My Guild in MK calls the colosseum the toilet bowl. lol which is a shame as I have seen it in real life & it deserves better. Inno should change the rewards for it.
I agree!!! I felt the same way after the Notre Dame Fire!! Inno should give them each a little boost to be more appealing and more helpful to smaller players. 😍 Just add attack onto one and everyone will build it lol. 😂
Seed Vault produces a boatload of diamonds over time in higher ages. You should give it a chance. 🙂
Mine is level 72 now on Space Age Titan. And it's true. Gives 50 diamonds, goods of your current age, military units and the usual (medals, coins, supplies, etc.). Furthermore, with the inclusion of auto aid, this building is wonderful.

I disagree on the oracle of Delphi. It's a good thing to have even at least until the HMA. If you level it enough, you can have a good number of supplies in a small footprint. I actually have never gotten rid of it and will go to LMA soon when all of the trinity gets to level 10.
Absolutely true, and even better if you can get an HC in your city early on, then supplies will never be a problem.
It's a shame about the Coliseum, when I got started playing almost 10 years ago, and the furthest you could advance was the Late Middle Ages, at that time, it was a good deal. Definitely doesn't hold up once you're in the high levels.

@@LilianatheMagnificent Thanks! I wasn't aware there were any FofE channels on YT. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known it was possible to eliminate a GB. I ditched my Coliseum and replaced it with two of my botanical rotundas I had in storage, making up for the lost happiness, plus more space and a combat boost to boot.

The SV acts like a mega wishing well and if you mopo every day it's worth it. I see you have wishing wells in your city so for you it would be worth it if you will level it up. Consider...at level 10 you have a 2.9% to get a reward for all your mopos. You neighborhood has about 75 people, your guild up to 80, and your friend list 140 = 295 possible mopo...but considering duplicates (a friend and in your guild or neighborhood) lets use 250 per day. That means at level 10 you get about 7 collections (2.9% x 250)...so, it's worth 7 wishing wells for a lot less space. Now at level 75 it's 11.61% x 250 = 29 collections or equal to 29 wishing wells. At level 100 it's worth 40 WW (15.98% x 250). The bottom line is if you aid consistently and like the rewards of a wishing well then get the SV and level it...you will get rewards for something you're already doing.
The town above is my baby/secondary world. I am turning it into a diamond farm because I don't have time to upkeep it unfortunately. I have no seed vault prints in that world.
Definitely a helpful video. I think the reasoning of “other players don’t use this” isn’t a great justification not to build it yourself. All the other info is spot on. Thanks for the vid.
Honestly, any player can build any building they like, that's the beauty of the game! 🥰
I hear you. That's what I was thinking when I fist built the Capitol. It's a beautiful building and it took me about a month before I caved in and tore it down. You can learn from your own mistakes, of course, but the wiser folks learn from other people's mistakes.
Actually Liliana you don’t need a Lotus Temple because of Chateau. Chateau is objectively better than both SMB and Lotus combined. If you need coins, you can cycle for them and make more from Chateau on top it’s coin production. Also Inno is constantly releasing event buildings that give coins anyway. Chateau is the only coin related great building anyone will ever need because it’s also a must have for quest cycling.

@@LilianatheMagnificent that is assuming you haven’t already collected already. I also see no reason as for why one needs to collect a whole bunch of coins other than they’re spending it forge points and that is a sin.
I'm glad you didn't say anything abd about the Star Gazer. I need previous era Goods and I'd like to have a Star Gazer to supply that need.
I love the Star Gazer 🤩 I didn't build it till GBG started a little over a year ago. I didn't need it till then.
one building i think should be added to your list is the hagia sophia. jmo
It's an easy to level building for sure and provides forge points but I left it out because of the square footage it takes up. It would be next on my list though for extra credit lol. ☺️
HS is easily the biggest mistake from New players. They think it's good because they need FPs but it's way too big and late game city collection is not how you make FPs. Even worse is many old players who started before the Arc have it. If you had one 80+ i get not wanting to tear it down but the space is better used for atk.
I'd also mention in Saab many do need Habitat because Inno isn't enough population. Very late game situation and new ppl still shouldn't build it.

