Oh my God, I used to live in the Pacific Northwest in the late 70s and early 80s and I can attest to seeing Jeremiah’s everywhere! thank you Panos for confirming this.
Panos if you read this please know Im obsessed with your films I've watched rainbow and mandy hundreds of times and I cant wait to watch them again as soon as they end please dont ever stop making films
you must be excited for his next film Nekrokosm. I don't think I've felt this excited for one in years because I know to expect the unexpected with him.
Mandy was a film that blew my anconi socks off in the same way that my first viewing of a Clockwork orange did. A totally unique cinematic trip Looking forward to all future projects from Panos
It's so inspiring to watch a director who has such a clear, unique vision, I am so excited for his next movie and hoping it will be playing near me, but if not I am willing to take a roadtrip to a theater where it's playing.
Hearing Starless and Bible Black at the onset of Mandy really brought me back to high school days. Everyone who was so-called dabbling in black arts was very attracted to this band. I think it was such an appropriate song to be in this movie.
Starless also goes perfect with the entire plot. He made a Kubrick style movie (intricate/intellectual) you could figure out with a couple of good hints - when I figured it out, it erased any campiness I might have seen before - now I see a manifesto of sorts based on good key points.

How much drugs was involved?
@@2ndPigeon no drugs required. His films are excellent.
I'd love to see what he would do with an unrated Blade Rkunner flick. MadMax II has a ring to it..just saying
I hope you enjoyed his episode of Cabinet of Curiosities: The Viewing.

My favorite new director. I love his worlds. The Heavy Metal style animation was great.

A few shots seemed pretty
Inspired by clockwork orange too!
the manic laughter stuff is not surprising. intense laughter then immediate straight face
It's deeply upsetting
Yeah, we are kinda ready for a new Panos masterpiece. Hope we can experience something soon before it's too late 🙌
Did you watch the episode he directed for Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities?

His dad is George P Cosmatos who directed a really good horror film called Leviathan
His father directed Cobra.
Everything now makes sense.
this man is the chief for the new era to come.. i believe in him.. like the second kubrick has risen almost
Absolutely great potential
No one will ever truly see ‘Mandy’ unless youre on LSD, a real masterpiece and evil as fuck!
Isn't how the Black Skulls came into being?
OMG is the interviewer Slavoy Žiźeck?
hahahaha
He is missing the part where Slavoy spits, sneezes and blows his snows into his sleeves.
