Indeed... And people should read the book of revelation with regards to what Israel means. It isn't 'The Jews', quite to the contrary those saying they are Jews are something entirely different, but those from the OT will resurrect and fulfil the promise.
I think there’s a misunderstanding about what it means to be “the chosen people”. It’s not about ethnicity, it’s about being chosen to complete a task. God didn’t create a new race of people, He created a nation. They fulfilled the task when Jesus was born, now the ones who are chosen to carry out God’s plan are those who believe in Christ. That’s my understanding at this time, as I continue to study scripture objectively. The main thing people need to focus on is the core gospel message. Just my thoughts..
@@TheNationOfTexas Indeed. It was genealogical in terms of physis onto Christ. And it had also some political and social bearing. But with the crucifixion it was transposed to the spiritual and those in Christ are now 'Abraham's Seed', children of the promise. Figuratively 'God's chosen people'. And it was always about grace, not about merits.
Amen, and the Gentiles, who are circumcised of heart, are grafted into the olive tree, while natural branches, who are not circumcised of heart, are cut off. Thus, Jew and Gentile both can be called true sons of Israel by the fulfilling work of the culminating and fully obedient Son of God, Son of Abraham and Son of David.
Galatians 3:7 Pretty clear. ALL who believe are the Children of Abraham! Us gentile believers have not superceded Israel, we have been grafted in. There is no distinction in Christ, all who believe are the Israel of God.

You are talking about an entirely different thing. Yes in Isreal God started his work and through Jesus and his disciples Gentils were grafted in but that doesn't make every single promise God made to Israel void. Essentially you are calling God a breaker of his promises by denying this. Being children of God and the promises of God to Israel are entirely separate things, you are clearly confused on this issue.
it would appear that the reconciliation of all scripture is to say that there WILL BE no distinction in Christ. It seems clear that the Church is grafted into the nation of Israel. Of course that is not recognised or acknowledged by the nation of Israel at the moment. It also seems clear, as John Mac points out, that at a certain point in future, the nation of Israel will recognise Jesus Christ as their Messiah and be saved. Then there is unification of the physical and spiritual, Israel as the chosen and saved people of God will incorporate the Church, those who have believed and been saved in Christ since His first advent.
Everyone needs to stop commenting until they have read Romans chapters 9-11. I’ve noticed few people discuss them together as a whole and it leads to confusion. One side focuses on where Paul says “not all who are of Israel are Israel” and takes that to be the whole story. That’s not the whole story. Most references to Israel in those chapters are CLEARLY not referencing the church!
New Covenant Whole Gospel: Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. @@TimGomes-vb2jz Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24. In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews. Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5. Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11. Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11. Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost. Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24. Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church. I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following. "And then all Israel will be saved..." I have heard another say the following. "And all Israel will be saved..." What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say? Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse. How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below. Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future? Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith. Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

IMO what speaks against it, is that they, the juice, Did believe in the Great I Am (can't write the other titles from where I Am) at that time in seventy A.D., very much so and they followed the degrees He had given them, the ten degrees, and they were very diligent about not walking the steps on a day of rest, to act out, a tooth for a tooth, etc etc. But they did not understand the meaning behind their scriptures, they did not believe in the Son, but rejected the Son, they despised Him and saw to it that He was put on a +. So they, because they do not believe Are Not saved and are to this day going through the mire, but soon for the last seven years of the age of people self rule, the Heat of that mire will be turned up so much on them, and the unbelieving world, it is described in the Last book of the scriptures and in other books of prophecy. A peace deal will be signed, by the son of perdition, that starts the countdown, then the two witnesses appear in the streets of jeru and start preaching about the Son, one third of the juice and maybe the world too, will become believers, they will preach for three and one half years, then they will be terminated in the streets of jeru. Then the second half of seven years starts, very bad things will unfold on everybody going through the mire of Zech. Therefore then, at that time fulfilling Zach. and all other scriptures about the juice and the world, absolutely perfectly, the only way it all makes sense. After the seven years the Son will return to rule and bring His kingdom to the world. The Son has been given all power, sitting at the right hand, He is One with the aleph tav, the Great I Am.
Yes as gentiles we are grafted in, all of the church is Israel, but not all of Israel is the church. Israel = the grafted in gentiles, and the Jewish people of Israel. This doesn’t mean the Jews are saved without Christ, what it does mean, is the promises God made to Israel, He will fulfill to Israel. Prophecies and promises to Israel, are still kept to Israel.

Jesus also says in Matt. 23:43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed." According to Christian theology Jesus was killed by the Jews research 'christ killers' even though I totally disagree with that as I am a Muslim and don't believe in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Jews also believe that Jesus was a criminal revolutionary and that Mary was a prostitute that slept around. As a Muslim this is deeply offensive to me as Jesus is our prophet and we believe Mary was one of the greatest women of mankind. Interestingly you cannot insult Jesus or Mary in Muslim countries its blasphemy and you'll loose your life at any attempt of doing so. The existence of earthly Israel served no other purpose than to prepare for the Messiah's arrival, who had to descend from a specific lineage. Thankfully, Abraham was humble enough for God to select him for this role. Just as the Apostle Paul said, everything in the Old Testament foreshadowed what was to come, including earthly Israel. Christians should abandon the erroneous notion of a "chosen race or ethnicity" that places one people above others. Before God, there is no superior race or ethnicity. God shows no favoritism; instead, whoever fears and acts righteously in every nation is accepted by Him.
There’s no superiority or favoritism in the discussion. I don’t know where you got that from. Read Romans chapters 9-11. Matthew 26:28, John 19:30) The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations? 1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost? 8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.) 9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church. Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology. Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:
“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.” Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107. Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.” Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323. John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated… "...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.” John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.) What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16? (See what Joshua said about the Old Covenant land promise in Josh. 21:43.) Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth? Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups? Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and is it fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 12:18-24? Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church, if the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20? (See also 2 Thess. 1:7-10) If the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant “obsolete” in Hebrews 8:6-13, why would God go back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period?

It refers to being different in kind and quality. Spiritually, a new person in Christ is no longer Jew or Gentile, only Christian (cf. Rom. 10:12-13; Gal. 3:28). Eph. 2:16 reconcile us both to God. As Jews and Gentiles are brought to God through Christ Jesus, they are brought together with each other. This was accomplished by the cross, where Jesus became a curse (Gal. 3:10-13), taking God’s wrath so that divine justice was satisfied and reconciliation with God became a reality (see notes on 2 Cor. 5:19-21). For more on reconciliation, see Rom. 5:8-10 and Col. 1:19-23. 17 far off and . . . near. That is to Gentiles and Jews alike. Eph. 2:19 fellow citizens with the saints. Exactly every saint old and New Testament is Israel. This is affirmed in Romans chapter 2 this is affirmed in Romans chapter 9, and throughout scriptures. If you dig deep, this is why I do not subscribe to dispensationalism, but rather covenant theology.

