How mesmerising! I became lost watching this while listening to the soothing music and commentary. The final touch of addition the whirling dust was a stroke of a genius. I am happy to absorb and take in any immersive detail from the world of Dune.. much like this sandworm itself!
Thank you sooo much! I hope it does as well. Slow and steady wins the race! I really appreciate your encouragement! A new video is coming out this Saturday called Futility. My first attempt at doing an art piece more personal meaning. Maybe in a few more years the RUclips algorithm will show me favor! 😁
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! It's one of my earlier videos that are a bit rough (I still had lots to learn) and thank you for subscribing too! I really appreciate your support! I hope you enjoy my upcoming videos!
I know this is the traditional type of work from the book covers, but I really like the Denis Villenueve worm design the most. It’s the most accurate to the description I’m the novel, which describes it’s mouth looking like an eye. Finally someone actually read the source material in pre-production. Amazing job on the sculpture though. Muad’Dib approves.
Thank you! I haven't had a chance to get to the theater yet to see it. But yes the design for the 2021 DUNE is incredible! One day... I may try the the new DUNE worm design! I'm hoping to see it next week!
I'm so glad you were able to stumble across my video. Thank you for watching! You know, I kind of wish the jaw was shorter too! Would not have had to add so many teeth! I really appreciate the view! 😁
Amazing work as always! I thought your first take on the body looked more like the harlequin demon than Kermit! The teeth looked arduous but maaaaaaan is the final product worth it! I also see a little Langolier in the mouth as well! Keep it up!
@@clayformations1638 They can only remake it if they get Balki again, and end it on a freeze frame! Oddly enough Dean Stockwell is in both Dune and Langoliers.
@@MattTalksVinyl Oh yes Balki made the movie! Yes Dean Stockwell is in the original DUNE! I'm really looking forward to the new DUNE! If it ever comes out!
At this time I have a gallery room that I display them in... its getting crowded. I can really sell them because they are so fragile and thin they wouldn't survive the trip!

That is amazing. I like Lynch's worm to.
Thank you! I was trying to be a but different... but I ended up with the David Dune worm!!!
Your idea for the sand whirlpool was brilliant! I can only imagine how long this took but it was clearly worth it.

Love the detailing on this. Good job!

I ran into your video by accident, and I love this piece. The length of the jaw I feel is longer than it should be, but it's gorgeous.
