    BLACK EYED PEAS ARE A VERY SOFT BEAN AND DON’T TAKE LONG TO COOK! HOWEVER, THEY STILL NEED TO BE SOAKED OVERNIGHT, OR QUICK BOILED AS DESCRIBED IN THE VIDEO!
    BTW; I USED BACON GREASE IN THE BEANS, SORRY IT WASN'T SHOWN IN THE VIDEO! ABOUT 1-2 TABLESPOONS ! IT ALWAYS ENHANCES THE FLAVOR IN BEANS AND LOTS OF OTHER FOODS!
    AS ALWAYS USE YOUR OWN DESECRATION AS FAR AS SEASONINGS YOU MAY WANT TO ADD, OR PREFER! BE CAREFUL TO ADD SEASONINGS A LITTLE AT A TIME TO ENSURE YOUR MEAL WON’T GET TOO SALTY! ADDING YOUR SEASONING LITTLE BY LITTLE IS WAY BETTER THAN ADDING ALL AT ONCE CANNOT BE TAKEN BACK), BUT WHEN YOU ADD SLOWLY YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD MORE TO GET TO YOUR DESIRED FLAVOR!!
