I just stumbled onto this channel. What a fascinating combination of seeing the aircraft and hearing the actual ATC communications. Subscribed for sure!
ATC didn't say anything about no delay until KLM was already on the runway. And only on the second time saying cleared for take off. Don't know if anything was said about no delay before being clear onto the runway. Seems like an ATC goof. If Delta was that close, why have KLM go onto the runway without saying your cleared to takeoff with no delay before KLM got on the runway.
EXCELLENT job by the KLM crew. If you need some extra time (probably unexpected), don't let you being pushed by ATC. Don't do anything rushed when not ready and just stop on the runway. Also good job by ATC when making the decision of stopping the KLM aircraft because of the risk of KLM and Delta being to close to each other (KL take off and DL going around at the same time).
@@samthelittleman1 who knows maybe an EICAS message popped up by the time they were in the runway, we don't know. You couldn't blame the crew on this one, never.
@@samthelittleman1 Yes, they should be ready to go. But during taxiing in to position on the runway anything can happen and give the crew a reason to stop for a couple of seconds before starting the take off roll. I am happy to see that the crew takes their time and ignores the ‘without delay’ for a moment. Safety first and solving bad sequencing by ATC second.
KLM-Kan Leave (n a) Minute (or 3)...those atc guys must have nerves of steel..he sounded calm but very adamant about getting that KLM off the ground. If that had been me i would have been shouting so loud at that KLM pilot he could have heard me wo his headphones on. THAT was crazy.
Even the slightest delay, 3 min, and this was a serious problem. Wonder the KLM pilots could have done better besides powering up to take off 3 minutes earlier.
You are not required to be pushed around and cause an accident if you are not perfectly ready. All because of bad American infrastructure not being able to handle the traffic load
@@rensciencei agree with you. Also, not relevant to the video but i feel like ATC always give priority to domestic airlines for landing or pushing back from gates.

Cool video Kevin those engines on the a321 sounded great
Man...that's 321 buzzsaw while overhead gave me the chills!
So, that's what the planform of an A321 looks like. Good look, better sound!
The Flying Dutchman was not in a hurry at all!
I see this kind of situation for the first time, to be honest. Thanks 👍

What a nice surprise to see the KLM takeoff and a Go Around of the Delta plane. Thank you so much for that Kevin, see you soon.

I guess he just wanted to pose for AVL.
Wow that was close.

In principle, yes, but communicate clearly. "UNABLE" would have helped.
they should be ready to go as soon as they get on the runway, not sitting around when instructed no delay. I wouldn't consider that an excellent job
Yep I watched this live yesterday and it seemed like KLM was just lollygagging, not paying attention. They definitely seemed at fault to me.

Great work LAX ATC!
787 dreamliner❤
Air traffic controller error on this one.
would have been cool to see the a321 land coming off the go-around
Nice
The seperation in the USA is really pushing it. The recent incidents speak for themselves...
Congratulations 👏👏👏

Even with the expedite takeoff, it still may be a go around for Delta. Way to close sequencing.
KLM ✈️💯👏👏👏
ATC puts them in there pretty tight. No room for delay. Also, if you do that, you need to make sure KLM is aware of it and ready.
Oops
I think that would have been a go-around even if they turned and burned
Delta could not make it due to poser KLM. Overshot of Delta was breathtaking!
Hi there.. I just heard people coping exact same thing. This happened to my content as well. Keep fighting.
I hope I subscribed the legit LAX Live!

ATC tower to KLM: Captain, I have a phone number for you to call...
No pilot deviation, just not ready to go.
Wrong. ATC messed that one up
Maybe they should NOT be so tight on flights
Try organizing 50 flights per hour and +70 during peak times.
KLM 💙💙💙💙💙💙
No delay… means turn and burn?? Ha ha ha ha
Did KLM fall asleep? Not good.

June 2024 was not good month to flight!!! Too many troubles happened
Hello everyone
Awesome shots of Delta Airlines for go around while KLM was still sitting there on the runway Kevin. 💙❤️🤍 💙💙💙
