This week I head over to see my old mukka swin in Coventry, before making the 7 hour journey north into Scotland to go camping and exploring for 5 days. What an adventure !! Join us as we camp inside a pinecone that isn’t a pinecone … a royal bothy and under a tarp by a loch…
I haven’t been adventuring in Scotland for many years so I was completely buzzing to be back up exploring what the cairngorm national park has to offer!!!

There are many cairns on the Balmoral estate, with Prince Albert's being the most impressive.. The trail to see them all is a fab wee wander. Cheers for a great vid

Had a survival course in The Cairns many years ago. Got caught in a blizzard started onset of exposure but made to to a both. Got a nice fire going. Could not see a couple of yards in front of us. Can be a very unforgiving area, and take you by surprise. Great recording thanks for posting it is a beautiful area.

From looks of it ,the weather held out most time you were up there.. and you can never have enough time in Scotland. Anywhere else 5days is enough but Scotland has so much to see doesn't it.
I'm up there there a few times myself this year . So very excited to get back there .
Great video, i believe those RAF Officers are still up there trying to find their way home, as you know officers always get us squaddies lost lol.
All I would say is we need to see more clean up on how to keep your gear and nature clean and tidy! Would serve as a good guide/lesson for everyone looking to live the life! Blessings and love xxx

Power generator . Like the appreciation for the t4 had one years ago and sold it and bought a car, kept the car a month and got rid to buy another t4, also a 2.5 , bought it with 185k on the clock and now has about 275k on the clock.

Always enjoy all the vids from both East Anglian Bushcraft and Simon, the bloke in the woods! When are you having another collaboration? A canoeing vid would be great, may be a challenge or adventure? I love Norfolk and Suffolk and spend at least two weeks a year on the Broads. I’m bringing the canoe this year, makes a change from canals and reservoirs for me.

Native Scott's pine regeneration is as sexy as hell where the ancient big ol trees have the tiddly seedlings geminating all about.. Get the brown bear, lynx and wolves back and trees regenerate like crazy, keep the browsers and grazers moving on nervously is all it took in Yellowstone and glacier park USA.
