Gail was such a lively and fun character in her early years. Great double acts with Tricia Hopkins and Suzie Birchall. And then a still much loved trio with Suzie and the great Elsie Tanner. A lot of newer Street fans will associate Gail with tragedy and misery (Richard Hillman, David's antics, failed marriages etc). But that wasn't the case in the 70s. I'll always remeber Gail Potter as the chirpy cheeky kid in the big fake fur coat. Good luck with whatever you do, Helen.
