i know this is super outdates but the game is still alive. I'm doing my first run now and I am in LOVE with this.
something i notice that may really make some of you connect more with this game and the comments about its "average/bad story." Which could be true but
If you think about it.. The lobby music representing "enjoying life and sitting back" contradicts the goals of Team Flare, destroying the world and stuff. Ending life and Creating life, also represented by the two legendaries of X & Y. :))
Such an underrated soundtrack... Sadly everyone passed the gate really fast and didn‘t listen to this amazing creation. :/

Not unless you open the menu and sort something out. Same can be said for route 1, where its literally a straight line with no npcs in the way. 😁

i really miss gates. they really have their own special charm to them! it's like a nice breather before moving forward into the tunnel, uncovering a new unfamiliar land. my first ever pokemon game was pokemon white, and i remember loving their gate theme as well! i'd always stroll along to hear the music longer.

These gates were magnificent. Whilst also acting as a brief break in tension/plot it also makes you question what lies beyond the tunnel.
Funny enough, a lot of people blast through the gates without listening to the relaxing music or talk to the various NPCs lmao
I mean to be fair, Sun and Moon's Ferry Terminal serves as replacement of sorts, having a theme that sounds similar to what it would be if gates were in Alola.

I guess this is nostalgic now. I remember playing the game in 2013 when I around 15 and I really enjoyed it. Especially this track. I really wish there was a Pokémon Z version to revisit and do more stuff with the region. I hope this gets some love in the future.
It's not a game persay, but a guy named tam valley productions recently made some videos on his ideas for "pokemon z" : )
In 2030 we might get an XY remake after Black & White.. :)
It's sad because Kalos was just supposed to be Kanto 2.0. There are 3 whole-ass locations that are copy pasted from Kanto just to cater to the genwunners. It didn't get to be its own unique setting.
I'm kind of sad that my favorite region didn't get to have as many iconic side-areas as previous titles. Especially the Chamber of Emptiness, I swear there was going to be an event Mythical there or something that they just forgot about.
Maybe they'll make more locations when Pokémon MegaX&MegaY come out in 2087...

This song is refreshing. It replicates that feeling of stopping at a quiet gas station during a road trip, taking a moment to stretch your arms, take in your surroundings, and maybe grab a Snickers bar before continuing.

Thank you!I would have preferred a version straight from the ost, but it doesn't release until late November iirc. Now that there is one though, this mix seems kind of pointless... but whatever. Yeah it was pretty difficult to know where exactly to cut and paste. I tried to ensure that there wouldn't be any obvious spots as to where I had looped it, so that the entire 30 mins is just a relaxing tune without interruptions.

@@jackelbjr I bought X and Y the second day it got on sale, and that whas one of the best decisions on my entire life, I did the same with Sun and Moon, but the fact they removed Gyms didnt like me that much. But anyways, I enjoyed it and have over 300 hours on it

Unova and kalos are always gonna be my favorite regions there are always in my heart
All I can think is… ten fucking years???? Does that hit anyone else like a freight train too? That feels like a monumental amount of time away and in reality that’s chump shit. But this song reminds me of a period of my life that is forever to remain intangible to me. Ten years ago I could barely show where I live on a world map but now I’m a taxpayer and university student. I’ve recently started to come to terms with the fact that I’m not as engaged with the games that I sunk thousands of hours of my childhood into, all I can fixate on it what I want go accomplish in the future. But, I’ll be damned if I ever stop listening to the music. There’s something about the music that accompanies a piece of media that makes you become intrinsically attached to and it ingrains itself into your memories..

This track is so cute to me. _X and Y_ may have been lacklustre in some ways, but the soundtrack was spot on. My hope is that _Legends: Z-A_ 's soundtrack equally remixes or rerecords a fair selection of music from the original games as much as it introduces brand new Kalosian songs to fall in love with. _Legends: Arceus_ delivered very well in that regard, so I have high hopes for the next entry in the _Pokémon Legends_ series. 🎼🫶😇
