As a furry I can safely say that we DO NOT condone such acts. Me, and many others actively fight against these people.
Edit: Let's pretend that the numbers are correct and that 20% of furries are zoos, already that means the majority of us are against them. Many furries on twitter have some variation of "Zoos DNI" in their bio, and the few zoos that ARE there are quick to get called out and cancelled. Even then, I still find it difficult to believe that the global population of zoos are equal to 5 times the population of the city I live in. I said zoophiles/zoophilla is bad on Twitter and DEAR GOD. It was the most frustrating, idiotic conversation I’d ever had. They tried so hard to disprove me and when I said it was against the law, they said I was wrong because laws can be made from fear, be paid to be made, etc. Eventually I gave up trying to rationalize with them because it was obvious they were set in their opinion/ways (they were very much pro-contact) and I sadly wasn’t going to change that. For your own mental health and braincells, don’t interact with these people. They are far beyond being sane.

A common thing with them is to twist your words and then convince you that the law is law and it doesnt matter, and and animals can "consent based on their body language". Some of them even posted abuse content. Now they want to spread their influence at furry cons. Arguing with these morns is not worth the time as theyll pretty much dismiss your every post or mass report you for "threatening harm against users" even though there was no harm mentioned in the post, but then knowing that twitter is moderated by the algortihm, its safe to say that the site is doomed. Zoos were able to take down a bunch of accounts inculding 1 big (think its called DelusionalTakes L) and they are unstoppable.
