This a set from the recent Delfino MAZA 2023 major, which had players like MKLeo, Sisqui, Maister, ShinyMark, Skyjay, Gackt, and the winner of the tournament, Sparg0. This is not to mention Ken and Glutonny who are the focus of this video, as well as many other competitors (Goblin, Chag, AlanDiss, and AndresFn to name a few.)

Wario doesn't have a choice since his defensive options vs Sonic's approaches are not the best unless he has bike set up, which leaves him vulnerable to early edgeguards.