Seed vault procs all the time for me. I love it. Lots of goods and diamonds. Players are missing out.
I want to get one now that I'm all grown up lol 😆 hard to come by bps for it.
I did the math on it today and it works out to about 3.3 diamonds per day at level 10, about 8.5 at level 50, that's not worth it for me, but I can see other people wanting that. The coins, medals, and supplies aren't worth it and goods are way easier to come by with truce tower or CF. I'll pass on that one.
I disagree on the Virgo Project. The multiply factor changes every twenty levels so at level 42 you can use it five times instead of three.
It's pretty to watch the bombing. I want to hit record levels with mine . It's fun.

If you can get an LoA fairly quickly, you don't want to build Delphi. I built Delphi for the quest that gave 20 FPs and immediately deleted it.

Absolutely! Especially if your guild wants to be involved with guild battlegrounds. Siege camps and watchtower's require guild treasury goods to place and with those buildings in place, you can potentially do more battles without taking attrition, so it is worth it. My guild has actually made an Observatory requirement now that everyone in guild has a level 80 Arc.
ok so from 1:30 - 1:53 , The reason you obtain this reward is ONLY because you've been contributing FP (forge points) to GB on a daily basis. I learned that the more you contribute FP to GB (Great Buildings), the higher your reward will become. Thats awesome for one person!

@@LilianatheMagnificent But here's my question though. Ok so from 4:29 about the capitol, My opinion is it's necessary to keep your supply's and coins to at least over 1k from HMA and up. It's a needed thing because it gives you 3,000 supply's every 24 hours. It gives more when you level it up?? Explain for me pls?
Bouild CDM and together with Zeus/Aashen live them to level 10. Actually any reason legend to level 10 except relic it manages at low level about 3 until you can lift it high so it works properly. But if you stick with the 3 war buildings to level 10 then you start with the ark running only it to level 80 or to 100 if you are very active then you take all war buildings at least to level 71 then all fp build CC,AO,Himej and Alca,inno,terracotta,CF remember note and run the right for resources Babel must out one of the non-building

Hi Lil, what's your opinion regarding LoA vs RAH? Both have supply boost and produce goods, RAH has bigger footprint and bigger boost & goods.
LoA is better than RAH if that is your interest, I have both because I like the goods 🥰
the deal castles main point for building ist for city defense. the medals are support. you go to the way of warrior so yo not brought the Royal albert Hall, but Traders build this for support of goods. the habitat and the inovation tower a good for publik. then you need now on this 2 buildings and not buildings more future times.
Correct about the Deal Castle but you don't need it if you collect your city on time, then no one will ever plunder you, they can attack you all day and night with empty rewards. Yes, I have kept my RaH in my main world because I like the goods! Habitat is useless if you have the Inno Tower and a bunch of special event buildings. 🥰
These peeps look familiar.🤣 Deal or no Deal, I only went ahead leveling mine to 80 instead of trashing it since I thought there was a new PvP Arena coming out before Inno nixed that. All in all since I'm in the end game I'll keep it but I agree proceed with caution on that-a one. Excellent analysis Lili, except I do enjoy building an Oracle just for fun occasionally!

@@LilianatheMagnificent you know it! I’m not going to sugar coat that lvl 80 pile in my city called the Deal anymore, however I do believe at some point Inno will make city Defense relevant again in some way or another. For now I’ll just lather my snowy balls in the daily medals I collect from it.

I have a level 70 Deal and SBC in one city, and almost every single hoodie that attacks gets sent home in defeat. The deal raises your defending army's attack and defense. Defensive attack is hard to raise and is crucial for defending. Just by themselves, those GBs aren't the greatest for defense, but coupled with lots of watch towers and tacticians towers at level 2, carousels, and ritual flames, it's absolutely awesome! By the way, I'm in FE and use 2 hovers, 4 railguns, and 2 turturrets (OF troops) for my defense. I absolutely wreck attackers, even those with high attack. If they get through, they lose most of their army. My current defensive attack is around 300% and defensive defense is around 850%. I like watching others fail when they attack me.

