how it works