He’s neglecting to walk through the text of Romans 9 where Paul clearly teaches that true Israel has always only ever been spiritual, not according to the flesh. so the Israel of God is comprised of both old covenant and new covenant believers. This is the only way to understand. God is only having one bride, as opposed to the dispensational view which sees the Father’s bride as the nation of Israel, and Jesus’ bride as being the church
Also neglecting to mention that the passage quoted of the thirteenth passage of zec, it is clearly stated, that only one third of, the juice, will start believing in the Son of the Great I Am, whom He sent two millennia ago, the other two thirds won't and will pass away, like other unbelievers of the world in those last days. Most will follow the false son, the son of perdition.
The covenant with abraham is literally. Isreal is His firstborn. You love your first born always. Literally they will be saved and Jesus will literally set His throne in Jerusalem to reign. All eyes will see it.

It also states that we (the church) are made sons of Abraham through Christ, thus making us the heirs to the Abrahamic promises, not the literal nation (or state) of Israel.
Read Romans 11 !!! It answers to the detail about how we as Christian’s were grafted into the original tree of life because of their disbelief, but not to become arrogant, because the original branches are going to be called back to the tree of life, and we are to cause them to be jealous of our relationship with God so they will desire Him. Jews will be grafted back in!!! Jesus fulfilled the law, but he did not do away with his promises to his people. He will keep every one of them.
Didn't Jesus say something like (paraphrasing) "You only come to the father through me." Almost all of them reject Christ. They're not getting grafted back in.
New Covenant means New Israel and New Jerusalem. If God declares something "new" it means the "old" is obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). God never keeps the New with the Old!
Covenants are only in effect if both parties keep the covenant! Has the nation of Israel ever kept a covenant? No! That’s why in the parable of the vineyard they are rejected! The kingdom has been given to others. Those who have the faith of Abraham
It’s why God made a new covenant through Jeremiah 31:31. And we know this new covenant was put into effect by the blood of Christ. Because the reason for a new covenant was because the jews broke the old covenant. It’s like Paul says that Christians are the true circumcised not by the removal of flesh by the hands of men but by the circumcision of the heart by the Spirit. Those who believe are the Israel of God!
This is after the remaining Christians have been taken up from the earth. The rest of the world will worship the beast. And God will once again use Israel to display His Glory.
You are right, but I think this is why it is said that Jews will come to believe, eventually, in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. And then they'll receive salvation.
"Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? Therefore I TELL YOU THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL BE TAKEN WAY FROM YOU and given to a people who will produce its fruit." Matthew 21:42-43. "They will level you to the ground- you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, BECAUSE YOU DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE TIME OF YOUR VISITATION FROM THE LORD.” Luke 19:44. "For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. AND IF YOU BELONG TO CHRIST, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE." Galatians 3:27-30. “CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW, in order to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.” Romans 10:4. "Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses." Acts 13:38.
@@skylarkirk1623 I have been tempted to start an online movement, "A New Year in the New Testament," where pastors would be encouraged to focus entirely on the New Testament for one whole year for the reason that the 'faulty' and lesser Old Testament is currently being used to confuse and diminish the greatness of the New Testament or Covenant. "Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises. For if that first covenant had been without fault, no place would have been sought for a second." Hebrews 8:6-7. However, I also know what the Scriptures say: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Finally, when the 1st century Church gathered together, they didn't read the Old Testament, they read letters and epistles from Paul and the other Apostles. With war raging in the middle east, I do think a Church movement focused on the New Testament may be just what Christians need.
I'm curious how this view handles converts who have joined the Jewish people (עם ישראל). In Jewish belief, the convert is just as Jewish and as much a member of the Jewish people as any other Jew and to be treated as such. Would this view, in contrast to Jewish belief, try to distinguish between genetic descendants of Jewish converts and genetic descendants of Jacob? Whose definition of the Jewish people is being used? Do we gain by joining the Jewish people via conversion and then one day embracing the Messiah at his appearance?
Great question. No i personally don't think so. Meaning I don't think there is any gain in converting to Judaism unless it is from non-belief in Christ to Messianic Judaism. If one knew not Christ before become a convert to judaism and thereafter was saved by putting their trust in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, then they ofcourse benefit. But an already born again gentile is no different (Spiritually) than a born again Messianic Jew when it comes to eternity in my understanding. This I believe is what the scripture means when it says there is neither Jew nor gentile. It doesn't rob the Jewish believer of their Jewishness but rather perhaps even grants Jewishness to the gentile in a spiritual sense. We together are the Children of God and will together rise from the dead as "the dead in Christ." Nonetheless when intepreting scripture the "Church" and "Israel" still remain separate entities therefore in this interview of Pastor John MacArthur, I agree with what he puts forth.
Exactly, Meaning the fruits that wil be collected are the ones the Isrealite planted but did not care for, so God evicted them and got in new tenders to the vine. That parable isn't there just to be cute.
@@jakeroon With the New Covenant, Christ regenerated the house of Israel- something that had to happen because the covenant of Levi was broken by the chief priests who told Pilate "We have no king but Caesar". Who is Israel? Are the Ashkenazi Eastern European Jews who have no ancestry to Jacob or Judah? They are not the chosen line of Abraham. The true line of Abraham is scattered. Jesus said, Matthew 23:38" See, your house is left to you desolate." The secular nation today of Israel is not God's chosen people.
Careful. Anyone from the old Roman empire may have *some* ancestry from 'Jacob or Judah'. But I agree with you, having ancestors that practiced Judaism is spiritually irrelevant. What counts is, if you are in Christ. But there is Christoid groups that don't want to accept that.
The Jewish nation is in their land and it will be where the Lord will reign, Micah 4:6-7 In that day, declares the Lord, I will assemble the lame and gather those who have been driven away and those whom I have afflicted; and the lame I will make the remnant, and those who were cast off, a strong nation; and the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore.
@@amos3three941 Just that you again haven't answered the relevant question on this. Who is meant by 'Jews'/'Israel' in the text? Simply declaring people to be that won't help. NT-Text becomes very clear about this.
It's very sad how many people can't understand the unconditional nature of the promises made with Abraham and David. All covenants (include the new covenant) was made with Israel. The church becomes co-participant with them. God never broke promises made with Israel. It's seems that the reformation flag its more important than the bible teaching, and the bible never teach replacement theology.
