They’re reaching sooooo hard it’s hilarious. I’m from Sweden, been living in the US for 5 years. We’re now experiencing a formula shortage. I have now asked my dad to send me formula from Sweden for my 8 month old. It’s a lot cheaper and healthier. Makes me wonder why I haven’t done it sooner tbh.
Try kendamil. It's in the US now. Great stuff, just a tad pricey. Its at target. That's the only place ive seen it so far, but if anyone has seen it anywhere cheaper I'm all ears.
I’m honestly not surprised. Im pregnant with my second and plan on nursing but have been stocking on EU formula because I KNOW for a fact it’s healthier than the crap the US gives out. FDA is bull and not trustworthy. I take their advise with a grain of salt to be honest.

Kendamil is in the usa at target now if anyone has been looking. Its a great brand from the UK. As long as you aren't stupid and can follow simple instructions, its definitely healthier than american formulas. Its funny, we thought my son had tummy issues because he spit up the american formulas every single meal... Obviously this was incredibly frustrating. Long story short, we switched to just the regular cow milk kendamil and he literally hasn't spit up once lol. Sooo relieved. He also drinks waaaay waaay more of it too. It definitely smells better too. Idk why the american formulas smell so weird.

All one has to do is look at the ingredients of the formulas. All US formulas have soy oil and other cheap oils that are known to cause food allergies.. yet they are approved by the FDA
Hopeless discussions paid by baby formula makers in the US, at a great risk to Dr. Ball's reputation. They haven't even answered the question properly, and gave flimsy reasons as to why they "might not" be safe
I was recommended Nutrameign by my son’s pediatrician. The very first ingredient in that formula is corn syrup solids! I switched my son to the Hipp HA. I translated the box and my son had no issues… it’s not that hard to figure out how to prepare the formula.
*_The EU products are BETTER._*_ The EU have farming practices that are BETTER from an infant standpoint. The only thing that is not met by USA standards is the measurement system. Everything else is way above and beyond their standards. USA manufacturing companies always do the bare minimum to meet the requirements.
European formula is not necessarily “better”, but when a newborn is just starting out, I feel safer knowing that the strictest guidelines were put in place to ensure quality and safety. Heck, it could even be that some American brands are “better” than some European ones, but why would I gamble on a product that (although regulated by the FDA and quite thoroughly tested) has more of a “lenient” approach put in place when created and tested? For that reason alone, I would always pick European formula if I had a choice. If there was no European formula available, I would use American formula.
