Actually, they also have a G150. The G150 and the G280 were built in Israel and during the time I worked at Gulfstream I did the customer mods on the G280. The reason this plane is called the G280 instead of G250 like the other planes is that China was very interested in this plane, but the deal breaker was the initial plan to call it the G250. China has issues with the number 25 and so Gulfstream agreed to change the model number so they could sell multiple planes to China.
All I wanna know is how many passengers it seats, many Aerospace channels don’t get it, they just mention it in the middle where it’s not noticed. This is the most important info for me, all other keys have these things you mention, avionics, design, blabla😅
Beautiful plane but challenger 350 and preator 600 have nicer cabins with flat floors and the praetor has 4018 mile range and is fly by wire also has slightly better short field performance
Is there a parking brake sensor that feeds into the takeoff configuration warning system? Two recent fatal Citation crashes possibly were related to the lack of this feature.