John MacArthur is gaslighting with his characterization of the interviewer’s question as “supercessionism”. John MacArthur gives a definition of “supercesssionism”, and it’s clearly not what the interview said. Israel has not been replaced by the Church; they are one in the same entity now in Christ. One tree, with the same roots, but some branches grafted in and some broken off. Yes, a remnant of faith-filled Jews will be grafted back in after the “time of the gentiles”. All this is in Romans 11, Galatians 3, Ephesians 2:11-22, etc.
No-one will be added to the Olive Tree (ethnic Jew or ethnic Gentiles) after the fullness of the Gentiles come in. Because the "All Israel is saved" by the fullness of the Gentiles coming in. Therefore, the fullness of the Gentiles coming in ends the process of all Israel getting saved, not begins it!
@@warriorpriestblog Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)- 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, EXCLUDED FROM CITIZENSHIP IN ISRAEL and FOREIGNERS to the covenants of the promise.... Consequently, you are NO LONGER FOREIGNERS AND STRANGERS, BUT FELLOW-CITIZENS with God’s people and also members of his household. Fellow-citizens? Of what nation? The Israel of God. Fellow-citizens with who? God's people (the Israel that is Israel, not the Israel that is not Israel- Romans 9:6). We are now members of the household of God! What household? The house of Israel and Judah (Hebrews 8:8)!
@@warriorpriestblog It doesn't say when God would graft them back in, or that God will definitely do it. Believing that God will do it after the rapture and 1st resurrection of the Church (if God even chooses to do so) is an assumption. Why can't God graft them back in beforehand?
"Israel" is the name God gave to Jacob, a man born of Isaac, who was born of Abraham, the Assyrian. They are believers in God's promise. Not all Israel the nation is "Israel." God's promises are to believers in the promise of God in Christ, the Holy One of all believers, before His death and resurrection and after this work of fulfillment of the Everlasting Covenant. Genetics play no part in whom God calls and chooses. It is a "mystery." Believers are the elect who gather together to be revived by the Gospel for continuing on with their wrestling with their flesh, the sin-principle that remains with us until we die.
I'm so glad that we have Divines like John MacArthur now who can clearly show us that the Word of God was not preserved to us infallibly and that all of our Christian ancestors literally had no idea what they were talking about. That the Word of God was not communicated to them in defiance of the words of the Prophet Isaiah and that ever since 1945 we have FINALLY had true knowledge of our relationship to Israel! Let me explain something: if Protestants, the same Reformers who had thrown off the shackles of Papism and alien domination, had come to some idea that the Scriptures told us we were all just Goyim Slaves to Israel and we should just be grateful we're along for the ride, then they probably would've started turning on Christianity as well. Who alive today can say without blush they have the intellect and knowledge of Scripture that John Owens, Matthew Henry, John Calvin & Luther had? Yet they never believed the kind of nonsense concerning Israel that now consumes the American Christian world. What happened? What changed?
There is only 1 Israel, the Israel of God ..and if Israel, after the flesh, repent they shall be grafted in again ...'Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are Not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are Not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed" (Rom 9)..
Israel was special because they were part of the covenant God made with Abraham. We see in the New Covenant that the promise is fulfilled in Christ and includes anyone of any race as long as they have faith. I recommend reading all of Galatians 3 but here are some highlighted verses. Galatians 3:7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 3:9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 3:29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. So true Israel is all of God's chosen (believing Jews and gentiles).
In Romans 8, Paul makes it clear that "all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God" and "not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel". Meaning, the true sons of Abraham (the sons of God) are those who have faith in God through Christ (whether they be Jew or Gentile), not merely the biological offspring of Abraham and Israel. Paul's whole point in Romans 11:26 is that God's promise to save all of Abraham's children has not been proven wrong by the disbelief and rebellion of the Jews, because the promise wasn't made to them; it was made to Christ, the true Seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:16). Thus, the promise that "all Israel will be saved" is fulfilled by the church because we're adopted by God through Christ, making us children of Abraham and fellow heirs of the Abrahamic promises to Christ (Romans 8:17). The church is Israel.
@@Keimi That's the whole point he's making is that (you') pick and choose what you want and like, rather that accept the whole' fullness of Truth that the Church has. That makes you a Protestant and a heretic' and a schismatic" sectarian. It's all man-made sectarian division.'
Everyone who enters into the new covenant will become part of the bride. National Israel just isn’t part of the bride yet, because they aren’t saved, yet. Once the veil is lifted and they receive Christ, they too, will become part of the “New Man,” the “Body of Christ, “His Bride,” ultimately all of redeemed humanity in the end will be “The Lamb’s Wife.” Dispensationalism isn’t about two different brides or modes of salvation, it’s about the timing of salvation for gentiles and Israel.
Paul never said..."All Israel will be saved." Leaving out one little word changes the meaning of the verse and is a corruption of God's Word. Based on John 19:37 and Acts chapter 2, Zechariah 12:10 was fulfilled at Calvary and on the Day of Pentecost. Based on what Paul said about Christ returning "in flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not obey the Gospel in 2 Thess. 1:7-10, there is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in the Bible. All races of people need to hear the New Covenant Gospel now before it is too late for them. Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context...
@@littleredhen2894 You are correct. The word "so" is an adverb of manner. However, Dr. MacArthur is trying to change the word to "then", which is an adverb of timing. Like many others, MacArthur is trying to use Zech. 12:10 to claim a future salvation for the "nation" of Israel. The word in Romans 9:27 is "remnant", instead of "nation". What is wrong with MacArthur's idea. Based on John 19:37, the "piercing" in Zech. 12:10 was fulfilled at Calvary and the Spirit was poured out in Jerusalem a few weeks later on the Day of Pentecost. MacArthur's attempts to separate Israel and the Church are revealed to be in error by the article below. @@SpotterVideo *Regarding John 19:37, I have found there exists a counter argument to your assertion that MacArthur is incorrect believing Zechariah 12 is pertaining to future Israel. Here in REVELATION 1:7 "Behold he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Look at "mourn for him" in Zechariah 12:10. And look at "wail because of him" in Revelation 1:7. These two scriptures are clearly parallels to John 19:37. However John 19:37 says nothing of the mourning. And the scene at the cross suggests nothing of Israel mourning over Christ..."as one mourneth for his only son." ***In my opinion, it is clear that the mourning which is absent from the text in John 19:37, is absent for a reason. The obvious reason being it hasn't happened yet. A similar pattern to John referencing Zechariah exists when Jesus quotes Isaiah 61. Both quote the scripture stopping mid verse and at a comma. THE OT SCRIPTURE FOLLOWING THE COMMA IS DESCRIBING A FUTURE EVENT IN BOTH EXAMPLES (Luke 4:17-20, & John 19:37) Personally I'm 100% convinced. But its a journey. *Disclaimer I'm not trying to attack. Just on a journey to get as much clarity out of the scriptures as I can and share my findings, discuss them and adjust my position and theology along the way as the Word of God corrects me.
