What is your favorite Chrome extension? It's great that NoScript is now finally available on Chrome. I've been using it for many years on Firefox and it gives you more control than a standard ad blocker if you know how to use it. 😉 Thanks for watching!
@TechGumbo The first on on this list, looks very useful to me, ones that I install on all my PC's are ad block, ad block plus, and Ghostery have a couple of others running tests on them, like "fakespot" and IE-Based tab.
From these, I like Print Friendly, because I prefer to view articles without clutter. But I use the "Summarize the Internet" extension more often because it also summarizes the text chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/summarize-the-internet/hiilcnldmlehobiillipbcdkhkfbigfk
@@marekkc6327 the best one to prevent shitty websites from creating ads profile on you. Those website wont die as ton of people never heard adblock exists
My favorite extension is called AHA Music. Let's say you hear and like a song that was used in a RUclips review/reaction video and you want to know what it's called but the uploader didn't post the song in details of the video. This plugin will sample the video and try to find the song for you. Another great feature it comes with, if it finds the song on spotify, it will enable a button to click to launch spotify and you can start listening right away.
My fav extension is: Session Buddy Saves me a lot of time remembering websites I use regularly, and I can save them in separate sessions (and name them individually). Can be tricky at first to set everything up, but once you know how it all works - easy to use, and the sessions can be backed up manually. Cheers
It's not my favorite extension but one of the most useful for me. Vanilla Removes only the cookies that you have not whitelisted, unwanted cookies can be removed at anytime. Thanks for another helpful video. Print friendly & PDF and No Script are now on my check it out list.

This is a reason why I subscribed on your channel , you have always great things , thanks for this video is very very useful . I should try one of these extensions !! 😃
I think these are amazing chrome extensions. Next time you should also include CallHippo crome extention. It has a cool business feature to know the time and number validity of any number anywhere.
Another excellent list of extensions... My favourite extension (not on this list) is, Chrono Download Manager, yeah it is similar to Download Manager I guess, Chrono Download Manager lets you restart failed downloads or pause downloads and even resume a download even if you got cut off via bad Wifi... I like it, and have used it for years now... :)
Hover Zoom + is my favorite extension on Chrome. It enlarges pictures just by hovering your cursor over the image. However, not all pictures enlarge, but most do. And PrintFriendly has been a favorite for quite some time. Another great, useful video, thank you!
Some I use: Tampermonkey - Userscript Manager, 2-Column Google Results - Loads 2 columns of search results, AutoPagerize - Automatically loads additional pages, RightToCopy - Copy text even when it's protected, Disable HTML5 Autoplay - disables videos from starting automatically
My favourite Chrome Extension has to be _Grammarly,_ I use it (or it uses me) every single time I type. Its the best automatic spell checker I've ever found and used. It also advises the best context for a sentence and tells you the "theme" of what you've written. Overall Grammarly is an extension that I couldn't live without as I am such a terrible typist. I blame my big uncoordinated fingers/small keys combination as the fault setter but hey that's my excuse, what's yours? FYI: From your video pointers I picked up Custom Cursor, I like the basic cursor pack with it no need for the myriad & plethora of other designs (probably in their quadrillions) and also that screen splitter thingy may be handy when I'm duo-tasking. Anyway thanks for a good video explaining some useful Chrome Apps! 😉👍
I've been following your channel for quite a while. As a matter of fact, I have downloaded several of your extension options and found them very useful, especially: Fill Page Screen Capture, Google Translator, UBlock Origin, Wikiwand, Dark Reader, Noisli, and Grammarly, among others. Keep publishing more Chrome and Windows extensions and Apps. Thanks!
Great video and fantastic service. TechGumbo focuses on useful web services. By eliminating the wheat from the chaff, it helps Internet users improve their Web experiences. Great job!
Haven't checked out your channel in while. I've been missing out! That Tab Resize looks interesting. Been using Vivaldi specifically for that reason but I'll try it out on Chrome - Thanks! Hey, don't know how far your expertise goes but ever thought of doing websites for Web Developers? Maybe beginners and/or novices? Just a thought.
Most important extentions : adblock, adblock for youtube (blocks video ads) and ublock origin (privacy and ad blocker) those really can improve your web experience.
This is very useful video. Could you please find the similar or alternative to “Scrapbook plus” that I was using in Firefox until it was decommissioned. It is one of the best offline web scrapping to store the entire website and allow to remove or edit the unnecessary contents. Pls let me know if you find anything
Hi, thanks for all the cool videos you share. I access few of the free movie streaming channels which always redirects the page as I click on the play or download button. Can you please advise me how to get rid of this problem?
what about Ecoisia "Ecosia uses the ad revenue from your searches to plant trees where they are needed the most. I like avast browser. It blocks lots of ads and has "bank mode" which creates a virtual machine which I use for banking, shopping, and paying bills. Anytime I'm logged into a site where a hacker might use my account. I also never let browsers save my password or other info.
Keep in mind that website owners fund their sites with ads. What's unacceptable to me is the unacceptable tracking cookies that track your location, likes, dislikes, and personal preferences. Chrome and other browsers offer several anti-tracker blockers worth installing.
I like using Popup Blocker Pro, minerBlock, uBlock Origin, uBlock Origin Extra, Adblock for RUclips, SetupVPN (a free VPN), Augmented Steam, Autojoin for Steamgifts, Keepa, TinEye, QuickMark QR Code Extension, and Twitter Media Downloader.
Sanjay Ahuja - I use Tamper Monkey to keep the old YT layout, as a side effect, Grammarly does not work properly, so I switched to Ginger. It is just as good as Grammarly... :)
Pls upload the opera add ons and firefox extensions in next video . It will be very helpful for everyone .Tnx for uploading such kind of immense important extensions :)
@TechGumbo The extension I have used since a while ago may be highly recommended. It's "MONKNOW NEW TAB", which can customize the extension for launching new tabs, and has an interface similar to the Windows lock screen. You can also quickly import bookmarks after the latest update. Finishing, very beautiful and easy to use! chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/monknow-new-tab-personal/lnbjajkbekhkgablenknhapphbdbldeh
I have installed both the Print and download extensions, on I have had issues when I use Whatsapp Web , if someone has sent me a PDF and I am using Whatsapp Web, and when I attempt to download the page onto my desktop or computer, the page freezes...I had attempted several times and decided to remove both extensions,
