Start Your D&D Campaigns like KotoR, NOT Skyrim!

Starting your D&D campaign doesn't have to always happen in a tavern, nor do you have to give your players a crap ton of lore dumps to get them acclimated to the game world. By learning lessons from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and contrasting those lessons with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's game intro, we can develop some frameworks to introducing our players to our campaigns.