The Book of Zechariah says that, in the very last days, 2/3 will perish in the refining fires and only 1/3 will be saved. So, we have a major contradiction UNLESS we realize that the verse "All Israel will be saved" is referring to the body of Christ (the Church). For further instruction, read the ENTIRE book of Galatians... or at the very least, read Galatians 3. And take note that we don't need to pull an isolated verse here and there to make the point that in the instance of Romans 11:26, the term Israel is referring to all those who come to faith and repentance in Yeshua Hamashiach.
The nation of Israel broke the covenant God made with them; Jeremiah 31:31. So God made a new covenant, a covenant of grace. This new covenant was put into effect by the blood of Jesus Christ. When John MacArthur quotes the old testament passage of them looking on him who they have pierced, he misuses it because that prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus was crucified and was quoted by the writers of the gospels. John 19:37! But as the case seems to be some teachers add double meaning to prophecy. Oh yes it was fulfilled then but there is a greater fulfillment of it in the future! Just like the abomination of desolation that was fulfilled in 70ad some say there is an even greater fulfillment in the future! I don’t think so! The nation of Israel was rejected because of their disobedience. Read the parables of the vineyard ( luke 20:9-18) and the banquet ( luke 14:16-24)Jesus says in lukes gospel ( 21:20-24) ( 19:41-44). Abomination of desolation has taken place already! Some twist scripture to fit their premillennial narrative. Which includes a pre trib rapture. They say once the church is out of here then God saves the nation of Israel! My bible says that at the return of Christ the end comes (1 Cor. 15). Listen, if you belong to Christ and you study the word of God like we are commanded to you will see the truth. Problem is; too many take for granted that certain false doctrines are true because some world known bible teacher tells them something. We are warned over and over that there will be false teachers telling people what their itching ears want to hear! I suggest that you read through the entire new testament and write down every verse that specifically states that jesus is going to remove the church before a tribulation. When you are finished you will notice that you never wrote down anything. But also write down every verse that says jesus will return and raise up all that the father has given him on the last day and you will notice there were a number of verses that state that. But most professing believers don’t study
Absolutely spot on Mcarthur! Good to hear someone giving a sound exegesis of this subject rather than the sad error of replacement theology which has crept into the church.
At minute 1:48 MacArthur says if Is 53 is about the future why are the verbs in past tense? “was” I’ll ask him the same question about Matthew 24; if Jesus were talking about a future generation, why was He using present tense “you” and “this” generation? MacArthur is just another teacher, who appears to be a good man, teaching error. ALL scripture referencing Israel is over, all fulfilled. There is NO future restoration of the false nation of Israel. The greatest deception of church history is Christian Zionism and dispensation. There is no anti-Christ, no rapture, no 7-year tribulation, no future Temple. All fulfilled in 70 AD. The word of God was written to 1st generation believers for instruction for the times and warning of the future of God’s divorce from Israel through the events of 70 AD and the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple. Jesus came on the clouds in judgement. The book of Revelation is God’s divorce decree from Israel. It’s over for Israel. Those of us are Israel on the inside.
You don’t understand His promises. Jesus didn’t have to divorce Israel because He fulfilled His covenant with her unto death. He was free to institute a new covenant. That’s why Paul says we are not bound by the law (first marriage) and we are free to marry another. When Israel learns this, they also will die to the law and become partakers in the New Covenant with us. The New marriage. “So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” Romans 7:3-4 “For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:” Romans 11:24-26
Being a spiritualy descendant from Abraham does NOT make you a Jew or an Israelite. In the physical, being a descendant from abraham does not make you a Jew, then why in spiritual sence? Abraham had Izak and 6 other sons later on. Al the 6 sons and Ismael and their DESCENDANTS are NOT JEWISH nor ISRAEL. Being Jewish is when you are a descendant from Jacob, which is called Israel later on by God Himself! Being grafted in doesnt make you a Jew either. You only partake from the blessings (sapflow) promised to Abraham in Christ. If you know how grafting goes: For example, if you take a branche from an Appletree and you graft it into a Peartree truck, does that branche give pears instead of apples? NO! It keeps giving Apples, but partake of the sapflow from the trunk. LIKEWISE, a Gentile being grafting in, does NOT make him/her a JEW!
God scattered literal national ethnic Israel just as he said he would. God regathered national ethnic territorial Israel just as he said he would. It is only logical their future salvation is just as literal as the other two fulfilled promises.
There is only 1 Israel,.. the Israel of God ..and if Israel, after the flesh, repent they shall be grafted in again ...'Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.
I see it like this: When the Jews accept Jesus, they will come to know salvation. It doesn't give us any right to say that because hey follow judiasm, they are lost and irredeemable. Their redemption will come later but it doesn't make it okay for Christians to turn a blind eye to the Jews and their suffering, perhaps not the state of Israel, but to Jews in general.
Paul in Romans just got through making the point that because you are of physical decent from Abraham doesn’t mean that you are a jew, it’s if you have the faith of Abraham that makes you a jew or Israel! It’s not the son born in the natural way who is the heir, it’s the son born in the supernatural way that is the heir! Why would Paul change his mind and then say that all Israel will be saved means that all the naturally born descendants of Abraham are Israel? Israel is all those who the Father has given to Christ from the beginning till He returns on the last day!! Hence in Galatians 6 Paul uses the term “ the Israel of God”, which is the church!! The nation of Israel has been rejected, read the parables of the vineyard and of the banquet. Yes, there is a remnant just as there was in Pauls day! He used himself as an example! He also said he made alot out of his position as the apostle to the Gentiles in order to make jealous his fellow jews so that he might save some of them not all of them! God is saving through Jesus a people for His own possession out of every nation, people, tribe and tongue. This people, are the Israel of God!
Being a Jew inwardly is ch 2. Read ch 11. You can't deny Paul is referring to the nation Israel. V. 7 and 11 are unmistakable. You cannot put a different meaning to those words. Israel as a nation will be saved as a nation at Armageddon or all the prophets are wrong. But they are not wrong. You are.
Isaiah 29 is about the Harlot church (Babylon! See Rev 18) 'Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. 'For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered' And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: ...(Dan 12:4 'But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.Rev 5:9 'And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation'...... And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. AMEN..The Bible teaches that true Israel and earthly Israel are Not the same thing. That Not every member of earthly Israel is a member of God’s Israel. In fact, this is the key that unlocks the three chapters of Romans 9 through to 11..."Not everyone who is descended from Israel is a member of Israel”...God’s elect, those Born of the Spirit, comprised of both Jews and Gentiles, are the true Israel of God....This is fundamental to a correct understanding of the Gospel and the Prophets...I would challenge anyone reading, to pause now, and read Romans 2:28-29 ; 4:11-13 ; 4:22-25 ; Galatians 6:14-16 (Isaiah 44:5) ; Philippians 3:3 and Hebrews 12:22....and God is saying to those with esrs to hear: Come Out of Her, My People!". read Jeremiah 51 v,45) and Rev 18.. the 'church' has become a Harlot! ....she is Babylon!

