I lived in a really small village in Italy in the mid 90s and all the teams were on a cereal box. I saw the Seahawks helmet and it was the sickest thing I'd seen. Then the local library had some old 25 page book on the 83-84 hawks.
Growing up in the PNW I always rooted for the hometown teams. But in the 90s I was all on the Sonics. In the early 2000’s during the Mike Holmgren Era I started to pay closer attention to the game. Then in 2005, a friend invited me to SEA vs NYG. The game where the 12th man and (back then) Qwest Field got known for the noise. Watching Jeremy Shocky get layed out in the end zone and Joe Jurevicius catching a bomb by Hasselbeck just made me fall in love with the team! Leaving the stadium that day I just remember just being able to hear a load ringing in my ear 😂
My whole mom’s side of the family is from Washington, but I was born and raised in hour north of Los Angeles. I didn’t have a team growing up. The Niners seemed too far away and my mom’s side of the family was all Seahawks fans. There was no LA team snd San Diego didn’t seem like a good choice either. The first season of NFL I can remember watching all the way through was the 2005 season when we went to the Super Bow.l I stopped watching after that year. I got into a bit of trouble through the next few years so we will fast forward to when I started straightening my stuff out and lo and behold, it happened to be the 2013 season. From that point on I’ve been an avid Seahawks fan. First jersey was given to me by my dad and it was a Lofa jersey. He is also in LA native but due to marriage it was forced upon him 🤞😅
Glad to see Lofa on the show. Was sad to see KJ go to the hated 9ers but he's still one of my favorite guys. I became a Seahawks fan in the mid nineties when I moved to Seattle.
The Seahawks are still working on mastering their cutting edge offense & defense. Looking at the NFL's games so far, I'll take three & zero while learning these systems...awesome! Think of the potential possibilities if both sides of the ball continue to improve week in & out!? GO HAWKS!
Plank owner . Prior to 1976 I was a raiders fan. The first pro football game I attended was ,1980 or 81 Seattle destroyed a charger team with fouts at an 44to 17 on Monday night
My first seahawks memory was losing a bet against my older brother when I bet on them winning while watching a replay vs the oilers since I didn't think they would lose twice to the same team in the same week. I was like 7 and dumb.
I been a Seahawk fan since I was a boy listening to games driving long distances with pops. Also him screaming at tvs and kicking them from time to time hahaha. So I’ve been a born and raised 12
My origin story is kind of funny. I became a Seahawks fan when I was about 12 years old but before that I was a steelers “fan”. I was a Steelers fan because my uncle was drafted by them played in a Super Bowl with them and was basically the only team I watched as a kid because of him. During this time my sisters husband was a Seahawks fan and they were terrible! I would talk all types of crap saying I would jump off a cliff if I were a Seahawks fan. Fast forward to 1997 said uncle went to Seattle in free agency and the rest is history and I been a 12 for 27 years
Geno was getting pressure all day. Geno had a great game. but that defense!!! what a turn around from last year. thats what everyone should be excited about. I felt bad for that offense.
I became a Hawks fan in about 2017, I had a friend in school who would talk about them and I started watching them. From that day on I became a bigger fan of the hawks then my friend was. Ive never missed a game. Go hawks! 12th man!!
I was born into this , my whole family love the seahawks and I am from tac town washington 253! I have watched every game since 1990 from the kingdome to quest to centurylink to now lumen from the highs to absolute lows and baby my seahawks are 3-0!! SEAA
Origin Story: Was 11 years old, living in Florida, but born and raised in Cali through 1st Grade. A cousin and older brother were Dallas fans - this was the Landry/Staubach/SBs/Pitt rivalry era - so, naturally, so was I. For whatever reason, just kids' stuff, they started teasing me about being a fan just because they were. Well, duh! It happened to be December 1975. The Seahawks and TB franchises had been announced. I thought both logos were cool, but really took to the simplicity of the Native-influenced Seahawks logo. Figured if I was going to change teams, may as well make a clean break and take a new one. The logo plus being West Coast = Seahawks. I've never lived in Seattle or anywhere near the PNW, btw, but have been a fan since before there was a team on a practice field. Never been to a game in Seattle. Saw them play in SD long ago. (Hint, hint...)
@@AllDayPod I'm all for it! If I had the $$ to bet on the Hawks, there are a couple of "free money" bets I'd love to make! (Can't bet in Korea, though. Gotta get back to the States. LOL.) I'll settle for watching at 9:20 AM Tuesday for now. LOL... Thanks for responding, guys. That's a treat in itself.
If my quarterback is throwing picks I’d rather them be fluky tipped balls than throwing it right to the defense like a hefty amount of starting QBs do in the league
QUESTION FOR YOU LOFA! HAS THERE BEEN A HARDER HITTER IN THE NFL SINCE KAM CHANCELLOR…. ME PERSONALLY I DONT THINK EVEN CLOSE. Much love thanks for continuing to do the podcast, KJ doing work right now for some 1-2 nobody’s… all jokes aside it’s cool to see the Seattle linebacker legacy get handed back to the GOAT of my early years. Hawks forever robbed in 05
This team is on there X’s and O’s defense is on fire. I liked seeing Cobe get in there little bit dude can play like coach Mike said post game players balling out in practice are going to see the field.
First of all, Go Geno and GO HAWKS!!! Ok, that said, I grew up in the military. My mom didn't like sports, so we didn't get to have any sports growing up. Unfortunately, since I love sports. On the upside, I would have ended up a Bear's fan 😶 Well, when my mom divorced my stepdad, it was for some reason my choice where to move. Between Austin, Chicago, and Seattle. I chose Seattle (different long story). So, I was super happy to move to a city with so many sports. I had no "home" growing up military, so I was super happy to adopt Seattle and the Seahawks (not a baseball fan, and by the time I could watch, the Sonics were gone😡 Otherwise I could have been a fan of both of those). Between my evening shift job and not having a DVR, I couldn't start watching until '06. So, the timing was accidental, but firm fan through thick and thin, even if it wasn't as much thin. I was quite pissed last year, but not about losses, about the waste of talent. Love and respect to Holmgren and Carroll. I'm so excited and happy about this era of Coach MacDonald!
The "Geno haters" whiners are unthinking homers who think "fan" equals brainless brown-noser. Critique is not criticism nor hate. (You may need a dictionary to understand this response.)
Geno is 2nd in Pass Percentage. 1st in Pass Completions. 3rd in Yards. And did it while being only 7th in Attempts. It seems like haters refuse to change their positions in the face of information to the contrary.

Became a hawks fan because how dominant Lofa was at USC. Then I said whatever team he joins I'm a fan of for life
Glad to see Lofa on the show. Was sad to see KJ go to the hated 9ers but he's still one of my favorite guys. I became a Seahawks fan in the mid nineties when I moved to Seattle.

The Geno deniers” obviously don’t watch any of the other top QB’s in the league.
Watching the little fella constantly get checked by Lofa is great viewing.
MIKE MORRIS A BEAST!

We need to sign Geno to a 4 year contract.

Amazing!! Let’s go Jennifer.
Derek hall is coming on!!!
You guys are awesome, but I miss KJ, how's he doing?
Seahawk gear boys!
Geno haters are the same people who were overrating that guys who backs up Justin’s fields
Geno isn't a problem. He's playing good ball. Today was probably his worst day and we beat 'em by 21.
@@mikewold8996 yeah the two int isn’t just some bad decision int. Maybe the first one kinda but not all on him
