Even after all these years I'm stunned how much TS2 is still loved by the community and how many amazing mods are there. Thanks for the vid, it was very useful!
The main issue with the set of Trait mods is that the mods are likely to conflict with the other mods you already have in the game, and well, I have a ton of mods in the Downloads folder. Another big issue for me is that the Traits will just clog up the Inventory. My Sims usually have stuffed inventories, filled with purchased items and harvestables and aspiration rewards and career rewards. I tend to stuff the inventories with junk to save space in the house. So, instead of using the Traits Project mods, I just use the set of traits provided by Ledesia. That one is just a text-based system. No mod conflicts. No cluttered inventories.

i wish you would cover the proper collection installation 🙈🌻 i would def pick the collection version over cluttering the build/buy mode😸sadly hb didn't mention on their page how to do it and i am very new to cc, that is, i know how to carefully put stuff in the downloads folder thanks to your guidance💖😸
I didn't have issues with it so far, and I've been having it in my game for a while, also for conflicts there is a whole thread linked on the mod's page, and most of them can easily be fixed by installing the traits mod last :)

People like old games, always have, always will. They still make maps and mods for Doom, a nearly 30 year old game.

Can you explain this a bit more? I’m interested in the trait system but also don’t want to break my game with a ton of mods.
I have plenty of other mods and trait mod and the mod creators extensively go over conflicts and often times make compatible patches

I heard the mod is very buggy and there is a lot of conflict associating with it, some that could be an easy fix