What is always ignore is the End Times prophecy in Revelation. We are in the End Times. So the following scriptures apply: Revelation 2:9 “I know your afflictions and your poverty-yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan." Revelation 3:9 "I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars-I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you."
Gen 48:19, Jer. 31:27 and others refute JMs understanding. How does one determine if they are of the house of judah or the house of israel. Anyone can make that claim. Test and prove ALL THINGS.
Whew!! Just as well we don't make the decision. 2Tim. 2.19 The Lord knows them who are his. The only criteria stipulated by Paul is "let EVERYONE who nameth the name of Christ (Jew Gentile or Church) depart from evil."
„There is no more jewish thing as trusting in Joshua, the Messiah”. No-Jew don’t need to became Jew to be saved. Jew don’t need to became non-Jew to be saved. Why? Simply „there is no Jew and Greek/non-Jew/gentile in Jezus”… Big missunderstanding of being Jew topic arround this comment section 🙄
Here's another example, of a gentile and harlot, who came to the body of Israel, from the Old Testament supported by the New Testament... Joshua 6:25 But Rahab the prostitute and her father's household and all who belonged to her, Joshua saved alive. And she has lived in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. Hebrews 11:31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies. Dispensationalists try to explain away the verse that says Rahab "lives is Israel to this day" as it meaning that her descendants still live there, rather than coming to the understanding that she was SAVED into the body of Christ Jesus. Read the entire chapters, then read the whole books and bible to see how everything in the Old Testament points to the New Covenant which replaces nothing but is rather the glorious crescendo of all the old covenants into a "New and Better Covenant". God always upholds his promises and it's important to note that many of the covenants contain the "if you" statements from God. There is only one Olive Tree and one perfect solution for salvation and eternal life in the perfect presence with our Creator. That's the New Covenant made manifest by Jesus' perfect life, sacrifice and resurrection.
In revelation there are 12 gates in the New Jerusalem with each tribes name listed above it, and an angel guarding each gate to make sure only the member of the tribe can get in. It is physically impossible to enter New Jerusalem unless you go through one of these gates. John MacArthur said the church is not Israel, and if this is the case then John MacArthur cannot physically enter New Jerusalem because the angels won't let him in. This is why gentiles are grafted into Israel, Christianity has never understood this.
It is amazing how far we can stray from what scripture describes is being grafted in and being a bride of Christ so based on what John MacArthur has just said, it sounds to me like the grafting doesn’t have the significance that it’s plain language expresses. And it also says that, the church may be the bride of Christ but the Jewish nation God called his bride in the Old Testament, and he tried to be a husband to them, and he gives us example after example in Josea in the minor profits about how Israel played the harlot and broke his heart Yeah you read that right? They broke God‘s heart. The 10 Commandments were given to Moses as a ketubah, or wedding contract. And to reject the Torah, the law is to reject God’s desire to be one with us as a husband is with a wife. In the kingdom, the church and Israel are synonymous. And the sooner Christians get that through their thick, hardened heart and skull, the happier, they will be at peace with God.
There is salvation in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but by Him. Jesus is that promised seed of Abraham and to all those who believe on Him. It is by our faith in Jesus Christ that we are the children of Abraham.
Remember, context is key, my friends: "a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the GENTILES has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be saved" -- "all Israel" is SPIRITUAL not ethnic. "In THIS WAY" -- what way? That the Gentiles MUST be grafted IN, for "ALL" Israel to be saved. Spiritual Israel is all who believe in Messiah, which is the Church, the Bride of Christ. The OT already prophesied that the nations, the Gentiles would also find salvation in Messiah. Remember Romans 9:6 "But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel" - Again, True Israel is spiritual, not ethnic. That is exactly what Paul is saying. Titus 2:14 "(Christ) who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works." Paul is writing to and about the Church, God's "own possession" just like Israel, but fully realized in Christ. BTW, Love pastor MacArthur. Love Wretched and brother Todd. And I love also that dispensationalism is well, starting to fade as believers are studying the Word for themselves. It's a good thing, brothers.
“Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: for if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” Romans 11:19-29
Wow! Even though MacArthur rightly teaches that if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham's children and teaches against Pelagianism as he should, it's pretty difficult listening to him knowing that he simultaneously holds to Nestorian heresy and denies the theotokos, of which all the Protestant reformers would've anathemized him for! Just incase anyone didn't know!
This is why John Mcarthur eschatology is so whack… He’s saying that the nation of Israel will come to salvation, and that’s indirect contrast to Romans chapter 9, where it says, not all of Israel is Israel. If he simply understood that Israel is the church, it harmonizes perfectly with everything else that Paul has written, especially pertaining to Romans, chapter 2, and Romans chapter 9.
But then conflicts with Romans 11. If God does not keep "everlasting" covenant with Israel then he won't keep his covenant with you either. God is a covenant keeping God, it is His nature. We blaspheme His nature to say otherwise.
@@paladinproductions881 and our God is one God, father, son and Holy Spirit so you’re still saying by side, stepping the question that God has two wives, or Wil have two wives. The church is Israel in order to enter into the kingdom of Heaven a person must be born again that includes Old Testament saints as well. So Abraham was a born believer justified by faith and therefore part of the church I think you’re also avoiding Romans chapter 2, where it says that the true Jew is one that’s been circumcised the heart which supports the church being Israel, so does Romans chapter 9 where it says it not all of Israel is Israel, but it’s children of the promise that are Israel
The remnant of israel refers to the first jews who were the first Christians because they converted. A remnant means that something has been destroyed and a thing remains. The remnant of the old Israel became the New Israel.
"...we get in trouble when we superimpose systems over the text..." - John MacArthur “[We are to] put doctrine into [the Scriptures] and see if it survives.” - John MacArthur Well, which is it, J-Mac???? By putting the doctrines of Man into the text to "see if it survives", you are "superimpos[-ing] systems over the text." J-Mac does so when it suits him and calls out others when they do it.
It's curious that those saved out of Isreal will be the 144k in the minds of pre-mils and that's apparently enough to deem the nation and covenant Israel saved. I'm pretty sure there's more than that saved throughout church history. In fact, i think that 144k was fullfilled in 1st century since it's when the tribal clans were lost as the temple was destroyed. There is no reason to look to Israel and assume they are under anything more than any one else in terms of how one is to be saved.
So can I ask why the orthodox jews spit on the belief of Jesus..? Just wondering why .. I can't see how god would find in favor of somebody spitting on his son that That he sent for our salvation...and even if they don't believe so. Is it godly to cast judgment?or I'm just confused why they would do such a thing... Why don't The ultra-orthodox Jewish people believe in Jesus? And why did they think it's okay to spit on people. Does that not go against god's ideology? Thou shall not judge? Yet they value non godly things? I'm just very confused on this .. godly people being ungodly.. seems like the devil Incarnate to me .. he is the alpha and omega.. what's not to understand?
If someone would read Galations 3:28,29 it should end the debate. It starts off. "There is no longer Jew or gentle……." And ends with the children of God are the seed of Abraham and the children of Promise." Pretty simple stuff. Political Israel is nothing. The "Church" Body of Christ, is everything. I would describe Israel today as "they are of their father the devil……" John 8:44 simply unbelievers.
It also says there is no male or female. I guess we are all non-binary now. Also, maybe read the entire chapter of John 8 before taking only one negative statement out of context. 🤦♀️
Mike, there are Jews in the Church and mostly gentiles. Those are the spiritual heirs of Abraham because of faith. Israel has been God’s marker of history. Israel is an elect nation not meaning saved individuals but different from all other nations. They are how we know that God is real and bringing about his purposes. This brings him glory. There are three purposes of the coming Great Tribulation: To bring judgement on the false shepherds of Israel and bring the remnant into faith in Jesus, to finalize the spread of the gospel across the earth and bring in the last of the harvest of souls, and to destroy evil. It is happening before our eyes.
All of God's people believe in Christ. Any Jew or Gentile who rejects Jesus as the Messiah/Christ rejects his only means of salvation. This isn't "replacement theology," but a theology of covenant "fulfillment." The true Jews are those who are Jews inwardly, which includes gentiles as well. The church are the "true Jews," with some ethnic Jews included by faith. All of ethnic Israel will be saved only if all of ethnic Israel become Jews inwardly through faith.
I do not know what interpretation of the Bible is correct, but it is evident to me this is a real proud individual. He knows it all. He probably knows more than God. I shy away from such wickedness.
Now a fundametal question would be: What is jew? or Who is a jew? Even jews answer this question in very different manner. If you read Romans 2 is a definition by God (through the Apostle Paul), that it depends on the circumcision of the heart. Now Israel lives in the NEW COVENANT and every jew is together with all nonjews invited to be part of it.
We believers should only come to one theology if we are one! Are you saying Yah gave two laws to two different assemblies? Come on! The only reason you believe there are two different entities is because someone taught you that!
Here's the problem, most people who agree with the overarching concepts of Dispensationalism (hate the name, tbh) still view those who whole to a Covenant Theology view as believers... the inverse is not true. There are many CT's who claim a consistent application of a Grammatical/Historical hermeneutic and a belief in a future for Israel with unfulfilled promises are false teachers, introducing dangerous heresies. One side is much more gracious than the other.
Romans 2:28-29 [28] For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. [29] But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God.
