Hmmmm Journey To Silius and Whomp Em look Pretty Cool - never heard or played these 2 games - think I will add them to my video game wish list - bring on PART 2!! 😊😊😊😊
Even though I’ve yet to finish it, Cabal was one of the first games I purchased when I started buying NES games as an adult, specifically because I heard that it was the spiritual predecessor to one of my all-time favorite arcade games: BLOOD BROTHERS. If you haven’t played that, you need to find a way to give it a try, it’s awesome. Wild Guns was the closest we got to getting a home port of Blood Brothers
Damn that was a SOLID list of games; definitely a case of “better late than never!” In some ways I think it’s actually better to have discovered some of thee games as an adult, when with 30-40 years of video game experience to look back on, you might have a better perspective to truly appreciate a game like Shatterhand. My favorite NES games that I first played as an adult: Mega Man 6, Castlevania, Power Blade, LifeForce … AND SILVER SURFER
17:33 I thought about the missing Gummi Beas game. I think Gummi Bears was a Disney Channel show while the others played on non-subscription channels. I may be wrong though. Another childhood favorite of mine which never got a game is Fraggle Rock.
@@CMRetroGaming There are probably people who worked at Capcom / Disney around the time who are still around that would be great to question about the development of these games. Did that Disney Afternoon Collection game have any retrospectives or documentaries such as the Tatio Legends packs?
Games I've found as an adult.. Kabuki Quantum Fighter Kirbys Adventure (crazy??) Jackal Whomp Em Rainbow Island Kickle Cubicle Adventures of Lolo Abadox Dragon Spirit Gun Smoke M.C. Kids
Pretty good list. My friend had time lord as a kid. Honestly it was just okay imo, but we did appreciate how creative the game was for its time, no pun intended, but the gameplay was mid. A couple I loved that I didn’t play until being an adult was Blaster Master, The Guardian Legend, and Ducktales 2.
What are some NES games you discovered as an adult?
I can t wait for part two, nice video

LOL, thanks man. I'm going to work on part 2 tonight.
Awesome list of games can’t wait for part 2
Thanks man.
Nice video idea! There was a few retro games I didn't discover until later on in life!! Mainly RPGs like Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior, etc!
Thanks man. Yeah I wouldn't the had the patience for RPG's when I was a kid.

I also feel like, as a NES fan, I actually appreciate them more. I would have loved Siler Surfer if II had it as a kid.
If I had 3 wishes the 1st and 2nd would be that there was a Gummi Bear game and I had it now lol. I’ve been saying that for years.
I know right. Why did Gummi Bears get discriminated against? They made a game for every other Disney afternoon show.
We got a buttlload of SMURFS video games, but never any Gummi Bears games. Doesn’t make sense.
Gummi Bears for the win

Yeah, I'm not sure. Either way, considering the simple platform games that Disney-CAPOM made a Gummi Bears game would have been easy to make.

@@CMRetroGaming They had the mechanic implemented in Ducktales. Maybe they were concerned the games would be too similar.

Kirbys Adventure (crazy??)
Jackal
Whomp Em
Rainbow Island
Kickle Cubicle
Adventures of Lolo
Abadox
