Mate, can you do a video on reverse parking? I had a job at Palletforce Burton-on-Trent... After unloading I had to park in a waiting bay... my head went on a wobble! 20people watching, 6 or so trucks waiting to pass... Curtains and doors open so rear vis was shit, and spaces where tight. After 4 or 5 shunts a fellow driver offered to park it for me! I accepted! The pressure killed me! Been class 1 since march 23. Like a challenge, but hate pressure!
No need to apologize for the short video Martyn. Good to see the new truck and I hope it does everything you need on your travels, near and far. Take care and keep safe.
Fairplay Mart you always show the same enthusiasm with your truck whether it’s a Edition 1, a Keedwell Truck and this case a 5 year old DAF. Those lights makes a difference loved the LEDs in my car. Brilliant to see as well the company had Sam name put on this truck for you ready as well, what great bosses you got. Looking forward to your next trip, take care out on the roads and Claire too.
Jenko: Every pleasure, in your new DAF and good video! It is a good thing, to meet ex work colleagues and, have a chat! Thanks for all your efforts; both take care.
Nice motor Jenko, you dodged a bullet not running out last week mate, ques were miles long down to Dover! Hopefully they have caught up over the weekend buddy, safe travels 👍
Hi Jenko hope you and Claire are well loved the video and love your truck to its nice and clean you do look after your trucks keep trucking and stay safe mate
Nice looking unit I would possibly sat it was originally Wiggelsworth unit doing European FedEx work , I had one of their 67 plate new out of box , same spec with the air flick on the air kit , air con pod , DAF microwave 480 , and with GN Reg plate too
Been driving rigids for many a year and now but now moved up to class 1 over the last few weeks. Start properly next Monday just hope my reverse stuff comes together because it’s totally different for sure!
Hi Martyn the truck looks good inside and out, I suppose loosing the weight of that mid axle will make it good for bigger fuel tanks which will come in handy on the continent. Great vlog really enjoying them and you look well and chipper, all the best.
Hi Martyn, those bulbs are a definitive improvement!! Could you possibly point me in the right direction where to purchase them from? If you have a link that would be great! 😁👍
nice one Martyn, short and to the point. the DAF looks nice and clean and tidy. the new bulbs look good we can probably see you now on the dark mornings when you wake up so happy days yes. sounds like a good plan for next week so safe crossing and looking forward to watching another Paris trip. best regards to yourself and Claire, hope she enjoys her girlie weekend, stay safe 👍

Really looking forward to this Euro work Martyn! What was their reason for dropping an axel, One less axel on the road to pay for in France? Really look forward to future videos

Hi Martyn, great video as always , there is no need to be sorry about a short video, i like your videos short or long , have a great weekend with Claire and the family 👍👍👍🚛
Truck looks good. What effect will the 4 x 2 have on your loads as opposed to a 6 x 2? Should be lighter, so give more load capacity? Will it potentially cause problems with axle loads?
There’s a 40ton limit in most European countries so there no benefit to the extra weight of a lift axle, also in most countries you get tolled based on how many axles you have so it’s more expensive tolls too
Will your sisters name be added to this one like the last one as know that meant a lot to you ❤, tbh that would be my first question when swapping trucks, also if lots of wknds away how’s Claire feel about it, this does feel like the dream company and job you have been searching for.
@@TruckerJenko fantastic news mate, so hoped Sam would travel with you, much love and you know u can have the companies with the fancy new edition one etc and then you get the family companies and you know in your heart you’ve made the right decision, onwards and upwards
Btw I enjoyed this length of video more, doesn’t feel too long and just right, follow your journey without it feeling like a film if that makes sense..
Mate, can you do a video on reverse parking?

Hi. Can you please tell us why some tractor units have 3 axles and others have 2 axles.
Really looking forward to this Euro work Martyn! What was their reason for dropping an axel, One less axel on the road to pay for in France? Hi Jenko , Tidy yolk butt , is the change to a 4x2 because of the road tolls in Europe ?
The truck looks great

I know parking is all about positioning, trying to figure it out...
enjoyed the vlog great video hope they put your sisters name on it like your truck
yes mate its already on there
Nice one Jenko lovely truck mate
It does not matter about the lenght of your videos they are enjoyable hope Clarie is fine
and me
Hello Martyn you having you're sisters name put on the new truck
Is the switch to a 4x2 due to the axle tolls on the continent?
Hi jenko. Love the new truck. Will they be putting your late sisters name on the front like they did too your other one? Wolfie
Already on there buddy
Who made your light bored in the cab ? I like it
JB Logo's buddy
Nice motor
Truck looks good. What effect will the 4 x 2 have on your loads as opposed to a 6 x 2? Should be lighter, so give more load capacity? Will it potentially cause problems with axle loads?
4x2 max weight is 40T rather than the 44T on a 6x2. Load over the driving axle on a 4x2 is also less weight than than a 6x2
Nice truck mate.
You said you were supposed to shipped out Thursday but thought you said you got your medical Today ? Might've been wrong
Was last week buddy
@@TruckerJenko ok thanks bud. Must've missed a week. Sorry my mistake
Fist class vlog as usual. love the new truck. Will you be able to have your sisters name on it.
Already on there buddy
😊😊😊😊😊
Why do all the international trucks are 4x2 is it so you can have bigger fuel tanks and do you run at 40 tons over seas 👍
4x2 are usually for used for lower trailers because European bridges are lower the blighty....they run at 38 t.
@@stum8374 cheers I don't know much about international haulage
It was worth your while taking the Risk of packing in the job with the last shower of cowboys wasn't it 🤣
Please can you say why a 4x2 is preferable to a 6x4 for European work? thanks, Peter.
There’s a 40ton limit in most European countries so there no benefit to the extra weight of a lift axle, also in most countries you get tolled based on how many axles you have so it’s more expensive tolls too
