Actually I'll give you best advice. Find a pond where crocs come. Keep a collection point near pond. Then let crocs come, place cage next to collection point, as soon as crocs come, it takes 5 sec for them to break the cage, but if you pick and throw in collection point it won't break out. Build setup near pond and farm 7-8 crocs easily. I use to make 70k dinks daily
@K/D Gentlemen For the emu's (only the light colored ones), if you use a wooden cage they won't attempt to break out. Only on the iron cage do they try and break out.
Haven't noticed any functional difference between the wooden and metal cages. Perhaps it's that you don't have to lower their health as much with metal?
@@KD_Gentlemen any, some might just need damageing first, but again u can use the torch, stun them, hit them, walk away and stun again like 5s later, than trap them
wild dogs are super easy to trap -- no need to fight or lure them into a trap. As they walk around, every few steps they will sit down for a moment. Walk up to them from behind and drop a cage on them and Bob's the proverbial. I use metal cages (haven't played with the wooden ones) and the dogs don't even struggle to get out, much like the 'roos. Incidentally, what the other guy said: to catch birds, the only thing that reliably works for me is to stun them with a torch and immediately drop a cage on them. Baiting birds just is way too erratic; I've had traps baited for birds sit there for 2-3 days, and in an area that always had them fluttering around in, and -- nada. Stunning them is much more efficient; but I don't think I got many dinks for them, so in the end, why bother unless they are up on the bulletin board? Way too tedious for my liking.

I was testing this metgod for my speed run challenge. Not sure it beats metal detecting yet but its sure is a good money maker.
+1 on this, I was able to send off some full health crocs this way.
I kinda link this idea. Will have to try it out on our new island and see how it goes
@@WackoMcGoose yes you can use wooeden cage to send full health corcs, just as soon as they ate trapped pick and throw.
It works ive done it alot
7-8 crocs? Most I get spawning close to each other is a couple ...?!?

This was our first assumption but in testing was not the case. We could find no functional difference between the two except wood was cheaper to make.
😅😂😂 idk why these characters reminds me of cheech & chong nm
Idk why but that's ok!
I trap jackaroos for extra fertilizer
Can do that. We just leave them in a pit around town and they build up alot of poo.
alternatively you can wait till past 6pm,. then use the torch to stun them and place the cage on them
Which animal?

Interesting, will test n trail it.
best way to catch birds and Kangaroos
I play with a controller and constantly drop my stupid spear while attacking something. It’s not a good scenario.
Are the buttons close to eachother or something? We don't play console so we got no idea.

Some of the information of this video is outside since it has been updated. Most/some animals you don't need to reduce the health before trapping
would have like it if they implement a trap for the alpha..
Could not agree more. We tried to capture an alpha 1st try and could not get it.
I caged the green alligator in the mines and couldn’t turn him in at the drop off spot
I would just save the day then restart the game and try again. The caged animals should not despwan.
Animal food. I keep traps in front of my grinders and I will have one or two to deliver.
