He would have nothing to say. Every time he opens his mouth he spews lies. He would not be allowed to do so. He would be demolished if he took the stand. Trump understand this and only says he is going to testify because that is what he always says but never delivers. The only case he took the stand, is one that he had already lost and was for damages. He then spewed lies for 5 minutes before the judge cut him off. He wouldn't get 5 minutes in a criminal court.
I don't think DJT has been "innocent" since he was a week old. He's so used to getting away with ridiculous violations of common understanding that it never occurs to him he can't or shouldn't.

He gets more pathetic with each passing day. The GOP has dug itself into such a deep hole over the last 7-8 years and they just keep digging. My former party is unsavable at this point, and it will take at least a generation to overcome. Quite possibly two generations.
