thank you for your video. It really gave me the confidence to do the same lift on my 2009 Tahoe LTZ. I have had the leveling kit for several months, and it works perfectly.
I used a ReadyLift 2.25 leveling kit on a 2010 chevy tahoe ltz this did not affect my stability ride on my tahoe. My kit also came a 1.5 spacers for the rear.
Thanks for the video. Baby, gets the like and subscribe. I have a 3-month-old, lol.... also responding to a year old video is amazing lol..... maybe do an update video and link it in a pinned comment, just a thought seems ppl are curious....... Ask me how I know 😂
Nice Video. Why did you decide to add this. I am interested in taking my suburban into places that need high clearance. Does this help with your overall clearance?
I bought an 09 avalanche and im 95 percent sure this is the kit for my truck too can anyone confirm? Also would this help clear tire rub if the truck has a little bit bigger of a tire i think i have 35s im not sure because I bought the truck with them on.
Not sure on the tire size (forums might be your best bet), but yes this kit should work with an avalanche as that is basically just a Tahoe with a bed lol
@@gridengine cool I think this is the same that rough country brings up on their websites. Quick question tho. If I don't have to take of the tie rods and only loosen up the sway bar. Can I get away with this without an alignment?
Good vid thanks, so hers what’s happening with my 15 LTZ 2wd Tahoe After install it is shutting off at random moments when driving usually while turning Any ideas?? Started doing that just hours after install, coincedence??😅
So no need for an alignment afterwards?
You should definitely get an alignment afterwards. This will cause extra outer tire wear.

Heck yeah man! So happy to hear it!
Nice Bro . I am frim Saudi Arabia thanks 🙏🏽 🎉

Hell yeah! Seems like the smaller lifts don’t mess with the stabilitrac too much.
Just passing threw to let you know I saw this grill on your truck and instantly ordered it !!! 🔥🔥🔥
Let’s goooo 💪💪

Hell yeah man! Fatherhood is great 💪 we just recently got rid of the Tahoe, but this mod worked as advertised the whole time!
Maybe im wrong but i think you think Stabilitrack has something to do with the auto airride..
Last time I checked, it definitely does. But maybe I’m wrong! Does it not?
After over a year of driving it, have any lights or issues come up, or is it still great just a bit stiffer?
No issues at all! Just needs an alignment after the kit is installed.
Also, does yours have auto level shocks in the rear in addition in addition to magneride? @@gridengine
@JP-vh9bl yes it does.
looks like you put the block in without removing anything besides the lower strut bolts. can i do it like that?
You can. It’s tricky, but with a pry bar and some elbow grease, it’s possible 👌
What was that exhaust set up?
Flow master 40 series, rear resonator delete, and a tune that turns off active fuel management.
I put a 3.5 leveling kit on my and I have the stability track light on 😢
Yeah. 3.5 is usually where shit goes wrong
Nice Video. Why did you decide to add this. I am interested in taking my suburban into places that need high clearance. Does this help with your overall clearance?
It will add a little clearance in the front, but if you want real clearance, a real lift kit is what you’re gonna want. This mod is mostly cosmetic.
Never showed the actual ride height from outside veiw
Sorry king.
No after picture?
The thumbnail is the after picture lol.

We didn’t get an alignment on ours and the front tires have begun to ware poorly in the front. Probably best to get an alignment.
@@gridengine sweet thanks man appreciate the info and your video!
No problem!!
Think it'll work on the LTZ with AutoAirRide?
I believe the auto air ride is the same as the one shown in this video. So I will give you a 90% yes
Good vid thanks, so hers what’s happening with my 15 LTZ 2wd Tahoe

What exactly is shutting off? The engine?
Any one that can help
Have you tried the forums? Those people usually know a lot!
Some kits have adjustment brackets for the stability control links.
Ooh! That’s a good idea!
Nice video, did you face any change in fuel consumption due to leveling?
Not that I’ve noticed. 💪
😂
Great video by the way, very thorough
Thanks man!
Did it mess anything up have air ride
Nope! All is still just fine
@@gridengine ok cool thanks hows the ride stiffer? Etc
It’s a little stiffer in the rear, but the front is the same 👌 I think the appearance far outweighs the minor loss of comfort.
So no need to buy the 400$ module to turn the light off then!?
Not in our experience! You should be good if you’re just installing the leveling kit in a 2007-2014
Stabilitrak is Chevys traction control. You’re working on auto ride suspension.
The light that comes on if the auto ride is fucked up is stabilitrak. That’s why the word was used
