The Citation X seems like a “cheap” but very nice option for those who like/need a fast plane; specially if you’re going to pilot it yourself. But I believe the Phenom 300E is more interesting.
They look awesome tbh. Somebody once said a car is an expression of a feeling or feelings. Is it the same for planes/jets ? Would you know ?

@@garyturner1944 I believe it can be if a person is wealthy enough. There are no ugly jets 😊 but, in my case, it’s just a balance between cost/use/comfort. I wouldn’t mind owning a G700 but I don’t think it’s reasonable from my metrics 😊; I would have to be filthy rich to do something like that, but that’s me.

But there are some jets that are intended for the filthy rich because one thing is to NEED a jet, another is to WANT a jet. It’s exactly the same has with cars: you don’t need a Rolls Royce to go about your business… a BMW 5 series or a Mercedes E class would do the job better and cheaper and still with great comfort (and even some class). It’s just a matter of pondering the pros and cons (I’m only talking about “needs” of course). For example, I travel at least once a month and I would own a private jet if I could or thought it would be a necessity, but instead I have partial ownership of a jet through a company. It’s great for my use, the costs are much lower and I still have a jet always at my disposal. I was considering buying a jet and lease it when I’m not using it but I decided it was more of an headache than I wanted to deal with and the return was not worth having the money tied up (I looked at it as an investment and decided it was not a good enough one for me).

Why is Citation X on this list? It is in a different category to 3 of the other 4 jets(or maybe all 4) and the price is wrong. Try over $20M. It is also the only jet on this list that is not single pilot certified. I could be wrong there, the Learjet 75 may also be 2 pilot. The other 4 pricing was fairly accurate, maybe Honda Jet add another 750K, but the only Citation X you'll get for $3.5 million is a 20+ year old one with 20K+ hours, and even then you'll still need another pilot. All that said and done, how good would it be to own any of these? pretty damn fine!

Options come from 'knowing people' (in one biblical sense this would mean having sex with people) or adding value to peoples lives, or their loved ones. I want to add value to 'billionaires'. I want to look past millionaires who are limited to the road for example with 'supercars and hypercars'. Again this word simply means 'people who are connected to people with options'. Or 'people who are connected with people on top of hierarchies' But at the same time I visualize myself sat talking with engineers about plane/jet maintenance, safety features, new technology etc.
Edit your videos better. More than half the video is dedicated to the Honda jet. Also your list is terrible. Your list should’ve been Jets under 5 million since none of your jets cost over 5 million. For 10 million you can get way better choices than these little compact planes. It just doesn’t make any sense that you show a citation X which is a midsize but then you don’t show anything in the super midsize category which there are dozens of options under 10 million used. Not to mention you can get a freaking global Xpress under 10 million if it’s over 15 years old. Terrible terrible list

I prefer the Phenom 300E, wonderful decor, it really has a private jet style.
It also has the best range.... other than the citation X which really is in a different category, 2 pilot and $20M+, not $3.5M

If the Piaggio Avanti is a private jet, so is a Beechcraft King Air and any other twin Turboprop.
Most people put the avanti in th same category as jets because they are as stylish and as luxurios, while also flying at the same speed