Well I couldn't find any useful source about Seed Vault on internet. But I built one on my city. Got some diamonds eventually at level 8, once every 3 weeks I can say. It's nothing, but also other very good GBs give you nothing on low levels (HC, BG, SC, for example). Maybe on higher levels it can be useful. All the other rewards are useless, when you have a CF on high level (mine is at 80 already). I'll see how it likes the SV at 80. It's hard to tear it down after pay expensive goods for it.
I completely agree!! Some commenters have been saying they really like it. It's hard for me to come by bps for it and that's why I have not built it yet or even realized if it was good or not. It maybe beneficial in the long run to have it. 🤷♀️

Just to add about the SV. If we go only by goods and pick the numbers. At level 80 the chance to trigger it is 12.5%. So, I have 210 players to aid, between friends, guildmates and hood. It means that 26 times I'll get something. Taking in consideration that 1/3 of the bonuses are supposed to be 20 goods, usually 8 or 9 times a day I'll get this reward. So, if we round numbers it means an average of 175 goods a day. Is it good?
Well, comparing with sleight builders you would need 66 squares to get same income with 11 sleight builders. And SV can't be plundered. By the other hand, in my case the sleight builders are all source of previous era goods, and SV will always be current era.
Now, in comparison with HC and CF, SV is way inferior. A CF at 80 gives you 30 goods more than a half of the times you trigger recurring quests. As I pay a lot on 1.9 thread, I easily get more than 500 goods a day with CF. If you're someone with patience to pay 100 fps and complete Mandrubar quest several times, CF can give you thousands of goods, everyday.
HC is awesome. And you get the best of it at level 58, in the middle of sweet levels. And goods are not even the main thing of it. SV can't compete with HC.
In resume, I'll raise it because I have already built. But, if somebody ask me, I don't recommend build it. I'll see if diamonds come often at 80. If they don't, you're completely right and this GB is a waste.
happy gb don't build happy is so easy to get. unless it has something we need like forges. Any building that makes forges build. We get happy from roads. A regular marketplace would do fine. the monumental graveyard is just too damn big and 2k happy is just overkill
Lol I have been an oddity for quite sometime, for over a year I could never get my city enthusiastic bahaha finally fixed that problem.
The Seed Vault Has been solid choice for a GB for me as it brings in a ton of goods per day and they are current age one.
but on the other hand mine is at level 89.
Those prints are exceptionally hard to come by, very few have them in my world. 😓
The only one I generally disagree with is the SV.

Oh so I got to CE right? And I fell for that oh you can get OF units in CE(Pshhh yeah if you skipped every tech you could skip on the way up) but by trying I ended up in FE! But the GE was a pain so I just went up to AF! Much easier! But I've gone from PE in September to almost to the Harbour in AF in a couple months! But ick the winter event is terrible! But good video! I love my SMB! I've got the HC at 45 now, just need prints! I haven't gotten Z or CoA to 10 yet but my AD4AA is 349/209 lol. Cheers!

I’m confused about the medals. Don’t build a early game item because there is a later game item that is better? I can’t wait till later game as I have no room so medals are really critical.
When I started my 2nd city, this one here, I made sure The Arc was one of my first great buildings that I placed. I joined a guild that helped me obtain the prints for it by taking 5th spots on other player's Arcs via a 1.9 thread. Once you have it any 1-5 spot you earn will reward your extra medals and early on you can quickly gather a ton of medals for expansions very quickly. I hope this makes sense. 🙈

How about LoA? Im in EMA, and not sure if I should build it or not.
I love the LoA, I have it in both of my cities, if you are after goods, it is a great one but not immediately necessary if you don't want to go that route. ❤️
I've just built St. Mark's, but a guild mate said it is a waste of time when you become more advanced in game. I'm in HMA and I pretend to stay in this era a bit longer... I thought this GB would be a nice boost to my coin production, since with said coins I can buy forge points. So, what are your thoughts, is St. Mark's worth it?
If you take it up to level 10, you should never have a coin shortage problem ever, not even in the Mars and Asteroid eras where quests and techs cost millions of coins. You can also buy a load of fp's with coins and hardly make a dent in the balance. All the best.
It is an absolutely crucial great building when it comes to recurring quests. I will never, never tear down the St. Mark's. Here is more information about it:

