YESsss, Plz do the extras to go with the bag!!!!! I am a die-hard Crafter & I believe I would really enjoy & be able to enjoy the entire set!!!!! Love Ur sewing tutorials they are great!!! Welcome, Good Morning to U & your Beautiful daughter helping U today!!!
Mila is absolutely adorable and sweet! And obviously gets all her good looks from her mommy! (Don’t tell her dad I said that). 🤣 Such a cute bag! Def making this one for a Christmas present!
Jess, I've been watching your videos for months and thanks to you, I managed to make lots of bags that I adore. I love how enthusiastic you are about everything you make. Totally infectious joy!
I have been looking for a bag for travel for cosmetics, etc...like a train case. I think this may work with some heavier stabilizer! I am fairly new to bag making but feel confident that I could do this. Thank you for the zipper instructions, I want to use that technique in all my bags.
I made this bag today! I had installed a zipper like this before so that didn’t bother me! I really like it, I put a lot of sewing tools in it, so when I get together with friend to quilt, I can grab it and go. I put in a really stiff bottom in it . Thanks for your videos!
I'm struggling with getting the decovil to adhere to the jelly vinyl. I was sewing on the front pockets, it came detached and is all bubbly and wonky! I can't undo the pockets! Lots of cuss words were involved! Do you have a video about fusing interfacing to vinyl?
Bought this pattern and made this bag after watching this video. Watched you make it 3 more times and just finished my first. It is absolutely adorable. It came together really quickly. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you so much for showing this! I’m just about finished making one for my great nephew’s nursery goodies. It is so adorable and surprisingly faster and easier to make than I thought. Excellent gift suggestion!
Thank you! I used your tutorial to help with the zipper placard - I was getting very stuck with that. Mine looks great and I learned some things here too!
I would definitely like to see the other 2 projects! That would be an awesome replacement to my current sewing box! I would put my most used sewing tools in it!!
Hi Jess, FYI, Alot of us do this to sell or give as gifts. Speaking for myself I dont make anything for my work rooms i buy those. its less expensive. So please go on that as we are all learning here .I believe. I haven't sewn for years therefor there are alot of new items like Jelly vinyl or patterned clear vinyl ,soft vinyl and so forth. Deco light and heavy , I did use those but not a real good fan of them. But if you want a stiff bag or clutch /pouch then I would use those but if your going to Quilt most would like it soft. So please help us out and lets us know both ways. Your a sweetheart with lots of education and you have a good sense of humor. I have been watching you for a couple of months now. I like your take on the different styles and ways of doing things. Your daughter is so cute.
“Will you show me how to make one for myself?” “Go watch the video” 😂😂😂 sounds like dialogues with me and my children. This is so cute!! Can’t wait to make one for myself!
Love this bag and very grateful for the tutorial! Would it be possible to use a separating zipper instead of the style used here? I’m thinking of using one because it will be better looking and make access to the inside of the bag easier. Or not?
I want to something for each of my family members (only 4). I'm thinking that with masculine fabric I could make this for my son-in-law and fill it with snacks and/or emergency supplies to leave in the car. (first aid, tire pressure gauge, flares, etc.)
Jessica I really want to make this tool bag for my daughter . Where can I get the pattern? I noticed you were saying pice E in the video . Is there a pattern I can purchase ?
Hi Jess, still hoping you are someone can answer a couple questions. 1: Can I use a separating zipper instead of the style used here? 2: You said you used 100 wt poly in the bobbin. This surprised me as the 45 wt side would look so much better than the 100 wt side of the sewn seam. At any point did you switch to a 40-50 wt thread? Like on the strap? 3: which version of the two totes you showed had the stiffest sides? I want mine to have stiff sides. 4: What water resistant fabric did you use and where do you buy it? I hooe you will see this and respond. Many thanks!
Your videos are great. A little tip, to pass along, finger pressing is ok, but can be improved with a little roller. Quick, and they produce a firmer fold when you are ready to topstitch
Mila is so pretty... and just a duplicate of you!! I'm going to make this for myself! I'm going to lower one of the short ends and turn this into a dog carrier for my little yorkie...aka Elle Woods and Bruiser!! 👠💄👛🐩
Yes please do a tutorial for the extras. I liked the pattern so much I bought it twice by accident!

This is a great Baby shower gift !
This needs to be one of our Bag making Bee kits. 😂🤣 I love it! ❤
Fun bag and good for gifting. I think I will need to try leaving the lining open as I don’t have good luck in perfecting the outside closure
Great idea!
I can't wait to get this pattern and make this project. Can you please tell me where you get your waterproof water resistant and wax canvas. Thanks.
Do you have a pattern for scrapbooking supplies? Scissors pens etc. I’m going to try this for it see how it turns out. Love your channel

I’d love a tutorial on the drawstring inserts!
When I saw this, the first thing I thought of was using waterproof canvas for a gardening bag.
I have several vintage sewing machines that I usually service. This would be great to hold all the tools I use.
Yes! Love that idea
Jessica I really want to make this tool bag for my daughter . Where can I get the pattern? I noticed you were saying pice E in the video . Is there a pattern I can purchase ?

Has Mila starting sewing with you on anything? Does she want to take after momma and sew stuff like you?
Please tell us where you got the fabulous dog fabric you made the sample bag out of.
It's from the new Tula Pink line called "Besties"

Thank you for this video. You helped me from losing my mind while making the lining!!!! Haha it came out beautifully 😅
Yes please to drawstring video! 😊👍🏼❤
What type/weight of vinyl are you using for this?
I suggested this one yesterday and here it is 😂 your just that good lol
You’re the magic!
could you do it as a drop in lining
I another wait to make one
What is a good substitute for decovil light? I can NEVER find it
Sometimes I use a combo of decorbond on top of a featherweight interfacing, but it depends on what exterior fabric you use and what you’re making.
Did you try Wawak? Recently they seem to have this in stock.
😂 ❤ love you told Mila to watch the video to learn how to make it !!!!
😂😂😂
My husband paints. So I'm gonna make this for him to transport paints and brushes and misc supplies.
