Gluto could make top 5 in the end of the year ranking at this pace despite his lackluster first half of the year. What a beast, easily one of if not the most skilled and dedicated in the game.
It's wild that Light was losing composure and started yelling after being down 2-0 only for Leo to jump onto the stage and say "I am number one!" And take Lights controller and proceed to 6-0 Gluto.
I feel like you need an insane reaction time to keep up with Light when he's under the influence of Monsters 🤣 It was like night and day between his set in Winners semis and his other sets in Losers bracket, and he precisely started drinking Monsters after his loss in Winners bracket
@@nathannavarro1177to be fair onin plays a way more confrontational steve than acola and likes to use all his tools a little. Acola has mastered camping and using blocks/minecarts/anvil to reset neutral over and over, but he doesnt really ledgetrap or combo. Onin does all of steves abilities a little which is why he's way more entertaining to watch. Even as a non steve hater acolas steve is pretty boring to watch

My point was though its funny that you can tell by the way they talk about the characters that they're both way more familiar with one of the characters on the screen, and they both play those characters and voice the frustrations they have with faults in the characters and their appreciation for certain specific things that the player of said character does.

Anyone notice that Gluto was basically kinda ... "spaming" shield drops again and again. Even if he doesnt get a parry right away ... he just keeps going for it because the risk/reward of landing a parry on fox is HUGE. At first i thought it was just good timing but it legit looked like he just guessing and going for shield drops multiple times back to back and if he gets the Parry ... 60 damage or death to Fox. Clearly im not trying to downplay Gluto. He is amazing. But that seamingly simple strategy simply was super effective. Gluto landed so many Parries that Light was scared to go in like he usually would with nair and bair
It's not against Gluto, you're just describing how easy the match-up is for Wario. As Fox, you can't even approach Wario because his Nair out of shield can lead to a kill at almost any percent and it lingers for so long that it is going to trade with almost any move that Fox has besides a Back-air. Also you can't even touch Wario's shield in neutral, you get no combo at low percent and you get reversaled if you make the slightest mistake. That's at least a -2 to me, and I didn't even brought up how easy you can edgeguard Fox. If you wanted to downplay Gluto, you would have said that he should win 3-0 almost every time.
I wish Tweek would rerurn playing Wario. I guess Kameme also but they cant go further winning with this character. Only Glutonny is doing it big time. I hope Tweek chooses Wario and at least get his hands a break with Diddy.

Light is going to make top 2 just watch, this isn’t 2019 anymore. The old “top tiers” are soon going to get outplayed. Inkling hopefully makes a comeback soon because that character has insane potential

Wario can sit in shield and get 60% on you / kill you with waft at low percent out of a Nair or a grab, whereas if Fox gets a grab or any other move he gets... stage control ? The only good string I saw from Light was the dash-attack into F-tilt loop, but that's about it at low percent.
