I love the concept, but when it comes down to games that really matter. The BP will be burnt out and their starters wont be able to throw strikes. It happened last year when DUMBO Dave Roberts used Urias for an inning. Two days later, Urias couldn't even throw a strike and they took him out really early. But I hope it works for the Phillies, I HATE the Cheatros!

I would say your comment is only true for when the team your rooting for loses, but when that happens, I don't even care to watch that game's highlights.
When your team wins though, watching highlights is not even close to watching an entire game live. I know because I've done only highlights before & now watch live games.
You can't possibly be as emotionally invested & feel the intensity of the game with short highlight clips of the game. The lows feel so much lower & the excitement of scoring is often euphoric. I'm not even a fan of either team, but have a clear rooting interest for 1 team over the other & I was a bundle of nerves watching this game.

The umpire that called the hitter back for leaning into the pitch made the most impressive call i've ever seen in my years watching baseball, what an on-the-nose call, respects brother. Isn't it nice to see the entire Phillies team pinch in, and not wholy lean on Harper to get things done? I can see that these guys have tapped into something special and are a force to be rekonned with. I loved watching Verlander get lit up, that people, is art in motion for me. The Astros better strap in baby, we coming for you. In reality, could have gone either way, it was an inch-of an-advantage that we took and they didnt. Loving every minute of it.

We cannot explain certain emotions that only a sport like baseball gives ...
and for more than four grueling hours and nine unpredictable and unmissable innings, the game failed to decide which force should prevail over the diamond.
The Philadelphia Phillies down 0 5 made a comeback and won in the 10th inning with a JT Realmuto home run
    for 6 5 -
What a game, and we are only in the first game.
The "essential" moment of the match was Nick Castellanos' acrobatic and very difficult rescue, achieved with a sliding grip to end the innings.
To be seen and reviewed and given to the children who aspire
to the WONDERFUL game of Baseball.

The Phillies and Astros were in the postseason before. In 1980, when Houston was in the National League, the Astros made their first-ever playoff appearance in the NLCS. The Phillies beat the Astros in five games. The Phillies were led by Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Bake McBride
Tug McGraw and Garry Maddox. The Astros had Nolan Ryan, Joe
Morgan, Enos Cabell and Jose Cruz, and if he hadn't suffered a
career ending stroke, J.R. Richard. The Phillies won their first World Series.
