Great heat as always! Extra points for the close up shot of the driver who figures out one of those tires laying there is off his rig. Awesome coverage. Keep em coming! Especially when they are as hard hitting action packed as this heat. Thank You.

they both hold up good, I never notice the pre 70s chevys in the derbies,

It's sad to see the older trucks in these derbies. Hell, you could probably get them all off road worthy and haul a load of wood, go hunting, etc. I'd almost still trust them more than this new 80K junk rolling out of the factories.😢

Shit those early 60’s unibody’s done right are worth more than a new truck now days. Those dodges look harder than them waste in my opinion.

It's always the old Ford's that go the distance. The newer trucks fold up too easily.

Those grocery cart wheels are the dumbest-looking derby trend, so far. Pretty good heat. I hate it when it comes down to two drivers trying to avoid taking damage.

For my projects I'm offered more free parts by derby guys than anyone else. They pull a lot of what we can't buy anyone off of them. And they tend to run special engines instead of the originals. There really isn't much that could have been save. Some steering components maybe. Suspension. But that is about it. Bodies are usually done.

    • @dustinlange9759

In my 20+ years of being around demo derbies I've come to realize that if something looks like a good part, it only LOOKS like a good part.
The only thing that should be any good is the stuff used for driver protection, otherwise everything else is on its last leg anyway.
Though I'll give it to you; a few vehicles here look like they could have been salvaged in some way, mostly some body panels.