St.Marks is on my top 10 list of "must have" GB. Leveling it a bit, you can easily buy 20k Forge Points with the coins this GB is yielding, without getting any coin shortage ever. Many players who consider St.Marks a waste, in later ages reconsider and build it.
Virgo was one I keep saying I am not getting but then I like the chance to drop half of the attackers. at level 22 it works over half the time. but only 4 times. I doubt I will ever get it. I keep thinking the amount of FP to get it up to that level would raise a 60 level buildings to 80.. And no more space taken.

@Liliana, the way you pronounce Himeji is hee-MAY-gee, with the soft "g" as in giraffe. If you want to sound a bit more like a native Japanese, the 2nd syllable would be pronounced "MEH" and you would try to give that 2nd syllable only slightly more stress than the other two. I've actually been there, as I lived in Japan for a few years.
In Japanese, the letter "i" is always pronounced like the "i" in the word "machine." And the "e" is always pronounced like the "e" in the word "let" or "get." "J" is always pronounced like the "j" in "jelly."
And I'm not even charging you for language lessons!! lol

Lol, let me share one more secret of pronouncing Japanese. All Japanese words are built on syllables, and all syllables are either a vowel, a consonant-vowel combo, or the letter "n".
So "Mitsubishi" can be broken into mi-tsu-bi-shi. "Honda" is ho-n-da. "Sushi" is su-shi. "Sayonara" is sa-yo-na-ra.
There are only 5 vowels. Their pronunciations are:
a : ah (father)
i : ee (machine)
u : oo (goose)
e : eh (get)
o : oh (Ohio)

This is my baby city. I have a main city that is much bigger. The guild I'm in is super supportive though which majorly helps.

If a young player can get their hands on it, I would say go for it
But I do think all players should take it down once they have Himeji Castle
I like your advice! Definitely, some players may not see an HC for quite a while if they don't have a supportive guild or know of a goods trader and finding the prints can be difficult if they don't have help from someone!
? Not about this video, but why does the Daily Challenge recognize Arc goods that go to the guild as "donations" and not the Obs goods?

Thing about Medal buildings is, there's an upper limit on medal utility (there are only so many Victory Expansions). So, a theory:
why not go crazy with Medal buildings, stockpile Medals, buy out all the Victory Expansions, then tear all the Medal buildings down for good once all the Expansions are out?
That way, instead of not having enough space for all the good stuff, you'd have a lot of buildable area, and a lot of big buildings that you can then clear out of the same, without really losing much in terms of functionality.
Again, it's a theory, and probably a bad one. I'm just basing it on the premise that newer/more casual players might well have no idea what a 1.9 thread even is, much less how to properly use one.
Medals are crucial and expansions for the space. The hard part is victory towers give such a small amount and only once per week. Incredibly useless. Then the time to dump fps into medal GBs enough to see a difference in return is so small as well. My hope is that these small new players would find helpful and knowledgeable players to help guide them so they can be successful early on. ❤️
@@LilianatheMagnificent But Victory Towers DO automatically update: slow, true, but you don't need to dump 1Up or Ren kits on them, and they're passive, which, for medals, is nothing to sneeze at. Scare up an upgrade, output doubles, and the return is certainly steady enough; for a few straggler squares, why not?
Sure, even a Level 1 Colosseum is more efficient for a while, but great oogly moogly, that FOOTPRINT. 😖 Short term, sure, they're not great, but they are mobile, and they do add up, especially as you advance.
And if you happen to draw a few of them with Level 2 kits early on, you will notice the expansion space.
No, they're not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but they're not useless, either. Don't go out of your way for them, but if you get 'em, use 'em.

