    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  27 дней назад

      Could be the pressure sensor could be the sensor on the high pressure fuel pump or it could be the high pressure fuel pump itself. Being the timing chain was replaced meaning the hpfp was removed I’d look into that for sure.

    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  27 дней назад

      @izzetaraboga_272 , that code is "fuel rail or system pressure too high".
      Could be caused by,
      • Faulty fuel injector system equipment, which could be a bad fuel pressure sensor, fuel injector, or pressure fuel pump
      • Blocked fuel filters
      • Damaged or kinked fuel lines
      • Defective fuel pressure regulation

    • @Mre16762

      Im having a similar problem myself, I replaced the low pressure pump a few months ago and the relays which seemed to somewhat fix it however now it seems to decide when it wants to start and when it doesn't. Weirdest thing is it does start but the dies a few seconds later and the struggles to maintain idle. I just got the sensor and I'm going to be replacing it soon, if you have any new info let me know and I can share with you what I've found too.

    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  Год назад

      That's a code for the low pressure side.
      It might be caused by,
      Low fuel level
      Faulty Low Pressure Fuel System Sensor
      Low Pressure Fuel System Sensor harness is open or shorted
      Low Pressure Fuel System Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

    Could this be related to a P0089 code?

    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  6 месяцев назад

      If the sensor is faulty yes but it could also be related to the high pressure fuel pump having issues be it a faulty pump or a worn through cam follower. Could also be the intank pump as well. It’s something that needs proper diagnosis or you’re just throwing parts at it.

    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  Год назад

      I believe the later b7's used the shorter sensor, and the earlier b7's used the longer sensor. I tried using a short length one in my 05.5 b7, when it had the long sensor, and it did not like it. It made it run rough

    Could this bad fuel rail pressure sensor affect my cars fuel pump duty cycle, mine is constantly at around 70-75% and gives me p310b.

    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  8 месяцев назад

      I suppose that it's possible, but there are other things that I would look into for that first.
      1. Your fuel filter. If it's plugged, it can raise the pumps duty cycle because it has to work harder to push fuel through.
      2. Your fuel pump controller. (Mine was located under the rear passenger seat, under a cover with 3 screws.) When the controller starts to go bad, it raises your pumps duty cycle.
      3. The pump itself. When the pump starts to go bad, the duty cycle increases to try and make up for the weak pump.
      For me, my duty cycle dropped significantly with a new controller. I replaced with a used one to to see if it would help first, then upgraded to an rs4 controller.

    • @Soijakastike
      @Soijakastike 8 месяцев назад

      @@2brokeurowners672 Yeah, I've done the fuel filter and HPFP already.
      The previous owner had changed the fuel pump itself but I have to look up for that fuel pump controller possibility, didnt think of that. Thanks.
      Quite strange that the only code I get is the P310B, and it only comes when coldstarting, guess it relates to that high fuel pump duty cycle % (i hope).

      @@2brokeurowners672 Yes I know you meant the LPFP 😁Is there anyway to test the controller if it is the faulty?

    • @2brokeurowners672
      @2brokeurowners672  8 месяцев назад

      @Soijakastike , the only easy way that I know, is if you drive your car for a little bit, and then touch your controller, if the surface of it is hot, then it's probably bad.
      My old one would get extremely hot after a short drive.