I watch fundies like this and really, it's like watching somebody walk through a junkyard and scavenging bits and pieces to make up some crappy old jalopy to a design he personally likes. It may suit his personality and individual quirks, but it's not a reliable piece of engineering.
not all israel is of israel. not the children of the flesh. the israel of God was the faithful remnant who received jesus. this was made manifest on the day of pentecost. a feast of God given to israel. they went and spread the gospel, bringing in the gentiles, whom God made into one new man. throughout the old testament, a gentile could enter the covenant God made with the israel, and then be regarded "just as" any ethnic jew. and there has always been a remnant among the disobedient jews, who remained faithful to God. gentiles who are in christ have been grafted in among them, attached to the same root, branches on the same tree. there is no difference, no distinction. thus, "in this manner" all israel will be saved; that is, the true israel of God, the faithful in christ from all nations. if you are christ's, you are abrahams descendents, and heirs of the promises......
This video has convinced me to never buy a book by John MacArthur. Pray for everyone, that they will not be deceived by those who reject Jesus. Thank you
@@beauchal Read First John 2:22-23 and 4:2-3. Also read Eph 2:11-22. Many preachers are on the fence or have been taught by those (or using study notes of the Bible) that work against Jesus and are extending the Old Covenant and still hoping for a Messiah.
So you reject dispensational theology, which is fine. You don’t have to agree with dispensationalism (even though you can make a clear case for the distinction between Israel and the church in the OT as well as NT) to imply that he is a false prophet.
I believe MacArthur is mistaken on this one. The mistake people with this view make is believing that there ever was a replacement. We are Israel. Israel is God's chosen people. God's chosen people are those who follow God. God and Jesus are one and the same. The Church is Israel. It always has been and always will be. That's what I get from reading Romans and Galatians.
I think you have to read Romans chapter 11 on this. Romans chapter 11 clearly has three individuals separate. Paul’s audience is save the gentiles. Paul has addressed the 7000 remnant Jews that were saved by grace that he referred to as “the elect that have obtained” Then Paul immediately says “what of the others?” he says that the others after the remnant in national Israel are hardened in part. A partial hardening. And how long is this partial hardening?… Paul tells you… Israel is under a hardening in part UNTIL the full number of Gentiles has come in… And it is in this way that all Israel will be saved All Israel consists of three groups that all believe or will believe in Jesus Christ for salvation 1) the 7000 remnant Jews that were set aside by God and saved by grace in Romans 11 2) the others of national Israel that were not part of the remnant that God has under a partial hardening UNTIL the full number of Gentiles has come in 3) the gentiles that were grafted into the natural tree as wild Olive branches, so as to provoke national Israel to jealousy. These three groups make up “all Israel”
This isn’t for those of you who have the final word on the subject of Gods decrees, ok…For those of you who would like more understanding on the subject of Israel in Romans I offer a foundational study by John Murray on the epistle. If you haven’t studied this seminal work I’d be silent and steal away ;read it and see if it opens your understanding. Not only will you get a lesson in methodology of principles of interpretation, hermeneutics, you’ll learn some humility too. Everyone is a theologian in their own mind until they humble themselves and do the work of reading the guys who were called to do the heavy lifting in the original languages. If you still think ‘open my eyes to behold wonderful things out of your law’ only means , reading the Bible and serving yourself plates of self interpretative explanations that serve your preconceived notions doing a deep dive into classic works like Murray’s Romans is not for you.
Spoken like a true Augustinian. I don't need anyone to understand the Bible. I have the Helper already. Rom 11:7,11 are non negotiable. Paul is talking about the nation Israel without any doubt whatsoever. Israel will be saved after Armageddon
There is no special place for a fleshly nation of Israel anymore. That was Kaput from the time of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus the Messiah. There is one Nation of Believers.
That he, as a Christian pastor, is so lost and confused is scary. They rejected Christ, Crucified him and said, "Let His blood be on us and our children." ( Matt 27:25). “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). In the meantime, the Jew's most sacred book, the Babylonian Talmud, says this about Jesus, " Onkelos raises up a spirit named Yeshu by necromancy, and asks him about his punishment in Gehinnom. Yeshu replies that he is in "boiling excrement."
As much as I love John MacArthur, this is not true. There is a trend in Christianity that exalts the nation of Israel, but it is not biblical at all. "True Israel" is the group of people who believe in Jesus. If you believe, then you are a member of God's people, that is, you belong to Israel. However, the Bible hints that the nation of Israel will turn to Jesus in the end times. Although the Bible does not say that this will be true for all Jews without exception.
Israel is a people, still scattered. Jesus gathered the "two sticks" once already (John 12.20-24, Jeremiah 31.10, Ezekiel 11.17, Ezekiel 37, Isaiah 60). He will gather their Remnant at the end of time for all eternity. (Isaiah 11.11)
Half truth in what you state. The Jewish people are the nation of Israel and it is the chosen nation from which our father Abraham came and the blood line which God chose to bless all of man kind, we are children of Abraham by faith in Jesus Christ. Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteous. Just read Galatians 3:7 know therefore that they are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham. And the scriptures, foreseeing that God would bless the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, In thee shall all the nations be blessed. And then read Romans 9:7-8. then read Gal 3:26-29. And John 8:39, Romans 2:28`-29. Again Gal:3:29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham"s offspring, heirs according to promise.
@@amos3three941 I beg your pardon, you lack understanding. It´s STILL all about the birthright which has been stolen. Jesus called "the jews" of their father the devil. John 8.44 The disciples of Messiah were the true Isrealites, called Galileans. "jew" is a made-up word to hide the true identity of Esau. "Gentile" is also a made-up word, concealing the Identity of Jacob-Israel. Or do you believe that those who are anti-Christ love God? Does not God hate Esau? Malachi 1. A Hebrew is Jacob-Israel. A "jew" is Esau, counterfeiting Jacob-Israel. There are 10 tribes of Israel that are still scattered. Isaiah 11.11, Ezekiel 11.17, Ezekiel 37. Paul is useless. I prefer the whole counsel of God and what Messiah has to say.
Show us in Scripture where it says Christians are the "TRUE Israel"...we'll wait. I can show you verse after verse of God saying he has not rejected Israel. The entire point of Romans 9-10 is to explain what happens with them. And it CLEARLY states they are NOT rejected. This is a false teaching that started because Augustine allegorized entire swaths of scripture concerning Israel. He did that because he couldn't see how these prophecy's could be fulfilled given Israel was not in the land and Jerusalem was desolate.
Dispensationalism is utterly wrong and deceptively wicked. John Hagee is one. He believes you shouldn't even bother preaching Jesus to Jewish people because they are under a different Covenant. That's so wrong. That's terrible for Jewish because they will die in their sins.
Ephesians 2:13-22 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. [14] For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility [15] by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, [16] and might reconcile us both to God IN ONE BODY through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. [17] And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. [18] For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. [19] So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, [20] built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, [21] in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. [22] In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
MacArthur is wrong. "All Israel shall be saved" is in reference to the elect of God regardless of race or background. So Paul is referring to the Bride of Christ, the church.
Correct the church is the bride of Christ. However Jeremiah records God referring to himself as being married to Israel. 3v14. Finally the scenes revealed in Revelation certainly makes the distinction between Israel/Jerusalem, and the marriage supper of the lamb.
@@llewpaul1146 No. We go by the epistles, and interpret everything else in light of them. Revelation is in figures: it is not literal. You need to study up on types and anti-types. There is only one bride of Christ, for Christ is not a polygynist. And there is only one way to be part of that bride: being born again.
He’s missing the mark… Rev. 2:9 and 3:9 that there would be a fake people who are calling themselves Jews BUT THEY ARE NOT! Gen. 10:1-5 tells us the people he thinks are GODS chosen are the Gentiles. GOD calls the end from the beginning…
Romans 9:6-8: "But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring". Luke 13: 23-30: "And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’ Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’ In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out. And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God. And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.” Galatians 6:12-17: "It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus".
Ephraim's descendants were prophesied to becomes the melo hagoyim, fullness of the nations or fullness of the gentiles, in Genesis 48:19. As the son of Joseph he got the birthright (1 Chronicles 5:1), though Judah received the scepter and the chief came from among him. In Deuteronomy 29-30 God lays out the blessings and curses, saying that if you disobey I will drive you from the land and scatter you from one end of the earth to the other, but wherever you are, if you repent and turn to God, he will regather you. After Solomon, because of Solomon's disobedience, God tore the Kingdom from Solomon's son, and left him only one tribe, the tribe of Benjamin. Therefore the House of Israel, the ten northern tribes, rebelled against Judah, and were led by mostly Ephraimite kings. In Hosea God divorced Israel, made them "Not my People" and showed the "No Mercy" but he did show mercy to Judah. In Jeremiah 3 it says God divorced Israel. He scattered them among the nations via Assyria, from one end of the earth to the other. Now he's regathering them from among all the nations. Judah however returned from their exile in Babylon. This is why Paul quote Hosea in Romans 9. This is why he alludes to Deuteronomy 30 in Romans 10, and why he alludes to Genesis 48:19 in ch. 11. In Ezra it says it was the sons of Judah, the sons of Benjamin and the sons of Levi, those who had been carried away by Nebuchadnezzer who returned. The Jews are not "all Israel" they are only the House of Judah. One day the Jews will be grafted back in again and all Israel will be saved.
It was prophesied, clearly in the Old testament that Jesus is the fulfillment of the promise.