I'm no expert at foe, but I say colliseum is a must 😝. It is important that a new player builds it first and than spends every fp leveling it. I never built mine, and don't have plans to build it in the near future but I see error in my ways 🤣

9:35 So you're saying the BPs you get randomly (from motivating/polishing) is based on how many people on your server have that building?
Otherwise, you saying you have so few prints makes no sense. (or, that you have so few, because there are so few people who have that building to invest in, so you've not invested in it often)
I get most of my bps for great buildings (GBs) through the 1.9 thread and earning a 1-5 spot a person's GB. Why I don't have many Seed Vault bps in my main world is because very few people have built it so I cannot invest and earn a spot on theirs in order to get the bps to build it myself. I find you get very few needed bps through aiding and motivating. I hope that helps. 🙈

However I was curious about the virgo cause I never understood why people built that, turns it that while eventually at lvl 80 you can get it to 5x 69.45% chance, id say still not worth it as it would take millions of fp to get there.

I think I used to have it, but nowadays with power creep I do not think it is worth it, especially if your like me and forget to aid! The chance for diamonds could always be useful, however like the virgo I see it as a waste of space.

I went against all said advice and built Virgo Project! On my server it just made it that much harder because of how few there are! But with only one lvl 70 in Y, 45 is the cap! As 5 charges is most! But what do you do when you're maxed out on attrition, Virgo allows you too get in more fights! But I finally had my Kraken and Virgo Project do the buddy buddy blow away thing! As when both are active you can get half the units to take a vaporization shower and after the 4 are gone then WHACK! Kraken takes out another one leaving 3 lol! But I see a bunch of Frauenkirche De Dresden! Aka the bottle lol! The RaH is like LoA but bigger! Who doesn't have a supply production building! But I love the unrefined goods now that I'm Undahhhh Dahhh Seaaaaa! I'm still scratching my head on the aerial units underwater lol. TA is going to be good PvP! But When will you era up? I was just curious as I found CE to be a great sniping hood era!

10:20 , Like i said Lil! Don't tell the snipers! And this is great. I never built Notre Dame or any of the other garbage buildings, the only mistake I made which was in my main world in Birka, was Colosseum. I was 5 levels in, waste of space. Got an Arc going not long after.

RFP is a really good GB for finding blueprints of buildings that very few people have built. It's also the best goods GB in FOE.
Whilst a level 80 Arc will give you the blueprints of any building you contribute to, a level 80 RFP will give you 4 BPs every time you aid someone in your social bar (including more RFP BPs!), without the need for contributing FPs elsewhere that you could be spending on yourself. No more waiting 4 years for a seed vault!

Truce tower is not worth because it is cheaper to buy 2k of each SAAB resource like to buildit it to lvl 10...
Lol 😂 I like Dresden for the goods and happiness. I need the happiness and I like the goods but I know more people are focusing on attack boosts over goods now... I feel the same about the TT. I personally hate waterfall trades and avoid picking them up because they drain my stock... I would rather just trade a player 1:1 or 2:1 the era they need. St. Basil is on the fence, not needed for defense if you collect immediately so I could get on board with that but maybe Inno will do something with PvP tower still. 🤔 Love the discussion!
I know that you like discussions. Building anything for defence is not worth a single pixel in any city. The best and only defense is to collect in time. This game is only about attack. Everything other is a side thing or not-worth-to-build think.
And for goods you only need Arc an CF. Goods buildings which are producing goods three eras before are also not good choice for advanced players. Only it is worth in guilds with weaker players to put that goods to guilds treasury ;)

@@LilianatheMagnificent He makes a good point, St. Basil's is completely useless nowadays. I posted an in-depth analysis on FoElite's video on the Galata Tower you might check out, Liliana. It shows the true value of attacking, defending, and plundering and why the only defensive building you should ever own is the GT. Plus, for goods hoarders like you, it gives goods as well, so it's a win-win.

well I say blacksmith don't build ever. You look kind of small for 4 years playing. a lot of great buildings and not much else. What unit will traz make without military buildings. GBg is so good at leveling guild and you get forge points
Lol yes to blacksmiths for satisfying events quests during special events. They are small and you can delete them as productions are needed. Lol I take my time, I don't feel the need to rush to SAAB, I like to camp... My GBs are high level and I have special event buildings mixed in. If you have no military buildings in your city then your traz will not produce anything. Absolutely true about GBG. 🥳
