I think the main reason is too many people have brought families that they can't support and rely on state resources which is unsustainable. Also, using agent's means you're taking a risk by coming in the backdoor. Please do your homework and research and go through official routes, NOT through middle men who are often unreliable. It's NOT up to the government to refund people who have not done their due diligence. Sorry, but people have to take personal responsibility for trying to cut corners🤷

I feel sorry for people who do the right thing and found out later about their employer mess… don’t feel sorry for people who pay for sponsorship… the law is clear and all is written on the government website… I don’t have to pay for sponsorship (18k, 19K)… ignorance is not an excuse
But with the current situation of things...what's your advice for people who feels like using their work leave in Nigeria... and come back to the uk in few weeks time...do you think they will be save from coming back to the uk if at all their company's license got revoked while they went for holiday in Nigeria
No they will not be safe. There was a story of a couple that traveled back to Nigeria for a funeral. Whilst they were away the lead applicants company had their licence revoked. When they were coming back to the UK they were denied entry to country. They were not even given the 60 days. They were not even allowed back into the country to mange their affairs.
