People like old games, always have, always will. They still make maps and mods for Doom, a nearly 30 year old game.
The main issue with the set of Trait mods is that the mods are likely to conflict with the other mods you already have in the game, and well, I have a ton of mods in the Downloads folder. Another big issue for me is that the Traits will just clog up the Inventory. My Sims usually have stuffed inventories, filled with purchased items and harvestables and aspiration rewards and career rewards. I tend to stuff the inventories with junk to save space in the house.
So, instead of using the Traits Project mods, I just use the set of traits provided by Ledesia. That one is just a text-based system. No mod conflicts. No cluttered inventories.
Can you explain this a bit more? I’m interested in the trait system but also don’t want to break my game with a ton of mods.
I have plenty of other mods and trait mod and the mod creators extensively go over conflicts and often times make compatible patches

Wow, thanks so much! Didn't even know about this mod, but this is super interesting. Can't wait to try it out. Maybe you could make some game plays to show how this mod improves characters. And do you have it installed when playing your challenge sims? I wonder which traits Joy and Curtis have.
I do have it installed, but I forgot to generate traits for them! 😂 That's also a thing why I thought about making this video, haha.

Love this video! I've recently been thinking about downloading the traits mod for my game and this made me even more tempted to do so!

I heard the mod is very buggy and there is a lot of conflict associating with it, some that could be an easy fix
I didn't have issues with it so far, and I've been having it in my game for a while, also for conflicts there is a whole thread linked on the mod's page, and most of them can easily be fixed by installing the traits mod last :)