Galatians 3:26
Amen, and the Gentiles, who are circumcised of heart, are grafted into the olive tree, while natural branches, who are not circumcised of heart, are cut off. Thus, Jew and Gentile both can be called true sons of Israel by the fulfilling work of the culminating and fully obedient Son of God, Son of Abraham and Son of David.
It’s having Abraham’s faith that saves, not Abraham’s DNA!!

I don't think its quite that clear.
New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49?
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18.

Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context...
"And then all Israel will be saved..."
I have heard another say the following.
"And all Israel will be saved..."
What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say?
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing.
Galatians 3:29 And if you are Christ's then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.
They still will not see it

So they, because they do not believe Are Not saved and are to this day going through the mire, but soon for the last seven years of the age of people self rule, the Heat of that mire will be turned up so much on them, and the unbelieving world, it is described in the Last book of the scriptures and in other books of prophecy. Well said. So many of the comments I have read misunderstand what John is saying.

Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Paul’s interpretation in Galatians 3:8.)
2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
(See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
10. Watch the RUclips video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old.
“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.
John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…
"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”

(See what Joshua said about the Old Covenant land promise in Josh. 21:43.)
Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”?

Curious how JMac would exegete Eph. 2:14-22. "...who made both groups into one...so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man...in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord..." NASB.
From his study Bible notes:
Eph. 2:14 he himself. This emphatically indicates that Jesus alone is the believer’s source of peace (cf. Isa. 9:6). the dividing wall. This alludes to a wall in the temple that partitioned off the Court of the Gentiles from the areas accessible only to Jews. Paul referred to that wall as symbolic of the social, religious, and spiritual separation that kept Jews and Gentiles apart.
15 one new man. Christ does not exclude anyone who comes to him, and those who are his are not spiritually distinct from one another. “New” translates a Greek word that refers to something completely unlike what it was before.
God’s kingdom is made up of the people from all time who have trusted in him. There are no strangers, foreigners, or second-class citizens there (cf. Phil. 3:20). of the household of God. Redeemed sinners not only become heavenly citizens but also members of God’s own family. The Father bestows on believers the same infinite love he gives his Son.

Exactly every saint old and New Testament is Israel. This is affirmed in Romans chapter 2 this is affirmed in Romans chapter 9, and throughout scriptures. If you dig deep, this is why I do not subscribe to dispensationalism, but rather covenant theology.

The covenant God made to Israel will stand! How absurd to ever think otherwise! Yes Pastor John spot on!
New Testament writers cited these Old Testament passages referring to the renewed Israel in the Messiah Jesus.
There is only one way to the Father and that is through the Son. How can one be saved if he doesn’t believe that the Son is the Messiah?

However, I also know what the Scriptures say:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
We together are the Children of God and will together rise from the dead as "the dead in Christ."
Nonetheless when intepreting scripture the "Church" and "Israel" still remain separate entities therefore in this interview of Pastor John MacArthur, I agree with what he puts forth.
The olive tree is hardened from part Israel until that which fills [Israel] full, of the Gentiles, be brought in. Thus shall all Israel be saved.

But the branches are different, yes? One is natural and one is wild?
Almost like one body with different parts, right?
No-one will be added to the Olive Tree (ethnic Jew or ethnic Gentiles) after the fullness of the Gentiles come in. Because the "All Israel is saved" by the fullness of the Gentiles coming in.
Some things become clearer over time, not because of better theologians. Some prophecies are sealed up to the times of the end
There is only 1 Israel, the Israel of God ..and if Israel, after the flesh, repent they shall be grafted in again ...'Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are Not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
This is what finally woke me up to false teaching of the protestant tradition. Thanks ☦️

@@suevisser1592whoah interesting point!
Doesn't the word "so" mean "in this manner"? ("and so all Israel will be saved"). I don't believe Paul was referring to a "plan B," either.
@@littleredhen2894
You are correct.
New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49?
(John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18.

