Ducan's a fan of High on Fire, Sleep, and Baroness?! AND actually appreciates Black Sabbath's Vol. 4?!?! More reasons to love Basement and their lovely members
These guys are one of my favourite bands and they're from suffolk which is where I've grown up all my life and that's one of the reasons why I love this band because I can relate to them
Mannequin Republic fuck yes! someone who actually knows milo. I'm from the states and I've been listening to them for years. "Print is Dead Vol 1" is also pretty great! 😉
I use to love being young and saving up enough money from odd jobs to buy a record album or two, browse the record shop for hours. I thought all of those album shops were closed down. In the US most record shops are gone, people buy digital downloads online, no one buys record albums anymore, I don't think they even make 'em, I really miss browsing those record shops!
idk, compared to most of the world, the US has a great record store scene and decent prices (plus shipping isn't expensive!), but you guys are also super spread out and don't have many big centralized cities, so I guess they're hard to get to! My city (Melbourne, Australia), has some cool independent record shops (shoutout to Poison City!), but the prices are much the same way as this video, average for an LP is about $35 usd.
it's depressing and also hilarious how representative the number of charity shops, pound shops and generally shit atmosphere Ipswich is of every other high street in England
+aDancingCookie Be thankful, in US there's one giant Walmart and nothing else, they move in and artificially lower prices for the first two years until every fuckin small shop in town closes, then they got everyone by the balls and jack prices up to whatever they want cause there's no competition left. I wish there were streets full of small shops here.
Why is England so miserable? Serious question. Most of the comments on here are talking about how unhappy the residents are, is it because of the constantly shitty weather?
This is the most accurately British thing I've ever seen. Charity shops, overpriced records and miserable, miserable people.
+Ethan Thomas Miserable people is the case for most of Europe though...
And a pie!
What's that old saying? In England, they're insufferable. In America, they're in denial.
@@Arian545 No