*Regarding John 19:37, I have found there exists a counter argument to your assertion that MacArthur is incorrect believing Zechariah 12 is pertaining to future Israel.
Here in
REVELATION 1:7 "Behold he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
Look at "mourn for him" in Zechariah 12:10. And look at "wail because of him" in Revelation 1:7.
These two scriptures are clearly parallels to John 19:37.
However John 19:37 says nothing of the mourning. And the scene at the cross suggests nothing of Israel mourning over Christ..."as one mourneth for his only son."
***In my opinion, it is clear that the mourning which is absent from the text in John 19:37, is absent for a reason.
The obvious reason being it hasn't happened yet.
A similar pattern to John referencing Zechariah exists when Jesus quotes Isaiah 61.
Both quote the scripture stopping mid verse and at a comma.
THE OT SCRIPTURE FOLLOWING THE COMMA IS DESCRIBING A FUTURE EVENT IN BOTH EXAMPLES (Luke 4:17-20, & John 19:37)
Personally I'm 100% convinced.
What is the redemptive plan of a future millennium? Is it the sacrifices of Eze. 45:17? Are they sacrificing lambs to the Lamb?
“was”
I’ll ask him the same question about Matthew 24; if Jesus were talking about a future generation, why was He using present tense “you” and “this” generation?
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”
Romans 7:3-4
“For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:”
Romans 11:24-26
wrong! Israel is the Church = the faithful OT and NT. WE (the Church/bride of Christ/body of Christ) is Israel. There are not two ways to salvation.
They promises were filled in Christ,it was the remnant and the church, all of Israel
There is only 1 Israel,.. the Israel of God ..and if Israel, after the flesh, repent they shall be grafted in again ...'Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are Not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are Not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed" (Rom 9)..
You are.

What is always ignore is the End Times prophecy in Revelation. We are in the End Times. So the following scriptures apply:
Revelation 2:9
“I know your afflictions and your poverty-yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan."
Revelation 3:9
"I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars-I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you."

Jew don’t need to became non-Jew to be saved.
Why? Simply „there is no Jew and Greek/non-Jew/gentile in Jezus”…
Big missunderstanding of being Jew topic arround this comment section 🙄
Here's another example, of a gentile and harlot, who came to the body of Israel, from the Old Testament supported by the New Testament...
Joshua 6:25
But Rahab the prostitute and her father's household and all who belonged to her, Joshua saved alive. And she has lived in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
Hebrews 11:31
By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.
The church is Abraham's seed.
Jesus is that promise ❤
In revelation there are 12 gates in the New Jerusalem with each
tribes name listed above it, and an angel guarding each gate to make
sure only the member of the tribe can get in. It is physically impossible
to enter New Jerusalem unless you go through one of these gates.
John MacArthur said the church is not Israel, and if this is the
case then John MacArthur cannot physically enter New Jerusalem
because the angels won't let him in.
This is why gentiles are grafted into Israel, Christianity has never understood this.
Please quote the exact passage where it says only members of a specific tribe will enter. It's not there. You're superimposing a view on Scripture.
The church is Israel and all in Christ will be saved
Yes this is correct. Any other view is carnal.
Exactly
Romans 11:11 clearly says what he is saying.
Remember, context is key, my friends:
"a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the GENTILES has come in.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
Romans 11:19-29
Thank you for this video!

Another Scofield.
John MacArthur is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
I agree about Israel, but isn't cessation a superimposed system?
The remnant of israel refers to the first jews who were the first Christians because they converted. A remnant means that something has been destroyed and a thing remains. The remnant of the old Israel became the New Israel.
God said....present Church is The Beast.
Good for MacArthur for speaking truth nowadays most Calvinists and Catholics are ready to stone you for saying this.
Read Joel ch 3, Zechariah ch 2,12-14, Ezekiel 36-39.
"...we get in trouble when we superimpose systems over the text..." - John MacArthur
“[We are to] put doctrine into [the Scriptures] and see if it survives.” - John MacArthur
Well, which is it, J-Mac????
I thought Israel meant "one who prevails with God"
So if You prevail with God doesnt that make you part of Israel.
Read in context Is very vital .. might as well believe things some charismatics Believe
I think you better read and pray over that belief, brother. God loves the Jews.
I think you might be right... 🙏🙏❤️
It’s nice to have these discussions. We can disagree but we are all one in the faith
“We can disagree about 99% of theology but we are one in the faith” 🤡
@@hippios How is it that I know that you're a CT without you actually saying it...?

Jews were saved by faith, just like us
After the tribulation non-believering Jews will understand Jesus is the messiah and be saved
I like John, BUT... he is wrong on this. Joshua 21:45 "all promises fulfilled" And, 1/3 (Zech) is not "All".
No sir you are wrong
Well explained
Romans 2:28-29
[28] For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical.
A completely wrong understanding of the text!
Joel ch 3, Zechariah ch 2,12-14, Ezekiel 36-39.
not all israel is of israel. not the children of the flesh. the israel of God was the faithful remnant who received jesus. this was made manifest on the day of pentecost. a feast of God
given to israel. they went and spread the gospel, bringing in the gentiles, whom God made into
one new man. throughout the old testament, a gentile could enter the covenant God made with the israel, and then be regarded "just as" any ethnic jew. and there has always been a remnant among the disobedient jews, who remained faithful to God. gentiles who are in christ have been grafted in among them, attached to the same root, branches on the same tree. there is no difference, no distinction. thus, "in this manner" all israel will be saved;
that is, the true israel of God, the faithful in christ from all nations.
if you are christ's, you are abrahams descendents, and heirs of the promises......
Amen
This video has convinced me to never buy a book by John MacArthur. Pray for everyone, that they will not be deceived by those who reject Jesus. Thank you
Are you implying that MacArthur has rejected Jesus?
@@beauchal Read First John 2:22-23 and 4:2-3. Also read Eph 2:11-22. Many preachers are on the fence or have been taught by those (or using study notes of the Bible) that work against Jesus and are extending the Old Covenant and still hoping for a Messiah.
You didn’t answer my question. Are you implying that MacArthur is not a Christian?
@@beauchal No. But I do not know who he has been taught by.
I agree with you
I think you have to read Romans chapter 11 on this. Romans chapter 11 clearly has three individuals separate. Paul’s audience is save the gentiles.
Paul has addressed the 7000 remnant Jews that were saved by grace that he referred to as “the elect that have obtained”
Then Paul immediately says “what of the others?” he says that the others after the remnant in national Israel are hardened in part. A partial hardening. And how long is this partial hardening?… Paul tells you… Israel is under a hardening in part UNTIL the full number of Gentiles has come in… And it is in this way that all Israel will be saved
All Israel consists of three groups that all believe or will believe in Jesus Christ for salvation
1) the 7000 remnant Jews that were set aside by God and saved by grace in Romans 11
2) the others of national Israel that were not part of the remnant that God has under a partial hardening UNTIL the full number of Gentiles has come in
3) the gentiles that were grafted into the natural tree as wild Olive branches, so as to provoke national Israel to jealousy.
I agree with you and it's my prayer for God to continue shining more revelation of His Word.
John 8.44
The disciples of Messiah were the true Isrealites, called Galileans.
Hagee not John M or the like.
Galatians 3: 29 says that if you have Jesus, you are Jewish. Jesus is the new Israel
Ephesians 2:13-22
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Romans 9:6-8:
"But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring".
Luke 13: 23-30:
"And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door. And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”
Galatians 6:12-17:
"It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
Revelation 2:9
